Ramen Hub definitely hit the spot! I ordered the #3 Shoyu Chicken Broth ramen ($13.95) and it was absolutely delicious. The broth had great flavor--rich, savory, and comforting. The noodles were cooked perfectly and everything tasted fresh. I also tried a California Roll and a Shrimp Crunchy Roll, and both were really good. The sushi was fresh and well made, with great texture and flavor. One thing that really surprised me was the Sugar Spiral Potato--crispy, fun, and super tasty. Definitely something different and worth trying. The whole meal was satisfying and a great value for the price. If you're craving ramen and sushi in one spot, Ramen Hub is a solid choice. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. also great customer service. Thank you so much. Always a great environment to be in.!

I forgot that we came here browsed and skipped it and now i know why... Super loud and rowdy in here i guess it attracts more of a younger crowd. Seems like they're busy here since their prices are cheap. But we were not that hungry and ordered 2 rolls vegas and philly crispy roll and an order of chicken karaage. The best thing was the chicken karaage the rolls were questionable and mid. The vegas roll which has their spicy tuna inside had a very red color to it and tasted mid i do not recommend philly crispy unless you like a greasy roll and overcooked salmon. But you get what you pay for.. I do not recommend

Great spot that's open late. Recently in the area and needed some place to eat after a comedy show and this was one of the only places open that also had good reviews. The kaarage was crispy, yet tender and juicy. My husband enjoyed the ramen and I liked the sushi. The energy was just right as the place was pretty busy. There was a steady flow of customers coming in and out, plus they had a decent sized parking lot. We're not in the area often but if we were we'd definitely stop in again!

Clean, cool laid back atmosphere with excellent customer service. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered the Crunchy Shrimp Roll and my hubby ordered the Bachata Crunch Roll with shrimp tempura, crab, salmon, avocado, eel sauce and spicy mayo. Both rolls were fresh and flavorful. The tempura was crunchy and not greasy. Very delicious. The wasabi was just right, not too spicy with the fresh ginger slices. If you order two entrees for dine in you can get a $1.00 fountain drink and a $3.00 beer. We ordered both. I love that they are open till 12.30am on a Saturday night. We arrived at 11:00 pm. We are definitely going back for sushi and to try the ramen. A+

I stopped here thinking it was an ice cream place, but they had a whole Ramen and sushi restaurant attached to it. This was definitely a hidden gem. Considering the prices are so affordable, I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. I got the shrimp Crunchyroll and it was extremely fresh and made with quality shrimp. They also have many specials so if you're dining in, make sure to take advantage and get a drink for one dollar to three dollars. The service is decent sometimes when it gets busy, you can wait a bit, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for the area. It's a busy area so around dinner and lunchtime they have a crowd. If you're looking to come here make sure to account for the time it will take you to dine. However, all of the workers are extremely friendly and are working as fast as they can. The ambience of the restaurant is a little bit outdated and it's very dark inside. However, the food makes it completely worth it. If you're in the area definitely give this place a try.

I have always passed this restaurant but never visited and I am so happy I finally did I had the vegan ramen and it was so good! The broth was so flavorful which I have found is rare with vegan ramen so I am so excited about this. The service was great everyone was super helpful. It was pretty busy that day but the food still came out pretty fast! Great service can't wait to go back

I've always heard of ramen hub from friends but i finally got try it. I got the tonkatsu ramen with extra green onions and i split a tuna cucumber roll. The food was below average but i still really enjoyed it for the price. The restaurant has an ordering area then open outdoor with heaters and indoors seating. They had some great happy hour deals and on Wednesday they offered a free side of noodles. Service was extremely fast had our food ready minutes after sitting down. Ramen hub is a great value ramen restaurant!

Chose this place last minute, and it hit the spot. I'm a big scallop gal, so we ordered the scallop carpaccio, scallop nigiri, as well as the hot night roll (which doesn't have scallops lol). All were good. My friend also ordered himself the chicken katsu, which was super thin and almost schnitzel-like. Service was efficient, and place was clean. Overall, good spot.

