Hands down my favorite ramen spot in town! The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are always cooked perfectly, and every bowl is consistently delicious. The staff is friendly, the service is great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. If you're craving amazing ramen, this is the place to go. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Came for lunch because of the amazing deal they have. You can get a mini bowl of ramen, rice bowl, and a side (edamame or salad). They have a variety of ramen types and bowls you can get, I got the blaze ramen which is a spicy creamy pork broth with bean sprouts, spinach, green onion, seaweed, and seasoned egg. You get to pick your protein from pork, chicken, or tofu. My chicken karaage bowl was so tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. It has a japanese style fried chicken, teriyaki sauce, spicy aioli, green onion and red ginger over rice. The rice was cooked perfectly! Chicken karaage was nice and crispy and the sauce complimented it really well. For my side I got edamame which was steamed and salted. This deal is too good, and make me very full! Just a reminder that it is a lunch combo only happening Monday through Friday 12-2pm. Our server was very patient with us and we enjoyed our experience and delicious meal. There is indoor and outdoor seating with many tables already having chopsticks and napkins on them. Music is a little bit loud but I didn't mind it once I started eating.

This is fast becoming one of my favorite places to get Ramen in Long Beach, conveniently located in the Long Beach exchange center, which is close to the hanger that has other eateries plus an ice cream shop across the street Silverlake Ramen has a lot of menu items to offer. Of course there's Ramen, but there's also Poké bowls and Karaage chicken bowls. They're also appetizers as well. Services fast and easy there's outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Indoors is a little colder than I'd like it to be on a nice day outdoors is good to have your meal.

First time trying this ramen at this location. I'm on a low salt diet so the is a broth bit salty for me I had to asked for hot water to make it more bland. Our server was very attentive she kept checking in. It was busy on a Friday night. Cool spot to dine in. Establishment is clean.

It just wasn't impressive enough, considering there are so many excellent Ramen shops in Gardena and Torrance. The broth was just average, a little mild for my taste buds. Service is also all over the place. Maybe it's because we went during a very busy lunch hour.

Great service ! Justin helped us clean up my sons water spill promptly and effectively, Alexa made my drink extra special and was very attentive to keeping our drinks full throughout our dinning session and Jasmine took great care of us and was very sweet with our 3 and 1 year old ! Definitely coming back to this location !

Combos - soup are both ramen tonkotsu with side appetizers of creamy broccolini and Chicken Karaage

Took my boyfriend here as it was his first time trying this place out. We both ordered the combo, which was convenient because we were both looking to order a ramen and appetizer. He got the tonkotsu ramen with the creamy broccolini and I got the same, tonkotsu ramen with chicken karaage. We both enjoyed the broth. It was very frothy and flavorful with a good umami taste. We both liked how to has simple ingredients - seaweed, green, onions, bean sprouts, spinach, and my favorite was the egg, and his favorite was the pork belly - cooked just how he likes it, crispy/crunchy on the outside and tender with an easy bite. I really enjoyed the creaminess off the broccolini. My boyfriend enjoyed the sauce of the broccolini and I liked how it seemed to be a little pan friend so there's were crisp. We both agreed the chicken karaage was okay. Tasted just like a basic chicken karaage. The service was okay. We did sit outdoors so our server came by a few times. But we were waiting sometime because we wanted more water. I had to wave through the glass window to get our server's attention. This locations has a great ambiance. It's located in the LBX Hanger area. Pretty spacious with a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors. When we went it wasn't too busy.

My favorite!! Servers are always so accommodating. They have a side patio so dog friendly. I love to order the classic ramen, broccolini with yummy sauce, and spicy edamame. My guilty pleasure food!!

I went with my cousin for dinner because i was craving ramen and they have a location in Irvine. Since i didn't want to go that location i went to the one in Long Beach. When i come to this location all the servers are nice and always attentive. The inside is very small but there is an outdoor patio. I always come early since the location gets crowded.

    Lindsay G.

This place was just okay for me. I enjoyed the medium-spice broth, but the overall quality doesn't really compete with other ramen spots in Long Beach. It isn't terrible, just not impressive. The seating felt disorganized. There was a long wait, which might've been due to the rainy day, but it was frustrating to watch smaller groups get prioritized. If you're in a party of more than 2-3 people, expect a longer wait. We even saw people who arrived after us get seated first. My ramen only came with one slice of pork, which isn't typical compared to other locations, and while the bowls look large, they're actually pretty shallow. On the positive side, the service was great. Our server was fast, attentive, and definitely a highlight. Overall, this feels more like a "quick lunch if you're already in the area and it's not busy" type of place.

