Very expensive for the quality. If you don't get any additional toppings the price is fine (still a little high considering the noodles taste like that of Maruchan). Some additional toppings are an additional $2 others are $1, when you add them up to give your food a bit more taste it will come out to much closer to $25. We got the number 1 and the broth if very much on the fishy side. The service is pretty good, it's a very everything everywhere at once but the people who work there are very very kind. Ramen Hub definitely hit the spot! I ordered the #3 Shoyu Chicken Broth ramen ($13.95) and it was absolutely delicious. The broth had great flavor--rich, savory, and comforting. The noodles were cooked perfectly and everything tasted fresh. I also tried a California Roll and a Shrimp Crunchy Roll, and both were really good. The sushi was fresh and well made, with great texture and flavor. One thing that really surprised me was the Sugar Spiral Potato--crispy, fun, and super tasty. Definitely something different and worth trying. The whole meal was satisfying and a great value for the price. If you're craving ramen and sushi in one spot, Ramen Hub is a solid choice. I really like the food here on occasions but other times it's alright. kinda inconsistent but it is really popular because it's so cheap and the food hits the spot most of the time. I usually order the original tomkatsu. It had less broth and egg wasn't cooked like it used to be. The sushi is cheap but you know what you're getting for this price. Seems like grocery store quality which is still good but not really anything over the top special. Too bad too because it was better several years ago. Service was fine, staff is super busy, lots of credit to them I will say. They don't have any down time for sure. Even the area where you see the people in the back you can see it really busy back there. Ambiance is more like a fast food restaurant then a regular restaurant. Which is fine because the price reflects that. Just know that if you come here it will be busy pretty much round the clock. Seems like they're busy here since their prices are cheap. But we were not that hungry and ordered 2 rolls vegas and philly crispy roll and an order of chicken karaage. Great spot that's open late. Recently in the area and needed some place to eat after a comedy show and this was one of the only places open that also had good reviews. The kaarage was crispy, yet tender and juicy. My husband enjoyed the ramen and I liked the sushi. The energy was just right as the place was pretty busy. I ordered the Crunchy Shrimp Roll and my hubby ordered the Bachata Crunch Roll with shrimp tempura, crab, salmon, avocado, eel sauce and spicy mayo. Both rolls were fresh and flavorful. The tempura was crunchy and not greasy. Very delicious. The wasabi was just right, not too spicy with the fresh ginger slices. I stopped here thinking it was an ice cream place, but they had a whole Ramen and sushi restaurant attached to it. This was definitely a hidden gem. Considering the prices are so affordable, I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. I got the shrimp Crunchyroll and it was extremely fresh and made with quality shrimp. They also have many specials so if you're dining in, make sure to take advantage and get a drink for one dollar to three dollars. The service is decent sometimes when it gets busy, you can wait a bit, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for the area. It's a busy area so around dinner and lunchtime they have a crowd. If you're looking to come here make sure to account for the time it will take you to dine. However, all of the workers are extremely friendly and are working as fast as they can. The ambience of the restaurant is a little bit outdated and it's very dark inside. However, the food makes it completely worth it. If you're in the area definitely give this place a try. read more

I came here with a few of my friends and they're not exactly foodies. I, on the other hand, will keep it real with y'all. Service was ok, everything is self serve except getting your food which was pretty convenient. You pay first so tip isn't something you need to do since everything is self-serve. Inside has enough seating as well as their outdoor patio. There's also no paper towels when you wash your hands so use their napkins..? I only ordered their takoyaki because I wasn't all that hungry but as comedic as it was, they accidentally gave us an extra ramen which I did mention to them, but they said we can just have it so I ended up eating some of it. The ramen wasn't bad but it wasn't hitting for me as well as the broth. Their takoyaki was about $8 for a 5 piece and it also wasn't as good as you'd think. Ramen was not that great here. The broth wasn't creamy at all. It tasted salty and bland. I'd give the broth here a 4/10 honestly. I got the tonkotsu and the pork in it was SUPER chewy and it didn't even look cooked. There's other ramen spots in LB, I suggest going there rather than here! I had a great experience at Ramen Hub and Sushi. From the moment I walked in, the service was excellent and very welcoming. Love Ramen Hub! Located next to SomiSomi and Philz, it's literally the cheapest sushi that I know of, and not in a