I keep driving by this place and I finally decided to give it a try! Super yummy! Came in during a pretty quiet time so I got seated right away, perfect on a day where I decided to come solo~ Got the shrimp crunch roll and a lemonade, shoutout to the server Gio was super sweet and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back as this is one of the few places open late at nigh

Perfect desert after some delicious ramen! We always get the classic ramen and a sushi roll.

Loved my visit to Ramen Hub! The food was delicious, and Gio made the experience even better. He was super friendly, attentive, and provided amazing service. Definitely coming back!

Was super excited to come here for the sake bombs since we haven't been in forever ! But my soup had a piece of BURNT PLASTIC IN IT ! I was so disappointed!! They wanted to give me a new bowl but I can't ever eat here again. ):

Just a heads up: you have to order your food before you get seated. You can't reserve tables, your whole party has to be there, and you don't get a table first -- you order, then find seating. There are a lot of tables, but when I went many of them were closed off. I also overheard someone say they're open until 2 a.m. Friday night was very loud. There were a lot of high schoolers and junior high kids, so the vibe felt more chaotic than relaxed. That was just my experience that night, but if you're looking for a chill dinner, I wouldn't recommend going on a Friday evening. That said, the ramen itself was good and the service was fast. Parking was easy too -- both on-site and street parking available. Overall, good food and quick service, just be mindful of the timing if noise and crowds aren't your thing Check in on Yelp for a FREE drink

I forgot that we came here browsed and skipped it and now i know why... Super loud and rowdy in here i guess it attracts more of a younger crowd. Seems like they're busy here since their prices are cheap. But we were not that hungry and ordered 2 rolls vegas and philly crispy roll and an order of chicken karaage. The best thing was the chicken karaage the rolls were questionable and mid. The vegas roll which has their spicy tuna inside had a very red color to it and tasted mid i do not recommend philly crispy unless you like a greasy roll and overcooked salmon. But you get what you pay for.. I do not recommend

Clean, cool laid back atmosphere with excellent customer service. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered the Crunchy Shrimp Roll and my hubby ordered the Bachata Crunch Roll with shrimp tempura, crab, salmon, avocado, eel sauce and spicy mayo. Both rolls were fresh and flavorful. The tempura was crunchy and not greasy. Very delicious. The wasabi was just right, not too spicy with the fresh ginger slices. If you order two entrees for dine in you can get a $1.00 fountain drink and a $3.00 beer. We ordered both. I love that they are open till 12.30am on a Saturday night. We arrived at 11:00 pm. We are definitely going back for sushi and to try the ramen. A+

Great spot that's open late. Recently in the area and needed some place to eat after a comedy show and this was one of the only places open that also had good reviews. The kaarage was crispy, yet tender and juicy. My husband enjoyed the ramen and I liked the sushi. The energy was just right as the place was pretty busy. There was a steady flow of customers coming in and out, plus they had a decent sized parking lot. We're not in the area often but if we were we'd definitely stop in again!

I've always heard of ramen hub from friends but i finally got try it. I got the tonkatsu ramen with extra green onions and i split a tuna cucumber roll. The food was below average but i still really enjoyed it for the price. The restaurant has an ordering area then open outdoor with heaters and indoors seating. They had some great happy hour deals and on Wednesday they offered a free side of noodles. Service was extremely fast had our food ready minutes after sitting down. Ramen hub is a great value ramen restaurant!

I stopped here thinking it was an ice cream place, but they had a whole Ramen and sushi restaurant attached to it. This was definitely a hidden gem. Considering the prices are so affordable, I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. I got the shrimp Crunchyroll and it was extremely fresh and made with quality shrimp. They also have many specials so if you're dining in, make sure to take advantage and get a drink for one dollar to three dollars. The service is decent sometimes when it gets busy, you can wait a bit, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for the area. It's a busy area so around dinner and lunchtime they have a crowd. If you're looking to come here make sure to account for the time it will take you to dine. However, all of the workers are extremely friendly and are working as fast as they can. The ambience of the restaurant is a little bit outdated and it's very dark inside. However, the food makes it completely worth it. If you're in the area definitely give this place a try.

Scallop Carpaccio and Scallop Nigiri

Chose this place last minute, and it hit the spot. I'm a big scallop gal, so we ordered the scallop carpaccio, scallop nigiri, as well as the hot night roll (which doesn't have scallops lol). All were good. My friend also ordered himself the chicken katsu, which was super thin and almost schnitzel-like. Service was efficient, and place was clean. Overall, good spot.

Free Ramen so idk which one

I came here with a few of my friends and they're not exactly foodies. I, on the other hand, will keep it real with y'all. Service was ok, everything is self serve except getting your food which was pretty convenient. You pay first so tip isn't something you need to do since everything is self-serve. Inside has enough seating as well as their outdoor patio. There's also no paper towels when you wash your hands so use their napkins..? I only ordered their takoyaki because I wasn't all that hungry but as comedic as it was, they accidentally gave us an extra ramen which I did mention to them, but they said we can just have it so I ended up eating some of it. The ramen wasn't bad but it wasn't hitting for me as well as the broth. Their takoyaki was about $8 for a 5 piece and it also wasn't as good as you'd think. The inside wasn't piping hot but pretty lukewarm. Overall, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The prices for all their items seem overpriced for mediocre food for me and I'm not sure I'd come back.

Ask the Community - Ramen Hub & Sushi

Is this place under new management and/or ownership?

It is the same Management.

Is it dog friendly?

Nop

This place is listed today as having outdoor seating. Is it still available? If it is, is it covered or heated? How many people can sit there? / June 8, 2023

Yes, were there fairly recently. Covered and heated.

