Plenty of soup and salad bar options.

Four stars if you set your expectations appropriately. We haven't been to a Sizzler's in over a decade and this location looks trapped in the 90s! We opted for the unlimited salad bar ($18.99), and in hindsight, it might be better to get an entree, add in the salad bar for $8 and then take your entree home while you focus on the salad bar for your meal! The salad bar has your usual soup and salad fare, plus a nice selection of hot taco bar items. The dessert selection is pretty good as well. One guy serves the whole restaurant but he does a pretty efficient job! The salad bar alone is pricey but you'll go home full and satisfied!

4/10/26.. Having dinner with my family. And I order Italian herb chicken with baked potato. I ate quarter to almost half of it and seen my chicken was very pink wasn't cooked all the way it was raw. I felt Disgusted and terrible that I ate raw chicken. People don't eat their food terrible.

If you grew up on Sizzler, then you'll love this location. It's true to its origin. I like going here for lunch and doing the salad bar and 6 ounce steak typically a salad bar is really good and fully stocked and the steak is the original sizzler steakhouse steak Not a bad deal for a good lunch.

I always catch grief when I say I love Sizzler as if it's some low class establishment, But I always have the best experience when I visit the Waterman location in San Bernardino, first off the restaurant is CLEAN the salad bar is very clean and always well stocked and turned over. The Guest service is exceptional and super friendly we always get the same servers and she is amazing I wish I remembered her name she and all of the bus staff and servers are great. I always order the Steak and all you can eat shrimp with a one trip salad bar. The steak is always cooked perfect the shrimps are plentiful. My only gripe is that I wish they still brought a basket of cheese toast instead of the single toast with the meal but that's just me being a fatty lol. Great job as always Waterman Sizzler in San Bernardino I'll be back in a couple weeks!!! Oh and PS the new potato salad on the salad bar is really good and I'm gonna need to know where I can get a gallon of that cocktail sauce HAHAHA!!!

I have fond childhood memories of Sizzler, because that's where my folks would take me when we "ate out". However, as I got older, I got disenchanted and stopped going for over a decade. My wife and I went on a whim and we are glad we did. The crew at this sizzle was outstanding. Even though we arrived a little past eight, on the last hour of the restaurant being open, the folks working there were still super welcoming and accommodating. The dining room while dated, was clean and well put together. They worked diligently in ensuring the restaurant was being cleaned, the salad bar stocked, and managed to do all this while still being attentive to the needs of the diners. What I was most impressed by, was when I ordered my steak medium-rare, they nailed it spot on seasoned fabulously. This was better than some "fine-dining" restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised.

Steak and all you can eat shrimp

Saw this on way through Redlands. Had not eaten here since I was much younger. About 20 years ago. I loved this place growing up as a kid. I got the sirloin with all you can eat shrimp and backed potato. It also came with their famous cheese toast. I will say some of the rating is due to nostalgia. It was just as I remembered. The steak was not a great cut and was overcooked but not bad. It was juicy. The shrimp was good and I liked that since it's all you can eat they load the plate up to start off. I might go back but quality was so so and was a little expensive for what it wad. However if you are like me it was worth the nostalgia.

