All you can eat shrimp, steak w/ mushrooms, & buttery, creamy baked potato - YUM!!
    Kris G.

We were happy to find this Sizzler while visiting family - we saw it in passing & started to crave that cheesy, toasty bread. The lady taking our order at the register asked about extras I didn't even know about... mushrooms, onions, avocado, etc. I got the steak w/ mushrooms, all you can eat shrimp, & baked potato; the hubbs got a sirloin burger w/ fries extra crispy. The fries were perfect, the steak was good/ cooked properly, the shrimps were plump & abundant! We each had 2 pcs of that crack bread, we got a peach lemonade, & left room for a soft serve cone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was MLK Monday & it was packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The poor young lady waiting tables was all alone, serving the entire restaurant. We told her she was doing an awesome job, keep it up, & then left her a nice tip for hustling. Keep this hard working young lady, Sizzler! It was so good, we told our family & they went the next night, after we left!

I've been to this Sizzler a few times. Usually I'm cool with their simple salad bar and hot food options, but this visit just didn't hit. Ambiance: 4/10 [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's Sizzler... nothing fancy here. Standard booths, cafeteria vibes. You order and pay up front, grab a plate, and find a seat. It gets the job done, but don't expect atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food: 5/10 The salad bar was okay, nothing impressive but edible. The pasta was decent enough, but everything else on the hot bar was dry and looked like it had been sitting out way too long. Only win was the soft serve machine, which is probably the most consistent thing about this place. Service: N/A Aside from the cashier taking our order, we didn't interact with a single staff member. No one came to check on anything or even ask how things were.

It is actually open. Hard to tell from the street side as the parking is in the back and hard to see if people are inside. But they were quite busy the night I visited. I so miss the Sizzler to that closed in my home town so many years ago. Glad I looked closer at this one. Prices are up all over, but it was a treat to have the salad bar and a delicious double Malibu chicken dinner. Cooked just right. And oh, the cheesy bread! LOVE CARBS. Inside has a lot of seating. It was not sparkling clean, but not dirty. The service station should be more covered from view as it makes it feel less inviting...a little. Details like that add/subtract from the ambiance.

Food was very burnt and over cooked , never had a baked potato that was as hard as this one . Not what I expected. Salad bar was a mess all over with brown lettuce. Service could be a lot better . [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a lot of spots on the glasses and plate .[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also came with my husband who's allergic to shell fish . They did not properly sanitize there spoons had to rush to the er

So let me tell you, I have not been to a Sizzler restaurant in years. Even when there was one close to my house, I rarely visit it. I was in the Sacramento area recently and decided to take a leap of faith and have lunch here. Surprisingly enough, I was not disappointed at all. When I stepped in, it brought back a little bit of nostalgia in me. Sizzler was our go to place back in the days. Yes, prices have increased but it is what it is. I got a free malibu chicken meal for their anniversary email rewards and I added a ayce salad bar on the side. My server, Irene, was so sweet and attentive to my needs. There's not too many people like that nowadays. The place was actually big, spacious and clean. It may not be gourmet food but definitely good enough to fill you up and feel satisfied.

    AC at 99 degrees indoors!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]AC was broken and it's been like this for a while now.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came in on Monday Labor Day and it was 99 degrees inside and 104 outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was sweating. This is not healthy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I wish I took pictures of the interior, as it felt so intimate and the seats were comfortable. The food of course, are the stars of the show, and I've never been blown away from how good everything was. The Pad See Ew had a yummy smoky, wok hei flavor that not a lot of places incorporate. The ribeye is cooked perfectly, green curry has a nice coconut sweetness to it. And the laotian sausage, paired with their sauce and sticky rice hits the spot. This place was indeed comforting and my only regret is not trying more items. If you're craving southeast asian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere, I can't recommend this place enough.

Both packed a good amount of heat at the spicy level, which we loved. The Lao sausage was also super flavorful, but as soon as you cut it, the inside does fall apart a bit. It's a personal preference to have a denser sausage. Service was also ok. We found ourselves needing to call over the waitress a couple times, since we were just sitting waiting to order or get a box and check at the end. Flavors are worth coming back for tho.

This is my first classic martini (unlike lychee martinis I've had before at other places). My server asked how I like it, with olive juice or with lemon twist or another option I don't remember. To be honest I don't know how I like it because it's is my first classic martini. So I was honest with him. I said I'll do whatever you recommend because I wanted to try a classic martini cuz I've been watching Gossip Girl. I felt silly admitting I wanted a martini because of a tv show. But my server actually did his research and found that Blair (a main character in the show) likes her martini with a lemon twist. And that is the martini I got. He brought frozen glass and poured the drink on the spot. It was such a vibe and a great drink. For food I got the grilled prawns. This dish is delicious and goes so well with my martini! The interior is dark and light simultaneously, with its rich textiles and colors, high ceilings and the large south-facing window on the long exterior wall. Really nicely done and quite inviting. Travis mixed up what could very well have been the best Old Fashioned we've ever had. It's not my preferred cocktail, but if more were like this one, that may be another story. I opted for the Kumquat Kiss, which was delicious and different. Besides that Old Fashioned, the Hash Brown Lyonnaise really stole the show. Pillow-light hash brown sticks (how did they do that?!) with a scrumptious onion dip with crispy shallots and finely chopped chives. This is one of my top happy hour dishes of the year. Just wow! Try it yourself and tell me you don't agree. The Grilled Prawns missed the mark for me a bit, although the husband liked them. Tasty, but just not as much of a star as the other dish. Only suggestion is to have a happy hour menu for bites as well as beverages, as is found on the website. This would help avoid the need for staff to present a dinner menu (which admittedly, I was confused by) and acknowledge that the first course options are all available but at no happy hour discount (which felt a bit awkward for all involved). Overall, a delightful discovery!
