My boyfriend and I decided to try their fried rice because we constantly order the same thing here and in all honesty? It was delicious! They added a generous amount of beef to the dish. I honestly thought it was great. Their lemonade straight up tastes like lemons were truly used (we have a lemon tree and it reminds me of my dad's lemonade.) Highly recommend the food here. The environment here is so cozy. I absolutely love coming here at night because the interior is lit up by some string lights wrapping around the restaurant. Great family friendly spot and an excellent date spot. The service? It felt awkward coming in. The 3 people at the counter just stood there staring at us I'm like so do I just go pick a seat or something haha. Eventually the person who would be our actual server showed us to our table and was one of those "I'm here to get things done" kinda workers. Daisy let us know the kitchen doesn't accommodate menu customizations, so we got creative and ordered everything on the side. It worked out, though it ended up costing about the same as a kids' pho for what amounted to a simple substitution. Outside of that, the experience was excellent, the restaurant was clean, the service was top-notch, and the menu had a solid variety to choose from. The lack of flexibility with customization is the only reason I'm not giving five stars, but I'd still recommend Mama Hong's without hesitation.

(The tea by the way was very refreshing.) Now, this was my first time here but I never saw anyone come out to check the dining room or wipe down the tables after the lunch rush. Now, I think Rol its sister restaurant has taken its popularity but overall I would say Sup has never disappointed me in all of its years in opening. High quality food with a fair price and though they don't advertise it anymore, the unlimited noodles is still one of the best parts about eating here. I would say the only thing about SUP, is unlike its sister restaurants, it doesn't have as much of a rotating menu and their limited/seasonal items are a bit hit or miss (personally). But I don't mind because I think their base menu doesn't need much straying.