The vaunted Salad Bar! *dramatic music*

I have to echo some of Kenny M's sentiments when it comes to Sizzlers. I have fond memories of them in general. When I was a kid from the early to mid 80s onward, Sizzler was the where the family would take us when we wanted to "go out to dinner" and they didn't want to break the bank. For a long time, I thought that Sizzler was the definition of a steakhouse. Of course, having grown up since then (and having become the foodie I now am), I've learned my lesson; and yes, a bit of the shine and polish has worn off the chain in general. But let's face it, for a long time, Sizzler was the steakhouse for the masses. This particular location is one of few left in the area, especially since the one in Redlands closed and became a Dennys recently. The chain has contracted quite a bit in recent years. This one is located on Waterman Ave near Hospitality Lane surrounded on many sides by hotels. I wouldn't doubt if said hotels provide many of their customers. Dominating the center of the dining area is, of course, the salad bar. Sizzler has become famous for these; and the San Bernardino one does not disappoint. Every time I've visited this location, their food at the salad bar was fresh and plentiful with lots of selections. They even have a "side bar" that has fried chicken wings (these are yummy!!) a mini taco/nacho bar, spaghetti with sauce and meatballs, and the last time we went (earlier tonight)..orange chicken (this was really yummy too actually). We've ordered other entrees from here in the past and were please with the quality. Yelpers note - I'm still addicted to their Malibu Chicken! One pleasant thing about this location is that the manager is always a friendly and helpful; and the waitresses are always smiling, pleasant and give excellent service. That's always encouraging to see at a, shall we say...non higher-end establishment. To be honest, the food is delicious but nothing super special. We've never had anything bad here. The food itself gets a solid 3 stars; but the pleasant and cheerful attitude of the employees here..on a consistent basis...earns this location a 4th star easily. Certainly with a visit!

I was offered a choice of fried or pan-fried. I assumed that fried meant deep fried, so I picked that. The dumplings I was served were pan-fried. The filling was an under-seasoned ground chicken with a bit of a pasty texture. The slaw served with the potstickers was tasty, but the dipping sauce was incredibly salty. I would not order this dish again. I also ordered a personal BJ's Favorite pizza, and that was really good! The only real downside of this location is that the people at the hostess station are kind of unwelcoming. There is often a group of people at the station who are more interested in chatting with each other than greeting a customer. The main hostess during the day acts like you're annoying her with your request for a table, even though the restaurant isn't that busy. The waitstaff seems to get overwhelmed when it does get busy, so you often have to flag someone down if you need something. Despite the staff problems, I still like BJ's and will return.

Asked for dressing 3 times never got them couldn't eat our entree salads. Then a couple more plates came out 15 mins later, then they tried to give the next food they ran out to the table next to us. Then we were still waiting on our final 2 plates, they brought us one of the plates and 10 mins later brought the last plate. Everyone's missing items and all food came out extremely scattered. We went to find a manager and they did literally nothing. Still couldn't eat my salad. What a waste of 2 hours of our time and ruined the mood right before our graduation starts. Nothing like spending so much on what was supposed to be a nice lunch and having to plan to leave here to get something else quickly to eat. This made us want to cancel our second night stay in the hotel. Manager did end up sending someone over on her behalf to apologize so thank you for that part. Just disappointed.

There was spilled food everywhere, making the whole area feel unclean and neglected. To make matters worse, the advertised feature of the week/month wasn't even available. The staff behind the counter seemed more interested in chatting with each other than paying attention to customers or maintaining the food area. When I used the restroom, the floor was so sticky that my feet literally stuck to it--completely unacceptable. We couldn't even bring ourselves to eat and ended up requesting a refund. The only positive part of this experience was the manager on duty, Anthony. He was professional, understanding, and genuinely tried to make things right. Unfortunately, he was only able to refund the meals paid by card. Those who paid cash were told we'd have to return the next day due to not having access to the register. We'll be going back to try and get the rest of our refund, and I'll update this review afterward. Now, I don't fault th server, because we did have a large party. I ordered a cup of clam chowder. This was a very small cup. I'd say, it was probably a half cup. It was served in a shallow little bowl. The soup was watery, bland, and did not taste at all like clam chowder. It was also room temperature. When the rest of the food was served, the food was cold. There was no steam coming off the plate, with the exception of the kid's pizza. The butter on the shrimp skewers has hardened, which means it was probably sitting at the kitchen for a while. My salad was ok, but you can't really mess up a salad. It was nice of the server to bring a slice of cake out, since she knew we were celebrating a marriage. Overall, I would not recommend eating here. The food was overpriced and service was ok. Also, the AC in the area we sat in, was not working. The front of the restaurant was cold, but in the area we sat in, it wasn't that cold. Unfortunately, Claim Jumper is probably going to be another chain that becomes forgotten.