I felt welcomed by the cool tones of the interior design and layout actually. We waited by the door as a party of two. Not too long after we entered were we greeted by the hosted and seated outdoors, as we requested. Even though it is on fourth street which has plenty of street traffic, it was still a quiet, comfortable dining experience. Every thing on the menu looked and sounded amazing but I planned to try the ramen because I've been craving a good bowl of ramen for a while. I landed on the shoyu ramen with tofu. I really enjoyed the taste of the broth. The flavor and seasoning was soul-healing. I don't usually go with plain chicken broth in ramen but I felt confident in my choice. I was literally happy dancing with each bite. The ramen was so good! My partner went with a spicy order of tonkotsu ramen with chicken, garlic, and black oil sauce. I tried parts of it and it was also delicious! I wanted to try the sushi but did not have that big of an appetite for both sushi and ramen so I opted for the salmon poke tacos. They tasted very savory and the salmon was flavored really well. The temperature and consistency was not too overwhelming for the tacos shell. The service was attentive and not too invasive. We took the check to the counter to pay. I am excited for our next trip here. It is dangerously walking distance for us! PS they have a sign that says they are hiring a dishwasher for Saturday and Sunday!

The gyoza wasn't bad overall, but the wrappers were a little too thick, the dipping sauce was forgettable, and it tasted like it may have been frozen. The spicy tonkotsu was pretty good. The spice level worked well, there was a slight hint of miso in the broth, and it was served at the right temperature. The pork belly was a little tough though. The portion reflects the price point. The place has a slightly unusual layout where the staff may not notice you immediately, but once they do, service is fast and friendly. The setup is also perfect if you enjoy sitting by the window and watching the street while you eat. Overall, Jounetsu Ramen doesn't disappoint, but compared to LA's heavy hitters, the ramen still has ways to go.

While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. They do not have tipping, instead they have a service charge of a little over 17%. Definitely worth it!

Parking is a bit of a game of chance thanks to the tiny lot, so plan accordingly. Once you're inside though, the restaurant is super clean, modern, and the service is fast and attentive. We started with the papaya salad. It was just okay--I'm still trying to figure out why there was a blanket of romaine lettuce casually lounging on top. I ordered medium spice, which turned out to be "medium if you breathe fire for fun." The papaya was also a little more raw than I personally like. The tom kha soup was decent, but the real MVP was the drunken noodles with beef. Those noodles were absolutely swimming in savory goodness and perfectly soft. I would've happily ordered a second plate and called it "dessert." Overall, I'd definitely come back--mostly because those drunken noodles are already living rent-free in my head.

I came across this place on TikTok because of their famous Thai tea popsicle, so naturally I had high hopes. First off, we got incredibly lucky with parking. I can definitely see how parking could be a nightmare since the lot is tiny, so consider finding a spot part of the dining experience. When we arrived, the inside was cute and seemed clean. We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

I came at a later time in the evening so there were plenty of seats available. The menu is extensive and there SO many options to choose from so you'll never get bored coming here. Apple was our server today and she is so amazing. She was incredibly friendly and my daughter had fun talking with her. Apple gave us plenty of time to review our options and answered all the questions I had about the menu. She really brightens up the place and makes you feel at home. Our food came in a timely manner and all the items came one by one but with very short arrival times between them so we got to eat together. Apple checked on us a great amount of times to make sure we got what we needed and brought us the little extras we asked for quickly. They even celebrated my birthday even though it was a couple days after. You really feel cared for here. We used to be addicted to the Giraffe Ramen location in Long Beach and would order various times in the week. I'm so glad to see them come up and expand their restaurant to include a dine in area. Pricing is fair and the taste incredible. With a lot of ramen places, its hard to get what you pay for, but HERE, you get a lot more. Pro tip: ask for a container as soon as youre done eating so your ramen doesnt get taken away. I learned the hard way

I went to the pickup location and found out it's a ghost kitchen which I'm totally fine with. Went in and picked up my order. Inside has lockers and a window which I picked up my order from. The lady didn't say anything just looked at my order on my phone and handed it to me. It was packaged nicely and had everything I needed in the bag. It was pretty spicy yet very flavorful. Good portion of noodles which is always the one thing I run out of first with ramens. I'd definitely order again when I have a ramen craving!

I got the vegetable miso ramen with spice level 2. It wasn't too spicy but I could also do without it because it was more of a numbing rather than flavorful spice. The regular noodles are a little thin but they're plentiful! There was a part that was kind of clumped together in my soup though. The broth was more just savory and salty but nothing really stood out as miso or anything different. I appreciate that they have a fair amount of bok choy and bean sprouts. And the tofu was really good too! It was covered in tempura so was almost agedashi-like but they only did give 2 pieces. Our waiter, Hector, was helpful, kind and continually attentive so shoutout to him! Prices are reasonable for ramen too. Glad I got to try!

Cucumber salad was the only fresh/light vegetable option on the menu. Decent but nothing to write home about. Ramen had solid flavor. I like that you can pick your spice level. The pork was fatty and delicious. I wish they put less noodles. I did order the thick ones which cost a bit more but the ratio was WAYY off. My bowl was 75% noodles which didn't leave room for much soup and the fillings were lost in the mix. I had enough left overs for a full second serving - so great to share!
