Finally got a chance to try this place! Ever since I started loving ramen Silverlake Ramen definitely comes up on my top searches and this was the closest one to my home so I was waiting for it to open. I will say this is a great location because it's pleasant to sit outside and you have the NohoWest plaza to run any errands you might have. Staff were great here, very nice and laid back, they gave great recommendations. The ramen here was good, it's definitely a solid spot in LA, but definitely not on my top list or anything amazing. Why I gave it 3 stars is for everything else outside the ramen. Their bao bun was the worst bao bun we've ever had, we each took one bite and left it, and their dumplings were honestly one of the worst as well (looks good, but it's deceiving). If I would come back, it would be for the convenience of location, for the ramen, and to potentially try other items like their spicy tuna crispy rice. I've only been here one time though so maybe a second visit would be better, worth a try in my opinion.

Truffle ramen

Came to this place on a Wednesday at noon. Pretty quiet time, so service was fast. I was interested in the truffle ramen. Overall, it was pretty good. I usually prefer thin noodles but think noodles were pretty good too. Broth tastes great - right balance between tonkotsu and truffle flavor. Side of corn is already great

It has been YEARS since I've visited a silver lake Ramen, and honestly they seem to have popped up everywhere! I was beyond excited when I saw that they were building one in the noho marketplace! We can either walk here on a nice day or drive, since there is plenty of parking available. My go to order is the shoyu on fire, and I add Tofu to it. I've tried both the mild and medium, and honestly the mild is honestly pretty spicy! So it's a great option for those that need to clear their sinuses. I love that you get seated by staff, rather than ordering first and then finding a seat. Service is fast and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall great Ramen and great service!

This was a nice place. Nice presentable dining area, the service was friendly and professional. The food was excellent, I ordered my favorite, the large chicken Karaage Bowl with extra bowl of rice.

The only good thing here was the ramen bowl and the customer service. Spacious nice restaurant at the NoHo West. My son and I decided to have lunch here after months of seeing it everytime we were in the area. We ordered chicken gyoza for appetizer and all I tasted was the oil it was fried in. The chicken broth ramen was good so we both shared one bowl and finished it. We also ordered a chicken Karaage bowl to share but after one bite of the chicken we left it alone. It felt like eating a piece of rubber. Very bad quality meat. I can't describe it. Location is great, customer service is great Overall I would say come here for the ramen only ... specially on a cold rainy day.

Stopped by the new place in NoHo West on a week night. Plenty of tables so we were seated quick. A good stream of people came for takeout. We got the ramen combos which includes an appetizer with our bowl. The pork steam bun was tasty and the karaage was quite juicy. We tried the Cajun mazemen. Good "dry" noodle option with a seafood taste - kinda like the boil in a bag crab places. But the star is the ramen. We also got the classic ramen. Flavorful light ramen soup with crisp noodles and succulent pork chasu. Be aware the parking structure is now paid, but there is free parking under 90 mins.

The "Classic" Ramen was great!! I really enjoyed the flavors. Nice & creamy broth too. Service was good as well. They were attentive & accommodating. Ambiance was good. Enough seating for what seemed like for at least 50ppl.

Solid ramen spot in the Noho plaza. We ordered the combo where you can choose a ramen and it comes with an appetizer. We got the Blaze with Crispy Chicken Karaage and the Shoyu on Fire with Gyoza. The Blaze was a white creamy base, and Shoyu was clear stock with a nice acidity. They weren't overly salty and we chose pork belly for the meat. We tend to like chasu pork better. The appetizers were super hot and crispy. Giving 4 stars because it was good, but not blown away as it was super bright in there and service a bit slow to take our order. Didn't feel a cozy vibe like some other ramen places have, it felt like a chain. The soup came out fast though. Plenty of seating inside and a small patio outside with heaters.

So happy that there's a ramen spot finally down the street from me. I've been waiting for what has felt like forever for this place to open and it is! We accidentally walked in on their friends and family night and yet we were still attended to. I can see this place having a wait time/busy nights as there are 7/8 tables of 4-6 seats but there is patio seating which is great. They offer a combo- ramen and an appetizer for $21. Their spicy yuzu is lemony with a touch of jalapeño. Definitely my go to. This place is in great hands with Luis running it. He was so nice and attentive. He also runs the Downey location and van nuys. There were a few hiccups - ordered the combo but they forgot my gyozas and if it wasn't for Danny who wasn't our original server- making sure to stay on top of things who knows how our experience would have gone..but seriously very minor minor things. This place is going to thrive..especially with Danny providing the best (customer) service. Can't wait to come back, when they have settled in.