bad way! It's not really a secret, this place gets busy and it has a small parking lot, so lines can get weirdly long. I got the spicy tuna roll, and they ran a summer promotion with their milk teas so I grabbed a thai milk tea with no boba. I added some photos of other items I've grabbed but this place is literally gold for a college student. This spot is FUSION so as long as you adjust your expectations, it's great for what it is. Especially if you go between Mon-Wed and you get the free extra portion of noodles and also $3 boba when dining in, then the value is definitely there. I'd only recommend the tonkotsu however. The first time I came here, I tried their tonkotsu ramen and it wasn't bad. It didn't exactly blow my mind but I had no real complaints about it. I like the richness of their broth and appreciate the portion size. This February heat wave had me craving a cool meal, so I decided to try their poke today. I was hoping it'd be a build-your-own-bowl situation, but they only have one option--their salmon poke bowl. Pulled from their website, it has: Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Krab, Avocado, Cucumber, Corn, Ginger, Wasabi, topped with Sesame Furikake on a bed of Sushi Rice. Everything besides the cucumbers was fresh. The cucumbers tasted fine and still had a nice crunch to it; I was just put off by how it felt like it had been recently thawed. I was satisfied with the portion of salmon, spicy tuna, and krab. The sushi rice tasted like they put too much rice vinegar in it, which kinda threw the bowl as a whole off, but it didn't kill the entire experience for me. All in all, I'd say for a ramen spot, their poke wasn't too bad. Kinda pricey though at $16.95 per bowl. They have self-serve sauces off to the side where they sell canned and bottled beverages. It's easy to miss and I almost left without them. That would've been a bummer. I helped myself to their spicy mayo, ponzu, and eel sauce. It would've been nice if they had wasabi mayo, but they at least had the staple sauces I like to put on my poke. Service is average, but I do like the size of the restaurant and the ambiance. It's a chill, mid-size spot to grab food and drinks with friends or family. They sell their t-shirts too that has a cool screenprint design of a bowl of ramen on the back. I'd say if you're in the area and aren't feeling ramen but craving poke, give Ramen Hub's a shot. However, going to a dedicated poke place may be for the better since they'd have more options for toppings and would be more consistent with their recipe. The portions are pretty generous and can easily be split between two people. I think if it's that serious then just charge the 50 cents per sauce like most places do. It was a late night and I wanted Ramen. This spot was the only place in near the area I was in so we decided to give it a try! The location has plenty of seating, your order prior to sitting. The service is standard and while it was busy, I think their staff did a great job accommodating and being patient with answering all our questions prior to ordering. I came to Ramen Hub back in the beginning months of when it opened, excited that we finally got a ramen place in this area of Long Beach. It was certainly one of the OG's to open several years ago but I haven't been back since just because we have so much great ramen in the area. Stopped by on a late Thursday night because it was one of the only places open this late for ramen. Glad I got a chance to try it again because they're whipping up quality bowls just like they did back when I first tried it--but they definitely seem to be even better than I remember before (which is nice, because it feels like post-COVID nothing is as good as it used to be). They have a pretty big menu of sides and drinks, but just a few types of ramen. As a typical California ramen lover, I got the Tonkotsu which was nice and flavorful and the chashu was well cooked. You can make yours spicy so I chose medium which had a good kick to it but not so unpleasantly spicy that it's not enjoyable. The one thing I noticed about the egg was that it was the same thing I remembered about it when I came many years ago--the marinade it soaked in isn't very strong, which if you want a more plain egg then that's good for you. Got a side of takoyaki as well which was good and came out super fresh. Inside is really nice, good energy and lots of seating even though it was so busy. The outside, even on a chilly night, is a good place to sit since there's heater lamps. Parking in the lot can be full if it's busy but late at night it's not a problem--you can find parking on the street right in front. This area of Long Beach is pretty safe at night. read more

One guy in particular (tall, curly hair, with mustache) already looked at me when I gestured I am picking up my order and yet, ignored me and started chatting with the lady cashier instead. I have been standing in front of him for at least 2 minutes already, but he never bothered to help. Even the other staff was not paying any attention but at least he was busy, but this guy? He was just pretending to be waiting for food to come out from the kitchen and so he probably thought it's okay to chat instead of attending to all customers.
