I tried Sinbads for the first time today. I was in the area and happened upon it, and I'm so glad I stopped by. Everything about the the visit went above my expectations, starting with the service. Both team members were friendly and made recommendations to help us (myself and my boyfriend) decide. We debated getting a side of falafels and baba ghanouj, but decided against it. We settled on a chicken shawarma platter and a schwarmania sandwich. We watched everything made fresh for us, including a couple of falafels and a small side of baba ganouj, which were given to us for no charge for our first visit. Unfortunately we didn't take picture of our food, as it was so good, we devoured it. I'm incredibly pleased with our visit overall and will absolutely return and recommend! read more

I am questioning all these great reviews now. The food was overly seasoned with something funky tasting and the hummus tasted like tahini straight from the jar. It was thick like peanut butter, too. It also had some funky spices on it. I was headed to Mr. Gyros and opted to try this place instead. From now on, I'm sticking with Mr. Gyros. Great little middle eastern restaurant. I had lamb kabob. My girlfriend had the mazzah platter. Everything was uniquely flavorful even the salad. These guys took a chance and moved in 500 ft from Mr Gryos and, in my opinion, beat them. So if you're looking for an alternative this is your place. We stopped by instead of hitting our favorite taco Tuesday joint and were not disappointed. What a nice little place! Bright and fun inside with interesting art and sayings on the walls. Great food, very friendly staff! We ordered takeout and didn't wait too long for everything to be prepared. The chicken shawarma and lamb kabob were excellent! But the hummus was fantastic, some of the best and smoothest I've ever had. Only possible complaint: fries have a seasoning similar to Arby's fries. Which isn't a bad thing at all, but would prefer more hand seasoned fries. If that makes sense. Should change name from Sinbad's to Singood! read more
