My son paid $5.95+tax for my wings & shrimp fried rice box here tonight. 4 measly wings. lots of rice, soggy, flavorless and nothing seasoning it except 8 tiny shrimp and a little bit of onions. The last time I ordered here was a quart of wonton soup, several years ago. I was so disenchanted. The soup was obviously made from instant soup mix or bouillon and the flavor was HORRIBLE. I called to complain, and suddenly the overly friendly, chatty counter lady couldn't understand my English. Don't even get me started on how they use friendly banter, name-recall flattery and large portions of their tasteless fried rice under a measly few pieces of vegetable & meat to seduce large numbers of high school kids into believing that they're getting a good deal. This is our FAVORITE Chinese takeout in Bergen County, with excellent sushi to go. They are very busy but Gina always remembers your name and is very friendly. We have never eaten in the sit-down area of the restaurant, but have ordered from both the Japanese and Chinese menu. We have never had a complaint. The only thing that I wish they did better were the fried chicken wings - tends to be on the dry side and it's still a little unnerving to see feathers/hair still stuck on the end of the wing. First of all, they said it would take an hour for delivery and it came in about 45 minutes. The delivery man insisted that I sign the receipt in the hallway because he didn't want me to be cold outside. Talk about A+ customer service! The food was great. I got 2 spicy tuna rolls, a side salad, and a shrimp tempura roll -- all terrific. They certainly don't skimp on the fish which a lot of sushi spots do. My boss's dynamite roll was HUGE and was also tasty (according to him). I'm waiting to hear what my other coworker thinks of the spicy California roll. But lately, it has been hit and miss - with more miss - Just because you add sauce to dried out boneless ribs doesnt make them anything but dried leather with sauce. And with a large party order they really screwed it up - not following directions and sending Boneless Ribs that would give leather material a run for its' money. The next time they came to deliver, two days later, I gave back the leather boneless ribs and the delivery man said "oh, no charge for this order today.' I explained that I told the owner on the phone I was giving the awful food back - so when the man said "today for free" - I said - "what free?
