This place is great. Just found it a couple weeks ago and have eaten here three times already. I get the build your own wrap. I love the options they have for add-in's. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. I really love that they toss everything before wrapping the tortilla so each bite has all the flavors (instead of layering). I wanted to love this place but probably wouldn't return. I got the Thai wrap and it fell apart immediately after being cut in half. It was a super mess. I got a wrap for ease of eating so not off to a great start when I have to dump everything into a bowl. Service wasn't that great yet you're prompted to tip 18/20/25%. I don't even think someone even said hello to us. My husband ordered the El Jefe but wanted to swap the salmon out for chicken. They said that was doable then made him a salmon wrap anyways. There was one other patron in the store while we were there. So while these items might feel knit picky, it's not like they were slammed. Also they are charging a 75 cent fee if you want romaine. Even in wraps. There's options to swap it out so you can avoid the fee but kind of ridiculous. read more

All the toppings looked fresh and the lettuce was crisp. I just put a mesh of things in my salad. They add dressing to the salad or on the side and chop it up right in front of you. First time here tonight. I ordered my wife the Hipster. The salad looked great! However...Let's just say it did her dirty. Abdominal cramps, vomiting and fatigue. It kicked in about 2 hours after her meal. I understand they have been in business for over 15 years and I understand mistakes can be made given the food is fresh but it could be a number of things from cleanliness to cross contamination. Let's put it this way, from the reviews I have read I seem to get the idea that the staff you have there aren't the most friendly, which I'm gonna be honest, I did kind of catch that vibe. I mean it's young people maybe working in their first job to pay bills or whatever , so when it comes to cleanliness and food practices who knows if they're actually doing their job keeping that place clean and free from cross-contamination . who knows, but it suck's seeing my better half in so much pain. Since this is a new location, it does seem like they are on the slower side (I recommend ordering via the app) and they have no seating inside at the moment. Ok I know it's just salad but it's pretty good! I tried the Cesar salad and what I like about it is the customization aspect. I also love how they cut the Romain lettuce small and bite size because some places honestly cut them so big and it's just unappealing. Taste wise, it's really good. It's very fresh and it doesn't have that weird film that some to-go salads have. Very simple and there's many other options besides salads. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little disappointed, because in my entrepreneurial fantasy, I would have opened up Simply Salad before they did lol. I tried one of their signature salad wraps, went with the Steak-Out and it was delicious. Super fresh ingredients and every ingredient complemented the other extremely well. I tried some of my buddy's Cobb Salad and it was also delicious. This place is perfect if you're trying to eat Keto or Paleo or watch your carbs. The ordering process was fairly easy but I believe mostly because there wasn't that many people there, I wonder if it would be more confusing when really busy. will definitely find out soon as I'm sure this place will takeoff and I'll be back soon enough! I recently stopped by the Long Beach location of Simply Salad, and it was a great experience. I've been to some other locations and they have all been top notch. My favorite item is the Buff Salad. I'm a big ranch aficionado, and they have some of the best ranch I've ever eaten. I wish it was sold in kegs. The staff was friendly and attentive, it was very casual and clean. I was in the area and I thought " why not give this place a chance". In giving this feedback, I'm hoping the right person reads it to help improve the experience for future customers. 1. Walked in, no one greeted me. Simple fix that will go a long way. Customers want to be acknowledged. 2. There's no menu up behind the counter, we don't always have our phone to look up QR codes. Invest one time in a small menu board, shouldn't every restaurant have this? 3. When it was my turn to order, the guy behind the counter was not very friendly. People like this will truly kill a business. I asked him a question " What carbs can I add to my salad?" "His response "you can look inside our nutrition book with a list of options". I mean, why look inside your book when you can just tell me the options. Again, I'm giving this feedback hoping the owner can re train staff. I was told "no" it was a personal choice for the dressing. BOMB!!! My buddy went here recently and told me he spent $25 on his salad so I was super reluctant to try it. Yes it can definitely get pricey if you add a bunch of toppings but it probably would still be worth it because this was delicious! DO NOT GO HERE. Manager has no idea what she is doing. I came to pick up a salad, my order was given to soneone else as well as 3 other customers who were looking for their order. After the disaster there I contacted General manager who was going to refund me, never did after 2 weeks, then ssid it was thru grubhub, I would have to get a refund from them. They are next door to Starbucks and parking is plentiful. You walk into a very concrete urban clean look. Right away we were greeted and asked if we've been here before. There are 2 guys and 2 girls currently working. The one gentleman started explaining how it works. They have salmon, tuna, chicken, steak and sooo many options for toppings!!!! I love the options, but they were out of jicama tonight :-( My hubby got the Thai it up salad and I got a made to order. I mixed my greens, went meatless, and got my 5 toppings plus a couple of premium toppings with medium ranch. Upon paying our bill of $23. and some change, my hubby tried adding a custom tip, but it closed the bill on him. Got home with our salads and upon opening them I noticed I didn't get the 2 greens I chose. I only got the basic one. Without collecting a receipt, not sure if I was charged, but I think I probably was. The dressing amount is perfect and I'm enjoying my fresh salad! My hubby said the chicken is very dry and dense so he will definitely go back, but no chicken. We both like our salads and will be returning!!!! I love mine and highly recommend this place!!! I rarely leave reviews, but I want this place to thrive because I think we need more "healthy" late night food options! The food was great. The salad was a nice size (enough for two meals), and all the ingredients were balanced and mixed so well. I was shocked! Every bite was perfect. Just what you want a salad to be like! The service was good. The worker answered all my questions and was super helpful. My only complaint is that the place smelled intensely like raw fish as soon as I walked in. I hate seafood. And I'm a big "if this place smells bad I won't eat here" kinda gal. So the smell was definitely off-putting. The inside is kinda dead. No table or really places to sit, unless you're taking it to go. And The hummus didn't have an expiration date so I didn't buy it lol Overall, I really want this place to workout because it's nice to grab a salad or wrap after work/gym! read more
