At first I did not want Mexican food since I eat it all the time, but after walking into the indian spot close by and smelling it, we ran straight to Estrellas. My mother-in-law and I were going to buy food here while my husband and kids bought food elsewhere. They allowed them to still eat with us, which was nice. Unfortunately, their fryer was not working that day, so we couldnt get anything that had to be fried. We ended up both getting the Asada plate. We went to sit down and wait for our food, but not before we stopped at the salsa bar. We were off to a great start cause they had plenty of options, including pico de gallo, avocado salsa, cucumbers, radishes, and many more things. The location was extremely clean, with a lady coming by every 5-10 mins cleaning up anything people dropped or plates people were done with. The Asada plates came with side salad, rice, beans, and a grilled nopal and green onions. It was all absolutely delicious!! The salsas were so fresh and cut through the savory on the plate. It was extremely filling, and my mother-in-law ate the entire plate (she never does that, usually takes half home, so you know it was GOOD).

The burger had a great taste. We got the Salted Crunch Cake. Not my favorite, because I like cakes that are more spongy and one was a bit too dense for me. Service was good - attentive and quick. I'll def come back when I'm back in the area to try out more dishes!

SERVICE: The service was great, and our waitress even walked out to us in the parking lot with our to-go box after we forgot it inside. So sweet! AMBIANCE: The best time to come here is on a sunny day when you can enjoy the deck and view of the water. There's a park right out front, so it's very family-friendly! We also brought our puppy with us twice and sat outside. PARKING: The parking lot is quite small, so you might have to park in one of the adjacent neighborhoods and walk over on a busier day.

This spot is in a strip mall on Louise Ave in Manteca. We got greeted & sat right away when we came in. The staff here doesn't stop moving, it's pretty much 3 people on the service side, they take orders, run food, & check on you. I believe the guy who checked on us a lot, I want to say his name was Lieness. Super nice guy, hard worker. The other ladies too. Food was good, for sure it's marked up, but I thought quality of the seafood, and the way it was cooked was good. I've got a high standard for the sauce, this one was for sure spicy, stayed on the seafood and corn pretty well. To me that's how you can separate these boil spots from each other. When you pull the shrimp out of the bag and de-shell it does the sauce drip right off? If it does, to me that's a sign of bad sauce, it's not getting infused on the seafood, corn, potatoes, etc. This spot it was decent, but better than most.
