This is the best coffee shop in the Arcadia area! Maybe even all of Phoenix. I normally come here to read or work on my laptop, any time of the day is great. Their coffee is good and anything I have eaten here has been phenomenal. They also have 24 craft, rotating beers on tap and there is always something interesting to try. The staff is always friendly, the music is always good, and they have different specials everyday. 10/10 recommend! read more

Went for brunch and a drink on Sunday. Live music was a pleasant surprise. Female singer whose vibe was chill and perfect for a Sunday morning. $5 Bloody Mary's and screwdrivers. And they were worth it. Strong pours, excellent spice to the Mary. It was great to watch the bartender take such care with his drinks. Split the BYO omelet. Bacon and Tomato. They forgot the cheese, but it didn't need it. The bacon was thick cut and the omelet was tasty. The potatoes are cut huge and are quite salty, so if you're sensitive you might want to ask for no/less salt. We will definitely be coming back here. Got a latte to go and it was delicious. Fresh roasts, perfect temperature and good price. There's outdoor seating, WiFi and lots of space. This is a great place for the start of a Sunday Funday or to recover after a fun Saturday night. read more

I need to visit Sip Coffee & Beer another time as I don't think I got the full experience during my first time there. Met up with friends for happy hour drinks, and service was a little lacking, and I was never notified that a) there was happy hour by anyone working there, or b) which items on the wall menu were happy hour, until a friend pointed out the TINY markings next to the name. A little bummed that the bartender suggested the most expensive beer on the menu, and did NOT mention HH, or suggest any other beers. Granted I did mention I was open to a suggestion since Im not a beer snob or anything. Food was ok, and I was able to get a few items on the HH menu to share with friends. The space use to be an oil change garage service building, so you see some of the old reminisce of what was once there, and there is ample parking behind the building, and outdoor seating, that unfortunately looks out into the boring parking lot. Id come back to try the coffee... one of these days. and maybe then I'd update my review to reflect that experience as well. read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: Came here late on a Tues night to mooch wifi, stood infront of the door where it says "order here" for a few mins before one of the three baristas came over and asked me to come around to the other side of the bar to order (uhhhh, okay why have a sign there then?" Bought a chocolate peanut butter shake with protein and went to set up my laptop etc a few feet away. Barista made my drink and MAYBE called it out (it was too loud inside) but she left it on the counter for a good 8 mins before I went up and asked if it was mine. We made eye contact SEVERAL times beforehand and it was my way of saying "uh hey, it's been a while, where's my drink?" But she never gave me any indication that it was ready or that there was one on the counter made for me. Needless to say, it was a mediocre beverage. Very chalky. Not "fresh" at all. Not just that but they are not welcoming or friendly. And one other customer agreed with me that the baristas were VERY snotty. Aside from that, it's a cool spot, in a hip area, the music is pretty inline with what I like (I didn't mind that it was a bit club-level loud) and I heard that there is a speak-easy downstairs that gets pretty packed (from the same customer who said the barista were snotty). Will have to check it out another time (when I'm not in homework-mode) cause I like things like that.. DEFINTELY enjoy the Sip on Goldwater WAY better. They have better baristas and mic nights are awesome. read more

I just wanted to give Sips Team a huge shoutout. Sip is my favorite place to go work on my design business! I love their green tea with agave and occasionally a cider corps! But today Moe really went above and beyond! I had ordered a salad and for some reason it just tasted sour, was probably just me but I wasn't the biggest fan. As I was leaving I mentioned it to Moe! He immediately apologized and gave me a full refund for the salad and my tea!! He was so kind to do that! If you haven't already been, GO! The customer service, coffee, pastries, & etc. is TOP NOTCH! Good cold brew and tea selection. A bit loud with how it's set up but overall a nice environment. Staff was friendly and engaging.

Was excited to try this place from the reviews, but my experience was not very good. I waited about 10 minutes to order before the staff acknowledged my existence. If I was not meeting someone there I would had just left. I ordered a protein smoothie and avocado toast that was really overpriced for what I received. I am a regular at SIP. The beer menu is really good and the vibe is fun. I use SIP as second office so I am a fan. However, I had a pretty negative experience today. I ordered an iced coffee with an extra shot. The cost was $7.50 with tax and a 15% tip. I think that price is RIDICULOUS and out of step with the market. I don't know what management or the owner are thinking, but when your coffee is substantially more than your beer you have a problem. I will go back, but not for coffee. read more

When you walk in it has a cool feel however, I stood at the counter on a Sunday afternoon when it wasn't even that busy for at least 10 minutes not ever once getting any eye contact or service so I walked out. Hands down the best coffee I have had in PHX . My business won't be taking me there for a couple months but when I return in December... look out I'll be heading there every day in town!! They have a drive thru!! I'm normally anti drive thru but when I'm on a conference call.. and can get my coffee simultaneously... I'm happy !!! What a little gem of a coffee shop! The first time I came here was for Undertow but I recently have been calling Sip my new study sanctuary. It's perfect to be able to come in and get a breakfast sandwich and latte and post up with my computer and write endless research papers. Once it's happy hour though it's time to grab a beer to keep the creative juices flowing. The atmosphere is typical Arcadia hipster with an eclectic music selection and crowd. My only complaint is they seem to frequently be out of some ingredients for what I want to order. Otherwise if you're in the mood for good coffee, good food, and a bustling environment this is your spot! read more

Right off the bat I need to say this is just not my kind of place so my review is more than a little tainted by that. The place is clean, really popular, and the millennial that insisted on meeting me there seemed to like it. So from here on out consider the source of this review. First, I will drink coffee at Denny's, and McDonalds but my favorite is Arioso coffee from Arbuckles in Tucson. The coffee at Sip is terrible, I threw it out. But again, a packed house was all drinking coffee and ordering refills so what do I know. We did not order food so I cannot comment on that. It was 2:00pm and very few others had food either. The music was not terrible but it was too loud in there to really hold a conversation. The person we met wanted to sit outside but it was 50 degrees outside so I declined that. Parking is treacherous because there is not enough of it and those of us with a full size SUV don't have much room to maneuver. All in all I am older and Millennials annoy me so this is really not a place I would go back to, BUT, as i said it was packed at 2:00 pm so a whole bunch of people loved it. Just a note on restaurants like this - the point of a restaurant is to sell food and beverages and keep turning the tables to seek new customers who are buying. This restaurant is full of a lot of young people with their laptops having a cup of coffee and nothing else while they manage their social media and perhaps work. You had one job! Everything bagel, that's it. No butter, no cream cheese. What do I get, a plain bagel globbed with Cow teet curds spread on top. I think the only downfall of this place was the prices. $10 for a breakfast burrito is a little crazy. It's my first time in Arizona. I'm traveling with my husband and best friend and we got here wayyyyy earlier than the rest of our group. Finding a place to go eat was a challenge but by the time we ate, Sip was open. We were right across the street and wow I'm so glad we came here! Overall I really enjoyed my experience at Sip. The atmosphere was excellent and the underground tiki bar is pretty neat. I also found the staff really nice and they let me take some pictures for a school assignment. Only problem was the food isn't out of this world, the chilaquiles had some good flavor but not sure I would recommend anything else yet. read more
