From the moment we were seated, Marcos greeted us with a genuine smile and such a friendly, welcoming attitude. He was attentive without being overbearing, making sure our drinks were always full, our food came out perfectly, and that we had everything we needed. What stood out most was how thoughtful he was--checking in at just the right moments and making sure we felt taken care of the entire time. His positive energy truly made our meal even better. I usually come to this sizzler w my parents & today we got thee BEST service from our waiter MARCOS! Our drinks were always full! Our salad bar plates were always replenished & clean! The cheese bread was warm & he was sooooo attentive. Ive been to sizzlers before but THIS visit was one to stand out because of HIM! PLEASE recognize his hard work & friendliness because now a days service like the one he shows is literally non existent. I can tell he loves his job & strives to be the best! The food stays the same, with the only thing changing is the steaks keep getting smaller and the prices keep going up! $72 fricking dollars for two of us to eat at sizzler this time. Really? It used to be Sizzler was the go to for "Let's go grab a bite" ... not anymore. Now it's when I am really craving a salad bar and the wife doesn't care where we go. Because frankly, if we're both wanting steak we just throw $10 bucks more at it and eat where the steaks are better, larger, and the atmosphere is much more pleasant. read more

This location is my local neighborhood, Sizzler. It's the location our family would frequent over the past 30 plus years. My husband and I went this past Sunday to have dinner at this Bellflower location, a day after I had dinner with friends at the Carson location. My meal was so delicious that I wanted to have it one more day. Well, this location didn't deliver it all. We were greeted by the cashier as we stepped up to put in our order. I did not like how the cashier handled the customers money before us, then served us, touching our plates, soup, bowls, and dessert bowls. I believe they should use hand sanitizer between customers. At the Carson store, the plates and bowls are at the designated salad bar areas. The cashier only handles the silverware which is wrapped up in a napkin and the cups. You fill your own cups with preferred beverages at that store. It was disappointing to see the manager, walking around frowning, and the assistant manager visiting one table, making a fuss over the family, who sat there... Passing up a filled to capacity restaurant full either diners. it would've been nice to see her speak to other diners as she went back to her office. The salad bar was clean, but did not have all of the items at the Carson location at. Yes, the Carson store messed it up for our regular hometown store. My husband had the ribeye medium with the added salad bar. He said his steak was excellently prepared. I just did the salad bar with the crafted strawberry lemonade, and was disappointed that they didn't have the items the other store has. Also, the attendant never asked me if I wanted to refill. ...and did I mention they water down the clam chowder. :-( We will take the trip to Carson if we ever have a taste for Sizzler moving forward. read more

The ambience was tasteful, although the music can be lowered so that we could hear ourselves share a conversation with our company without having to be louder than the music. Haven't been to Sizzler in 20 years and it's still as good as I remembered. Wife ordered the NY strip, I got a ribeye, both also ordering the salad bar, and kids salad bar for my daughter. The strip was cooked perfectly and my ribeye was slightly over my preferred doneness but I did not mind so did not send it back. Our daughter loved the spaghetti and ended up refilling on that twice. Ended with some soft serve and bellies full! Salad bar was clean and everything appeared fresh. I was disappointed to see that they do not have the mini potato stick fries that I remembered loving when I was a child. Good service, mediocre food. Had the Malibu chicken, was not good. Breaded chicken patty (more like cheap Tyson chicken) with a piece of ham and melted Swiss cheese, followed by dijon mustard. Would had been better with grilled chicken breast. Steak was tough and not well proportioned, the 9 oz looked like a 4 oz. Kids got salad bar and did not like the chicken. They complained said it was, "weird shaped and tasted gross". They missed the chicken dinos. About the salad bar, they never refill the croutons container, all they have are old crumbs. Good selection of greens. Veggies and salad are fresh. Cheese bread is delicious. They serve coke products which is good. Kind and attentive servers. I guess it's a hit or miss. read more
