But the real reason I am giving it 4 stars was because of our waiter Marcos. He was very attentive and had a very outgoing personality. i went there with a good friend of mine and we were greeted and felt comfortable. However, when the food was ordered it did not have the same caliber as the customer service. The salad bar was nice but i felt it was a little too pricey, There are only two kinds of fruit and no ice cream. As far as meat there was only chicken and meat balls. The only thing that i thought was worth eating was the pomegranate salad and the chicken. Everything else was so so not great. I ordered a steak with broccoli and my friend ordered steak with potatoes. My broccoli was good but my steak was a little tough. I also do not like that they do not offer discounts from AAA. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for a waiter/waitress to handle a large group. Yesterday 9 of sat down for a meal at Bellflower and our waitress Rosy did an amazing job accommodating and serving us until we were finished with our meal. I think the highlight of our time was being served by someone who took care of us with a warm smile. It certainly made the trip worth while (the food was awesome too). The restaurant looks amazing and the modifications made to the salad bar were great. My family and I have been coming here for years and our experiences here have been exceptional. It was a pleasure to see familiar faces such as our waitress Nancy who we recognized from our previous visits to the restaurant. Nancy constantly checked up on our table to make sure our food was the right temperature and that we were taken care of which made us feel welcomed again. We all ordered different dishes and my favorite was the classic trio which came with malibu chicken, steak, and shrimp. I am looking forward to our next family dinner here! I haven't been to sizzler in many years but a friend of mine who passed away loved Sizzler so we decide to go there in memory of her and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the food, it was very good and the salad was excellent I did not have dessert but maybe one day when I go back to I will have dessert. read more

The place got some renovations and it looks nice. Our server Jessica was very attentive and got us our favorite cheese breads right away. Only 4 stars were given instead of 5 because my "8-9 oz steak" was definitely less than that. It was the tiniest steak I have ever gotten here at Sizzler. I was eating some of my daughter salad and here come the waitress police to let me know if I wanted some salad I needed to purchase it. Umm Excuse me! I can't have some of my daughter salad? your watching my mouth that close. So after that I just sent my food and the salad back with her. That was so unnecessary. This sizzler is recently remodeled, very clean, and friendly staff. They have a nice lady tossing salads which was a nice new touch. The prices went up a little and there wasn't a managers special like in past, which was disappointing, but the food was good, had the salad bar which was fresh with a good variety. I wasn't a fan of sizzler, until now. Have been to many of them; ever since I was a little girl. This location has great chefs (food was on point), and great customer service. Our service since the moment we walked in (the cashier was very patient and friendly). Our server Marcos went above and beyond. Tonight, 12/30/17, we encountered a line to order, but it moved quickly. Getting a table was quick and efficient. We were seated in JESSICA'S section, and quite happily so! I drove up to the Bellflower Sizzler and the owners were there with their contractor. They were remodeling and toured me through the restaurant where by their vision was shared of what the finish Bellflower Remodel Sizzler will look and feel like along with all the money spent on new plumbing, electrical and more that what most can appreciate, however the owner and contractor expects that this Extreme Remodel will raise the level of the expected dining experience above and beyond what will be expected after they are back serving the community. I came there to be fed and I was fed a lot of vision. It appears that they will enhance and launch this Sizzler concept into the future. I know from past visits that the sizzler team were really about pleasing people. I see where it stems from now. Thanks to the owners and contractor for inviting me in and caring enough to inform me of why Sizzler could not serve me today. I understand that Sizzler plans on being around for many years through hearing their passion for remodeling for their guests comfort and needs.
