I got the crispy pork and my nephew got the brisket. They looked a bit on the small side when we first got them. I was worried it might not be enough for the big fella, but it ended up being the perfect size! I almost couldn't finish the last two bites and I'm an eater. Lol! We had their passion fruit drink and it was yummy! I did ask for 50% less sugar. I think I could've even done 75% less. (Trying to kick sugar to the curb.) I got a bag of espresso beans that they're carrying right now, starts with an F (threw away the bag already). A local roaster and it is very good. My espresso shots are divine! The guy there said that they change it up, I believe, every few weeks or every month. Something to note, the place is a bit small so if you want to sit and eat, come with just one or two people. Hopefully, they'll be able to expand the space somehow bc honestly, I could've just hung out there for hours. This is going on my "Cravings Satisfied" List. PARKING: Parked one neighborhood street behind the restaurant and it was pretty easy.

I ordered two breakfast burritos: one with crispy pork belly and one with brisket. Both were solid. What makes the burrito great is its structural integrity. The flour tortilla is chewy but slightly flaky from being grilled. It's the right thickness that keeps all of its ingredients together: crispy tater tots, soft scrambled eggs, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli. It was the perfect size to keep me satiated and I only wish it came with more salsa. Both proteins were good and I'd come back to try the other ones. I ordered an iced vanilla latte to pair with it and for some reason it came very foamy and tasted more chocolate-y in some way? There were some notes of something that was not vanilla. It wasn't bad by any means, but surprising, since vanilla is typically pretty simple. The food came out in 10 minutes after ordering and there were plenty of tables available outdoors. The inside was a bit cramped and most tables were occupied. Parking is all on the street so it can be hard but it's worth it.

Crispy pork breakfast burrito. The only thing crispy was the tater tots, not the pork. Overall was just better than average.

I find the syrup rly good, a little nutty chocolatey, but some may find it too strong and bitter, possible burnt taste. I find it good, but bc it's a concentrated flavor I can see others not being a big fan. The sakura mochi is rly good! Very floral flavor and I liked it a lot, but the texture of the mochi was a bit off. I think it's bc I went around 8pm (an hour before they close) so the mochi was probably not as fresh as it could be, but that's on me. The location is shared with a boba tea place (yi fang) so if you wanted ice cream and boba as a late night treat, perfect opportunity!! That's why my sibling and I like to come here for a sweet treat variety and they have some nice seating around. It's also the arts district so it's nice to just walk around the area as well to chat with whoever ur with. I usually get street parking, but allegedly you can park in the the apt structure and get parking validation for 2 hrs (?)

Well...the experience turned out to be a big disappointment. I won't be returning. - The girl who served us, didn't make us feel welcome. Their Matcha soft serve is extremely better. The Hokkaido Milk soft serve had an artificial after taste. - Beware, their soft serve is a complete rip off. It's hollow on the inside.

The chicken stays crispy for a long time and reheats nicely as leftovers. Everything we've ordered is really good and crave-worthy. We got the lucky catsu, curry catsu, crispy shrimp, spam masubi, catsu masubi, orange chicken, crispy chicken. Top two favorites are lucky and curry catsu. Small things I'd personally wish to change is that the onion is too strong in the macaroni salad. Wish it wasn't in there period. And the rice is a little on the dryer side and it sticks to the container- so when you scrape up the last bits of rice, you could be eating the paper from the container. I like that they use compostable containers though!! But yeah the rice is on the harder side especially as leftovers. But whatever, their main items are bomb and makes me not care about anything else. Service is quick! Note: it is not a sit down restaurant. You order (ahead) and park on the street and call them to let them know you're outside. They'll bring the food out. Reception isn't great outside fyi. I've been here 3 times and never last long enough to get a photo before digging in. There are two other vegan restaurants right next to it, same concept - order and pick up. When I tell you I have never written a review right after a meal, you know this place must be …read more I've heard the hype about this place and let me tell you, the raves are warranted. I read a review that stated this pizza place was now their fave pizza and I must admit, I'm on that bandwagon as well. Let me just tell you that for me, the sauce is what makes this pizza. I have never tasted a pizza sauce where you can taste fresh tomatoes. Al pizza sauce tastes the same, but this one is noteworthy. The pizzas are also made from sourdough, so for us sourdough lovers, this is a yummy treat. As you saw above, I did a split pizza. I love pepperoni pizza with pickled jalapeños and the hot honey just took this combo to the next level. For all of you basic bitches out there that think honey on pizza is gross, try it - you will forever be adding that to your pizza. Btw, this combo is not going to set your tastebuds on fire so don't fret. I got my pizza at the El Sereno Night Market. There's plenty of parking. My tip is to park at the post office. The vendor will accept ApplePay. Don't sit on this vendor and get yourself a pie at their next pop up (find them on Insta).

During my Smorgasburg visit, they had five kinds of pizza: al pastor, spiceroni, pepperoni, tri-colore, and margherita. Slices start at $5 and a 14" pie starts at $28. Al pastor pizza ($7): BBQ smoked al pastor sausage, mozzarella, pineapple, onion, cilantro, & salsa verde on a blue corn sourdough crust. The toppings were fantastic - so flavorful, moist al pastor sausage slices, an excellent tangy, spicy salsa. I wasn't as crazy about the crust. It was thin and chewy, with little rise (no puffy edges) or crisp edges. Parts of the crust tasted burnt. The slice was also small and thin. I couldn't tell that it was a sourdough or corn crust. They had a large brick pizza oven to make pies on the spot and smaller ovens to heat slices. Or are they making pizza by the slice? I'm not sure. I didn't have to wait too long for my slice.