Do they do take out?

Yes. I've done it before

Is the current hours of operation correct? I tried calling at 10:40pm (on a Sunday) to double check but their answering machine does not say.

Can I order the poke with salad too instead of rice?

Call them

I see that they have Gluten free noodles for the ramen but is the broth gluten free too?

am not sure but u can ask if the broth is gluten free or not hope this helps

Do they speak japanese here?

The owner totally does, he is a nice guy.

Does this place serve authentic poke (the type that has been marinating usually overnight)?

No, they have plain fish and you choose your sauces

Is there wifi?

Yes! It's posted everywhere in their restaurant!!

How does this place compare to Daikokuya in Little Tokyo or Yamadaya in Torrance?

Apples and oranges. You should be comparing the 3 Long Beach ramen spots instead. Between HiroNori, Tajima and Ramen Hub, I prefer HiroNori. HiroNori has good flavor that's not as heavy as Yamadaya. Tajima would be next with their buttery tonkotsu…

When does the poke start ^_^?

Poke is officially on the menu as of 7/8

I felt welcomed by the cool tones of the interior design and layout actually. We waited by the door as a party of two. Not too long after we entered were we greeted by the hosted and seated outdoors, as we requested. Even though it is on fourth street which has plenty of street traffic, it was still a quiet, comfortable dining experience. Every thing on the menu looked and sounded amazing but I planned to try the ramen because I've been craving a good bowl of ramen for a while. I landed on the shoyu ramen with tofu. I really enjoyed the taste of the broth. The flavor and seasoning was soul-healing. I don't usually go with plain chicken broth in ramen but I felt confident in my choice. I was literally happy dancing with each bite. The ramen was so good! My partner went with a spicy order of tonkotsu ramen with chicken, garlic, and black oil sauce. I tried parts of it and it was also delicious! I wanted to try the sushi but did not have that big of an appetite for both sushi and ramen so I opted for the salmon poke tacos. They tasted very savory and the salmon was flavored really well. The temperature and consistency was not too overwhelming for the tacos shell. The service was attentive and not too invasive. We took the check to the counter to pay. I am excited for our next trip here. It is dangerously walking distance for us! The gyoza wasn't bad overall, but the wrappers were a little too thick, the dipping sauce was forgettable, and it tasted like it may have been frozen. The spicy tonkotsu was pretty good. The spice level worked well, there was a slight hint of miso in the broth, and it was served at the right temperature. The pork belly was a little tough though. The portion reflects the price point. The place has a slightly unusual layout where the staff may not notice you immediately, but once they do, service is fast and friendly. The setup is also perfect if you enjoy sitting by the window and watching the street while you eat. Overall, Jounetsu Ramen doesn't disappoint, but compared to LA's heavy hitters, the ramen still has ways to go.

But I had heard so many great things about HiroNori that I wanted to try it anyways. My brother especially kept hyping them up, and he LOVES ramen. And I'm glad I decided to try them out! While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. They do not have tipping, instead they have a service charge of a little over 17%. Definitely worth it!

Parking is a bit of a game of chance thanks to the tiny lot, so plan accordingly. Once you're inside though, the restaurant is super clean, modern, and the service is fast and attentive. We started with the papaya salad. It was just okay--I'm still trying to figure out why there was a blanket of romaine lettuce casually lounging on top. I ordered medium spice, which turned out to be "medium if you breathe fire for fun." The papaya was also a little more raw than I personally like. The tom kha soup was decent, but the real MVP was the drunken noodles with beef. Those noodles were absolutely swimming in savory goodness and perfectly soft. I would've happily ordered a second plate and called it "dessert." Overall, I'd definitely come back--mostly because those drunken noodles are already living rent-free in my head.

My family and I were heading to the Aquarium of the Pacific and wanted to find a good dinner spot…read morenearby afterward. I came across this place on TikTok because of their famous Thai tea popsicle, so naturally I had high hopes. First off, we got incredibly lucky with parking. I can definitely see how parking could be a nightmare since the lot is tiny, so consider finding a spot part of the dining experience. When we arrived, the inside was cute and seemed clean. We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

The lady didn't say anything just looked at my order on my phone and handed it to me. It was packaged nicely and had everything I needed in the bag. It was pretty spicy yet very flavorful. Good portion of noodles which is always the one thing I run out of first with ramens. I'd definitely order again when I have a ramen craving!

A pretty good local ramen place with very kind staff! It's not where you'd go for authentic…read moreJapanese ramen but it does a great job still. I got the vegetable miso ramen with spice level 2. It wasn't too spicy but I could also do without it because it was more of a numbing rather than flavorful spice. The regular noodles are a little thin but they're plentiful! There was a part that was kind of clumped together in my soup though. The broth was more just savory and salty but nothing really stood out as miso or anything different. I appreciate that they have a fair amount of bok choy and bean sprouts. And the tofu was really good too! It was covered in tempura so was almost agedashi-like but they only did give 2 pieces. Our waiter, Hector, was helpful, kind and continually attentive so shoutout to him! Prices are reasonable for ramen too. Glad I got to try!

Cute interior for a ramen shop. Beautiful wood accents and neon signs bring the vibe to life…read more Service was great. The food is better than average. Ramen competition in LB is stiff. Cucumber salad was the only fresh/light vegetable option on the menu. Decent but nothing to write home about. Ramen had solid flavor. I like that you can pick your spice level. The pork was fatty and delicious. I wish they put less noodles. I did order the thick ones which cost a bit more but the ratio was WAYY off. My bowl was 75% noodles which didn't leave room for much soup and the fillings were lost in the mix. I had enough left overs for a full second serving - so great to share!
