Came here with friends, and I had a pretty good experience. I got #3 pho and egg rolls. I thought the pho was pretty good but a little pricey. Really enjoyed the egg rolls! After a long day shopping in the OC we were hungry. Glad we found Simply Pho on Yelp. Our navigation had us cutting through a CVS parking lot to an area outside with less hustle and bustle so we thought. The restaurant was loud and the ate inside crisp. A good combo of families, couples on dates of all ethnicities joyously enjoying their food. Our server was prompt, and based on other people's reviews I decided to try Pho Seafood- the broth was fragrant And the portion of noodles perfect. V got the taste steak combo... I do not remember the second meat. We also split fried tofu. V also got a Thai Iced Tea. We were both pleasantly surprised it was not made with the fluorescent jug of goop found at smart and final. I came here for dinner with my date since we were in the area. Upon entering, the restaurant is very spacious, and there were a lot of tables, boots, and even a bar style seating area. The server seated us, and we took a look at the menu. The menu has a variety of foods to choose from such as appetizers, pho, vermicelli and meat, and even rice dishes. Me and my date ordered spring roll to share, and my date ordered pho, and I ordered the vermicelli with pork. The pho came out first, then the spring rolls, and then it took a while for my vermicelli and pork plate to come out, which is understandable because it takes time to cook the meat. As I was waiting, I had some of my dates soup, and it was very flavorful. I even got my vermicelli and meat as I was eating my food, I was not satisfied with the pork as majority of the meat was all fat and hard to chew/bite. I should've returned it, but I just ate what I could and took the rest home. The spring roll was good, but as you continue eating it, the rice paper tends to get dry and hard, which makes it chewy. I absolutely love this pho spot, the pho itself always taste great, I love the broth and the noodles don't taste all stale , they actually taste pretty good. The place seems very clean which is what I like because my old pho spot lost me as a customer once I spotted their kitchen floor full of noodles and food that's when I made the switch to this spot, and it has NOT disappointed since I started coming, my daughter loves this place too, she gets a bit frustrated at moments when it is busy and they take a bit to bring her pho lol. The shrimp spring rolls are sooo good too I love those and the peanut sauce with them pairs so delish! First and last visit. ---Bun #41 ($15): The pork was TERRIBLE. Chunks of hard overcooked pork (hard like jerky) held together by fat and sinew. About a third of the pork went in the trash as it was either just fat or too hard to chew. The Vermicelli was overcooked with little texture and the do chua was bland, and there wasn't much of it. The fish sauce vinegar mix was serviceable. Worst bun I've had hands down. ---Bun #44 ($16): had equally bad pork, so it wasn't a fluke. The shrimp were also overcooked. ---Garlic Noodle #46 ($11): we ordered this meatless, just garlic noodles. It was garlicky but needed salt to balance it out. Noodles were slightly overcooked. ---Nem Nuong Cuon #A3 ($8): this was decent. No comparison to Brodard in it's heyday, but OK still. Too much lettuce though. It worked against the smaller "sausage" slice. Ultimately, I guess don't order pork, and you may get a mediocre meal read more

I dined at the Simply Pho in Orange between my MD appointments. I was pleasantly surprised to find another branch. This location is across the street from, CHOC. As usual, the restaurant was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and super busy since I arrived during lunch rush hour for all the offices close by. Despite having a lot of patrons at that time, my food came out timely quickly in my opinion, and I was able to get out of there and back to work without being late.