I came here with a few of my friends and they're not exactly foodies. I, on the other hand, will keep it real with y'all. Service was ok, everything is self serve except getting your food which was pretty convenient. You pay first so tip isn't something you need to do since everything is self-serve. Inside has enough seating as well as their outdoor patio. There's also no paper towels when you wash your hands so use their napkins..? I only ordered their takoyaki because I wasn't all that hungry but as comedic as it was, they accidentally gave us an extra ramen which I did mention to them, but they said we can just have it so I ended up eating some of it. The ramen wasn't bad but it wasn't hitting for me as well as the broth. Their takoyaki was about $8 for a 5 piece and it also wasn't as good as you'd think. The inside wasn't piping hot but pretty lukewarm. Overall, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The prices for all their items seem overpriced for mediocre food for me and I'm not sure I'd come back.

Wanted to add they do take cash as hiro nori is cashless around the corner. Winter special has $3 bobas w dine in or $1 fountain drink (free w yelp sign in) Just added pork ribs to menu for $4.95

8/10 Blazing SoCal Roll - I didn't realize this was a fried roll since it wasn't noted on the menu. It was still tasty, but I personally would've preferred it unfried. 9/10 Chicken Karaage - Delicious and worth repeating! The chicken pieces were extra large and perfectly cooked. 10/10 Passion Fruit Tea - Light, refreshing, and just $2.00 during happy hour! The chewy topping added the perfect texture. Cost - Blazing SoCal Roll $12.95, Chicken Karaage $6.75, Passion Fruit Tea $2.00 (During happy hour).

I had a great experience at Ramen Hub and Sushi. From the moment I walked in, the service was excellent and very welcoming. The staff made sure I was taken care of and even hooked me up with extra noodles while I waited, which I really appreciated. The pricing was fair for the amount of food you get, and the portions were generous. Most importantly, the ramen was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor and very satisfying. Overall, I was genuinely impressed with both the food and the service, and I will definitely be coming back. Also, the seating area indoors and outdoors are booth pretty chill

Love Ramen Hub! Located next to SomiSomi and Philz, it's literally the cheapest sushi that I know of, and not in a bad way! It's not really a secret, this place gets busy and it has a small parking lot, so lines can get weirdly long. I got the spicy tuna roll, and they ran a summer promotion with their milk teas so I grabbed a thai milk tea with no boba. I added some photos of other items I've grabbed but this place is literally gold for a college student. Chashu bowls for 7 bucks, sushi for 7 bucks, I mean I'm surprised they haven't upped the price for the inflation. Staff were friendly as always for this location. This is the neighborhood spot for a college student on a budget.

Is this place under new management and/or ownership?

    It is the same Management.

    Is it dog friendly?

    Nop

This place is listed today as having outdoor seating. Is it still available? If it is, is it covered or heated? How many people can sit there? / June 8, 2023

Yes, were there fairly recently. Covered and heated.

    Do they do take out?

    Yes. I've done it before

Is the current hours of operation correct? I tried calling at 10:40pm (on a Sunday) to double check but their answering machine does not say.

Can I order the poke with salad too instead of rice?

    Call them

I see that they have Gluten free noodles for the ramen but is the broth gluten free too?

am not sure but u can ask if the broth is gluten free or not hope this helps

    Do they speak japanese here?

The owner totally does, he is a nice guy.

Does this place serve authentic poke (the type that has been marinating usually overnight)?

No, they have plain fish and you choose your sauces

    Is there wifi?

Yes! It's posted everywhere in their restaurant!!

How does this place compare to Daikokuya in Little Tokyo or Yamadaya in Torrance?

