The cashier was very nice, and so was the server. That's pretty much it. Granted, we were a group of 20 that came in a half hour before closing, which I normally don't do. In fact, I wouldn't have done that if I wasn't forced to be with said group. Honestly, my friend got the buffet and I really, really should have just ordered a burger for less money, but I dished out $15 for a crappy buffet. There was hardly any variety, and I eat everything. I had two full plates of salad, which were mediocre (not that much stuff at the salad bar), and it wasn't that good. Then I had little bites of oddball things from the other areas. Just, not good. And it's really kind of a rip off. :/ I was expecting more for the price. Even freaking Home Town Buffet has three times the food for a little less than that. read more

Have you ever had fettuccine alfredo that tasted like soap? If not, give this Sizzler a try. I wonder if the noodles were boiled in the wrong dishwater, but it was rather odd. My sirloin used to be a baseball cut standing 3" tall but it was butterflied for faster cooking, which left some edges more well done than others. The salad bar wasn't too bad but some of the trays/buckets were overfilled causing food to run down the sides of the bar. Service was good, but the food was mediocre at best. For the value after the hotel's discount coupon of 15%, it's really hard to complain but I can see why this spot only gets 2.5. read more

Visited the Sizzler after stopping at the Grand Canyon on my way to Atlanta. Has to be the worst Sizzler I have eaten at. I ate the buffet which usually has a pretty good variety of food at decent quality. Not this one. They had only meatballs and Over fried Chicken wings as a meat choice. Only one flavor of ice cream (Vanilla was missing the flavor) with only peanuts, chocolate, and oreo crumbs as toppings. The other desert options were Banana pudding and peach cobbler. The Banana pudding was more of just bread with a little pudding on top. The peach cobbler was terrible. The tuna salad looked like it had been sitting there all day. The price was not too expensive at $9.99. The service was pretty good from the server. This is the only reason I didn't give it a One Star. Needs lots of work. read more

My welcoming to Sizzler was good, and I was super excited about ordering the steak and lobster combo, so I did, also ordered a mango lemonade. My server that seated me and my husband was nonchalant. When my food finally got at the table, my lobster was way overcooked and my steak had no flavor. My mango lemonade was ridiculous sweet, I gave it to my husband. I really didn't enjoy my dinner. I came here on Labor Day with my family before another hectic round of classes. My dad saw this place on his way home and thought we should try and I wasn't expecting much since the reviews were ok. But surprisingly it was really good!! My dad ordered from the buffet but I ordered from the menu. My food was taking long for some reason and the waitress was really kind to let me get something to eat from the buffet while I was waiting for it. My entree (a burger) was really delicious and the serving size was plentiful. My dad liked the buffet a lot. Our waitress also let me get dessert from the buffet which was so generous of her considering I didn't choose the buffet option. I cannot give more than 1 star. Spent $91 for 3 meals and salad bars. Lobster trails were rubber and my $20 ribeye was over cooked. Sent it back and waited nearly 15 minutes for a medium rare steak. Couldn't eat it after waiting, so not real sure if it was any better? Waited almost 10 minutes for drinks and at least 30 minutes for our food. Restaurant wasn't very busy, so I didn't know why the wait staff were so slow? I'm a local and have been here before, always have had fair to poor experience. My family and I came here to eat before we left out of town. We paid over $100 for the worst food ever. We ordered 2 steak meals and the steaks were very rare and hard to chew. Terrible steak! Mostly fat and inedible, first and last visit that cost $35.00 plus tip. And we received the Senior Special! My recommendation is to go to Texas Roadhouse rather than Sizzler! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! This was our first visit to Sizzlers and I don't think we have ever had such a terrible meal. The taco meat in the salad bar was all dried up and burnt and the salad greens were turning brown. Our waitress really didn't want to be bothered with us. She didn't even offer me condiments for my hamburger. I would have asked for some but we never saw her again. My hamburger was barely warm and appeared to been precooked then reheated with a tiny shriveled up piece of cheese (definitely a fake picture in the ad). My husband ordered Chicken Malibu. A tiny piece of breaded chicken, deep fried with again a tiny slice of cheese and to make matters worse it was accompanied by "rice pilaf" that was nothing more than cheap rice a roni. Shame on the manager for letting his staff be so disrespectful to its customers and worse yet letting the condition of the salad bar be in such a state that it is just a matter of time before someone gets sick!!!! Please don't be deceived by a two-star rating. If I could I would give a 2 1/2, but I really don't think that this Sizzler (or any for that matter) deserves a 3 star of A-OK rating. For a buffet style restaurant, this Sizzler is alright. As Yelp says, I HAVE expeirenced better for similar style buffets. My boyfriend and I came here on a lunch break from fishing at Lake Mary. The place was somewhat busy. I tried their salad bar, which was alright. The pre-mixed Caesar salad I tried was a tad bit soggy and flavorless and all the salads and lettuce mixes seemed like they had water sitting at the bottom of the serving bowls, so after my first taste I skipped the salad for the rest of the meal. Other cons in my book would be the spaghetti noodles (being that they were cooked a bit too long and were very soft) and the strawberry sauce that goes on the ice cream (which had a very artificial taste). I kind of felt like a jerk when we paid up front before the meal, because I had NO idea that there were "servers" that refill your drinks and bring you new plates, and I didn't leave a gratuity. If I had cash on me, I would have, but it would be helpful to put a sign or inform those of us who aren't familiar with the restaurant. Our server was nice, though, despite my error. On a positive note, their mac n' cheese, meatballs, and ice cream were pretty good, and the service (albeit a bit awkward) was nice. read more

My wife and I went here expecting a pretty decent meal. To our surprise it cost us over 30 dollars. The food was absolutely disgusting and upon leaving we both felt sick to our stomachs and had to go somewhere else to get real food. Back when and still today you can get good food not great but good food with big helpings at a good price and the young staff here is always nice and smiling. There are two sizzler restaurants (buffets) in Flagstaff. The one on East 66 was pretty bad but might be better now. The one on Butler used to be very good but is slowly going into decline. This is true mostly of the salad bar. Many of the items it used to have are disappearing and it's not what it was. Course these are hard times and it's hard for restaurants to keep their heads above water but in my opinion, it's just going downhill because of management. read more

This place is probably the worst place i've been to. It is disgusting and unsanitary i've never been to s place worse than this. The chicken is just bone and the chicken tasted like it's been sitting out for literal years. The onion rings were over cooked and the salad tasted like dirt. The mac and cheese was just water no flavor what so ever my rice had hair in it which is so gross. The ice cream tasted like spoiled milk. The food hurt my stomach so bad i had to run to the bathroom before something bad happened. When i went to the bathroom there was shit all over the toilet and one stall didn't even lock. their meat for the tacos were soggy and i almost threw up. This is the most unsanitary place i've been too my food at school cafeteria is better than this and so is the bathroom at our school.Ive never been this disgusted by a restaurant in my life.