So glad this location is open!!!!! We love ordering take out from here. We have it timed to place our order, then shop at Trader Joe's, and the ramens ready to pick up once we are down. Good sized portions! The truffle ramen with pork is my fav!

Another new addition to the evolving NoHo West! I've dined at 2 different locations prior, however, this location's hospitality and ambiance is the best I've experienced! The restaurant was very modern and clean. There were plentiful seating options, with choices of inside and outside dinning. I also appreciated that the menu was displayed outside at the door entrance. Albert, and his servers today, gave stellar customer service and the food came out so swiftly. Heres what we ordered: Spicy tuna crispy rice - a perfect app to start your meal. The rice was perfectly fried. Fried dumplings - really crispy and generous filling inside. Chicken Karaage - a MUST order app! A lot of flavor, generous portion, and well fried texture. The aioli sauce added with some chili paste, makes the perfect dip to pair. Shoyu on Fire Ramen - my husband is not a huge fan of ramen, but he really liked the broth. He ordered it extra spicy and added more chilli paste on the side as well. The spice did not over-bare the flavor at all. It's a less heavy broth compared to the creamier ones. Blaze ramen - I love creamy and spicy broths when it comes to my ramen and Blaze hit the spot! I chose regular spice but ended up ordering extra paste on the side for more kick. I really liked how the pork stayed crispy while in the soup and how the egg was not at all over cooked. Churro ice cream - I mean, can you really go wrong? Refreshing order after a warm meal! All in all, I am happy with how close this location is to me and can easily get my ramen fix on colder days! Thanks again to Albert for his hospitality, which made the experience a lot more personal and better!

The ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, creamy broth, tender pork, perfectly cooked noodles, and a soft-boiled egg that was spot on. Everything tasted high-quality and thoughtfully prepared. Great food, great portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, definitely a place I'll keep coming back to when I go visit.

We ordered a chicken karaage to start and it wasn't bad, nothing to write home about though. Since the pieces were large, it was slightly awkward to eat without any plates, and I was just catching the crumbs with my hand (didn't have the ramens at the time). Also got a yuzu beer to try and it was delicious, nice yuzu flavor with some tanginess. I had the shoyu with duck while my husband had the yama tonkotsu that came with fragrant black garlic oil. The tonkotsu is not one of those rich, milky, creamy ones and I personally like these lighter ones more. I also enjoyed the shoyu which had a pleasant depth of flavor, but it felt like it was relying too heavily on MSG for umami. Noodles came out chewy. Definitely not the best ramens I've had but are some of the better ones in LA. Our server was friendly, as were the rest of the staff. Service was quick. The restaurant decor feels straight out of Japan, an extra bit of fun. There's a $10 paid lot behind this block of buildings that's convenient for anything in this part of Little Tokyo.

Dashi was VERY good. Generous amount of grated daikon. Assort. Tempura: Saw this being served while waiting. Looked really good and it WAS! Large shiitake mushroom. Fan cut Japanese eggplant, kabocha pumpkin, shrimp tempura & two (2) shiso leaves. All VERY crisp not oily. Warm dashi side had deep umami rich flavor. Probably made the legit kombu & bonita flake method. #1 ordered the Miso carbonara: garlicky carbonara served with their signature house-rolled out udon. Wonderful dish. Portion sizes were adequate. #2 ordered the Uni carbonara: same garlicky carbonara with uni bits strewn about. Estimating one whole uni broken. This actually works for ease of eating. Plus, uni ranges in the $18/oz on the low end to $60 or more/oz on the higher end. Yes we love & appreciate their gonads. Udon noodles were chewy, bouncy & worth the wait. Yeah yeah....the dough is purchased. Not house made. But, seriously you've seen the YouTube videos of restaurants specializing in Japan? Yes there are places in LA who make their dough & roll it out. It's Hella lot of work! Yamachan produces large scale udon/ramen in San Jose. It's fine. Let them work out the dough to water ratio. Also portion size was decent since we shared a couple apps. Might want to consider the option of extra noodles. The table to our right full of younger male co-workers were there to socialize. They probably all grabbed an afternoon snack. Next up was the omelette with gravy with fried rice that had both shrimp and pork. I feel the egg of the omelette was well made. It had that texture and consistency you would really want from an omelette of that nature. The pork and shrimp fried rice tasted a little light in the seasoning and flavor, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The gravy was also lighter than a heavy gravy as well. When the food came out, I thought the meal would be deeply heavy due to the quantity and the gravy, but it still felt a bit light and manageable, which was kind of outside of my expectations, so that was pretty interesting. I do like the chicken soup this comes with. It has a nice flavorful broth where you could tell it was made well too. The service here is pretty good and attentive.
