I got there a little after 5pm so there was some parking behind the building. It filled up quickly though. The server/bartender was attentive and friendly. Overall good vibes. I ordered everything off the happy hour menu, both tacos and the wine. Wine was ok, it's decent. Nothing to rave about but a great pour for $5. Food: the chicken tinga tacos was about a 2 biter each, normally $8 but for $4 during happy hour, and it was flavorful and delish. My fat ass had to get the ahi Tostadas, 3 pieces for $9, it was so worth it! The flavor was rich and full of flavor. Definitely recommend it. I was still hungry, of course. Haha so I got the Papas Bravas, also $4 normally $6, i couldn't finish it. It had a great soft shell mini tortillas. Over all the food was decent. The food here was good! We had the papas bravas tacos, esquites, KBB crispy chicken wings, beef sliders, ahi tuna tostadas, and baby back ribs along with cocktails. While nothing was bad I definitely had my favorites because they were the most flavorful which were: the KBB wings and esquites. The combination of flavors were unforgettable and I'd definitely go back! The wings are sweet and spicy while the esquites tastes like esquites but there is spice as well and I loved it! The drinks we had were the Henny Coco which I'm not a huge fan of Hennessy but there's coconut in the drink and it's creamy, tropical, and delicious! Next we tried Devil in a dress which was a lychee focused drink and it was tasty! Last tried the lemon smash (their version of a lemon drop) which was tasty! None of the drinks were weak lol As far as service it was great! Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The ambiance was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating (no heaters) and a hookah lounge next door. The bartender was very attentive & friendly...AND amazingly conscientious about not interrupting our girls' night out conversation while still magically noticing whenever we might need anything. There's an area in Culver City on Sepulveda between Culver and Braddock that isn't exactly known for its drinking/dining (no offense to Swanya Thai or Pho Show). Sip & Savor is new on the block and has both food and a small bar ~ Walked in early on a Saturday and got right to the bar and was happy to find out that happy hours exist on weekends too! Mexican/Korean fusion tapas with a little bit of everything to try and all at smart prices. The owner, Andrew, walked us through his recommendations and we were off to the races Beef sliders were great with their house slaw and even better on a Hawaiian roll The hit of the night was the KBB Crispy Chicken Wings that were perfectly sweet, and we couldn't get enough of the avocado cream along with it. Sorry no pictures as I ate them too quickly... The portions are small even for tapas, but it gives you a chance to try multiple things and you won't break the bank. If I had a small complaint, they could improve on their beer selection and support the locals. We'll definitely be back soon to hit some more of the menu ... We live just a block and a half away and have been meaning for weeks to give Sip and Savor a try, and we are so glad we did. Hannah took such good care of us .... was attentive without being intrusive (plus, just a great personality that made us feel like we have known her forever). She made some great food recommendations and they were all spot on. Small bites, but not so small that we ended up leaving hungry. The jalapeño margarita she made was delicious and the house wine I had was good as well. We sat outside, but can't wait to come back and sit at the cozy bar. Despite us both living in Culver City most of our life, we hadn't heard of this place, but decided to give it a try. We were blown away by our accidental trip to this place (which apparently just soft opened). The food was fantastic, reasonably priced and fast.
