We have been regulars for years but will need to reconsider. It started well. Our spring rolls came out fast. Tasted fresh. Only one person received their pho. By the time he was nearly done, the rest of us were still waiting for our entree/appetizers. When we asked, they said they lost the ticket item, then said they were short staffed? There was no true apology, no attempt to rectify the situation, and still had the nerve to charge us for the full cost. We had to take the item to go. We asked them to comp the entree that we couldn't eat at the table together. The server made no attempt to help us. Then we flagged an older lady, who said it would be comped. I usually tend to add Sriracha to my phos due to the broth being not as flavorful, but Simply Pho has perfected their broth to excellent flavor. The homemade lemonade is a must try! They gave us free dessert after as well. The food itself wasn't special. The pho soup was fine, but the toppings were a little sparse. In my 30+ years of eating pho, I've never had sliced beef like what I had tonight. The meat was tough, full of gristle and thick. I threw away most of the meat because they are not edible. It's like chewing leathers. My husband had shaken filet mignon. The flavor was good. However, the meat tasted like a mixture of some filet mignon pieces and other cuts. I came here for dinner with my date since we were in the area. Upon entering, the restaurant is very spacious, and there were a lot of tables, boots, and even a bar style seating area. The server seated us, and we took a look at the menu. The menu has a variety of foods to choose from such as appetizers, pho, vermicelli and meat, and even rice dishes. Me and my date ordered spring roll to share, and my date ordered pho, and I ordered the vermicelli with pork. The pho came out first, then the spring rolls, and then it took a while for my vermicelli and pork plate to come out, which is understandable because it takes time to cook the meat. As I was waiting, I had some of my dates soup, and it was very flavorful. I even got my vermicelli and meat as I was eating my food, I was not satisfied with the pork as majority of the meat was all fat and hard to chew/bite. I should've returned it, but I just ate what I could and took the rest home. The spring roll was good, but as you continue eating it, the rice paper tends to get dry and hard, which makes it chewy. I would come back here if I was ever in the area, but I'm sure I could find better. Maybe I just didn't order the right food. read more