Apples and oranges. You should be comparing the 3 Long Beach ramen spots instead. Between HiroNori, Tajima and Ramen Hub, I prefer HiroNori. HiroNori has good flavor that's not as heavy as Yamadaya. Tajima would be next with their buttery tonkotsu… Read more

But I had heard so many great things about HiroNori that I wanted to try it anyways. My brother especially kept hyping them up, and he LOVES ramen. And I'm glad I decided to try them out! While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. They do not have tipping, instead they have a service charge of a little over 17%. Definitely worth it!

They also provide watermelon infused water, which was perfect for a warm day out. Although this restaurant is quite small, service was fast and very accommodating. I have been here several times and service plus quality of the food never changes! Seats here don't have any back support but it adds to the modern aesthetic and vibe of the restaurant. I had those the first time I came and they were delicious the furikake fries were good. Just needed a tiny bit of salt and it would've made them pop a little more. The ramen however...... ouch. The noodles are amazing! Very delicious and love the size and texture. The meat was like forgettable. Like didn't take like anything sadly. Now the broth. That was the most disappointing thing. I honestly thought something was wrong. Literally tasted like water. I remember coming here last time but I could only remember the octopus balls so I gave it a second chance and wow did I immediately remember why I don't come here. Honestly the broth was such a turnoff. The corn side had more flavor than the broth. The service also pissed me off. First like several tables were sat and ordered and our server didn't come to our table. Second we order waters and a beer. Then ordered the fries and the ramen. Tell me why the waters came last. Like I had to ask for them again. Next we got our ramen and it came with a regular tablespoon. Which I didn't want to make a huge deal out of, but honestly that spoon is only given upon request so to get it out right is weird, especially at a ramen restaurant. I noticed every table around us automatically got the renge. I had to ask for the renge. On top of that I had to ask a random server cause our visited our table once to deliver the water and that it's. We had to ask for our check and for a box and for the renge. Quite ridiculous enough for me to complain about it in a review. Literally go somewhere else it's not worth the 70$ when it tastes like water.

Originally, we were going to try to hit up Zuzu's petal, but the line was ridiculously long and the parking was a nightmare, so I decided to take her to my 2nd choice, which was Kin Long. I thought it would be a run-of-the-mill local, Thai place with food that is more homestyle and tastes slightly above average to hit the Thai food fix. Boy, was I wrong! First and foremost, they have their own parking lot, so YAY! It's starting to sound like my standards are low, but they aren't. OMG- their restroom is clean! JK. From the outside, it looked nice enough, but I was impressed when we entered. It had a comfy, modern, clean, and beachy elegance to it (the lights and that chandelier) without it being stuffy or looking disjointed in terms of interior decor. Servers were very polite and accommodating. I let my friend order since she was the guest. She ordered the garlic shrimp noodles and scampi shrimp to share, and the Thai tea drink with the ice cream bar. I ordered 3 cocktails (Jalapeno + tamarind, Lychee, and Thai tea martini) and they were all good (not overly sweet and weak sauce, but balanced, tasty, and had the right amount of buzz). We had a light lunch since we had AYCE hot pot later that evening (Mikiya - yes I'm a good host). The garlic noodles exceeded my expectations - shrimp were huge, seasoned well, and just cooked through, the noodles were broad, float, tender, and had a slight chewiness to it. The scampi shrimp were huge, tasty, succulent, and cooked perfectly (not surprised since the shrimp with the garlic noodles were so good). NOTHING WAS OVERCOOKED OR MADE ME GO.... "MEH...." and I've been to many Thai restaurants even the highly stylized kitschy ones like Farmhouse Thai in SF. The waiters were very attentive. They made their rounds to make sure waters were filled and all guests were taken care of. It helps they were also handsome too! LOL. I generally find many places nice in the competitive LA, but not nice enough for me to travel from the SGV. However, I will go out of my way to visit KL again to try the rest of their menu (drunken noodles, pork jerky, crab fried rice, papaya salad, etc.) because they left a good impression with me. The broth was more just savory and salty but nothing really stood out as miso or anything different. I appreciate that they have a fair amount of bok choy and bean sprouts.
