The one in NATOMAS, I never went back to after going one time I felt like the price didn't match the food However, I was pleasantly surprised at how busy this place was and how great the service was. Although it was packed, it didn't feel packed. It still felt like there was a lot of room. It was easy to get my food. Sit down and enjoy it. That all you can eat is about $17 We also got a surf and turf kind of plate that was so good put it this way I was so full. I could not finish food. I was really bummed out that they did not have the baked potato in the salad bar because of that alone I was gonna drop this entire place a couple stars I explained to Cesar that I was asking where the baked potatoes were, and he explained about the fact that they did not have it for the salad bar I was able to order mine quickly and have it back and it was delicious I really wish I could have some broccoli on top of a baked potato. I don't know if anybody remembers the old Carl's Jr.. They used to have an old Ca-Sacramento and you could just like totally do your baked potato. It was amazing. So back to the food the shrimp was so good. The fish tasted well. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce, but that's just me. My husband liked it. My salad was great. We were happy to find this Sizzler while visiting family - we saw it in passing & started to crave that cheesy, toasty bread. The lady taking our order at the register asked about extras I didn't even know about... mushrooms, onions, avocado, etc. I got the steak w/ mushrooms, all you can eat shrimp, & baked potato; the hubbs got a sirloin burger w/ fries extra crispy. The fries were perfect, the steak was good/ cooked properly, the shrimps were plump & abundant! We each had 2 pcs of that crack bread, we got a peach lemonade, & left room for a soft serve cone. Came here on a Wednesday night with our 3 grandkids. The 2 stars are for the staff. They were all 5 stars for customer service. Friendly, stayed busy, helpful and our server even warmed our grandsons milk for him. Above and beyond sweetness and we made sure to tip her well. The food however was terrible. I did the full salad bar but was too nervous to eat much. The place is very clean but the food just isn't fresh at all. We ordered (2) steak, garlic mash potatoes, and unlimited shrimp, steak fries, and unlimited shrimp, kids cheese burger with fries, and grilled chicken club burger with fries. Steak was mediocre. The shrimp was not good. The cocktail sauce it came with has an overly vinegar taste. Garlic mash potatoes was GROSS. It taste like the ones you make out of the box but worst. Senior prices jumped to $14.69 with drinks included. I used to enjoy the senior price with no soda drinks and discount. The salads are fresh but the meat balls for spaghetti was stale today 12/29/2025. We asked for the sweet rolls and was told it was stopped since COVID. It makes no sense at all. Came in to have dinner ordered lobster and new York steak medium rare and potatoes no chives butter and sour cream only as allergic to chives. Waited about 40-50 minutes and what came out was barely cooked streak completely raw in the middle and a potato loaded with chives they sent the order back took off the chives and cooked the steak another 5-10 seconds and the results of the steak was overcooked on the outside raw on the inside we asked for the management to redo the whole order waited another 45 minutes for it to come out with no results of the food finally went to the front for a refund which they refunded waited another 15 minutes in case the food might come out since waited this long for it finally asked a server and was told then that it was canceled by the management. I haven't been to Sizzler since before COVID. This was our first visit to this Sizzler because the Silzzler in Auburn and in Roseville both closed down. The pros: I thought both the lady who took our order at the cash register and our waitress were great. Both were very nice. The waitress came by several times to see if we needed anything. The prices have gone up quite a bit, but that's true all over. The order size was fine (I'll actually contradict that a bit under cons). I ordered the smaller size Tri-tip; my wife ordered the larger one. I did think mine was slightly tough, but I ordered it medium well done. My wife ordered hers medium and she said it was delicious. Next time, I'll order mine medium. The restaurant could use some redecorating, but if you're in the mood for early '70's decor, it's fine. Also, they included a drink with the meal. Now for the cons: They pretty much did away with their old senior menu. They used to give seniors a small, mixed salad with their senior meals. That's been taken away. You can still get a salad, but the charge for it now. That's the reason for four stars instead of five stars. I will go back and try it again some time. read more

We met some friends here for dinner. As we entered, there's a huge menu for us to check out. You can order a steak dinner, burger, fish, or chicken. You can also order the salad bar with your meal with an extra charge. I opted for just the salad bar. I enjoyed a nice variety salad. I also enjoyed a couple different soups. There was also tacos, chicken wings, fruit, and dessert as well. This was a nice place to share a meal and chat with friends. Salad bar was clean and food was brought out regularly. Haven't been to Sizzler in over FIFTEEN years! Had to try it again. Unfortunately, the old adage is true: "Nothing ever stays the same". I ordered my previous favorite: Malibu Chicken. Unfortunately they have changed this dish considerably. The chicken breast was thin and not flavorful as it used to be. It had the world's THINNEST slice of Swiss cheese on top, nowhere near the thick slice it used to have. The mustard sauce tasted the same - good! However, I was VERY disappointed in their cheese toast. They no longer use the delectable thick slices of Texas Toast (as they did in the past), and now they only put the cheese and seasoning on ONE side of the toast. So SAD with all the food changes. Came here tonight (6/23) for dinner at about 6:30. The temperature inside the restaurant was 87 degrees per the thermostat. That is insane. To have food sitting out and have workers in pants, cooks, patrons etc in this establishment when you keep it at 87 is borderline inhumane. Whoever is this owner needs to figure it out. I always passed this Sizzler by on my way to work and wanted to try it for the longest time. Today we finally tried it for the first time and I would say the food was alright. The rib eye stake had a lot of fat on it, but otherwise was good. The chicken in the ribs and chicken dish was plain grilled and had some bbq sauce on top, so felt like you're eating ribs but in a different form. We also had the cajun shrimp basket and that was pretty good. Our server was nice and polite, but did not come back to check if we needed anything after we received our food, even tho the restaurant was not as busy.
