Came in today for lunch and had the pizza lunch special. food came out in a timely manner, atmosphere was great. I really enjoy how they have different areas of the restaurant depending what you're looking for. The bar, outside by the bar they have cornhole, a really nice outdoor lounge with fireplaces & umbrellas, and of course a play structure which keeps the inside nice and quiet because all the kids are outside. The service was amazing as well. The bartender Cassie took great care of us and the happy hour menu was very appealing. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Let's start by, when I walk into the establishment, last night 6/13/2025, the host proceeds to escort us to the Bar area as requested, but doesn't grab any menus, just says follow me. We follow and she proceeds to have a lengthy conversation with another hostess in the entry way of the bar - so we (my sister and I) proceed to sit ourselves down. After a while (maybe 5mins or more) she turns to go back to her post, never looking around for us, or noticing whether we were still waiting for her..We sit, laugh and talk about the week's events for a while, finally noticing no one has greeted us. Literally takes 15 mins for us to be acknowledge. My sister proceeds to find us a menu, but it was only a drink menu from another table. I'm watching about 6-7 servers standing at the bar laughing and chatting (I assume this is where staging is?). There was a short blond petite server at the table directly to my right. The entire time talking and laughing with the couple not once saying, someone will be with; even if it wasn't her, I stared at her for about 10 mins trying to signal -"hey over here!" Trying for eye contact hard- she sees me but continued on. We continued to stare, and browse the drink menu, trying to decide at this point do we get up and leave. Finally, Kristilyn comes to take our order, I ask for a couple menus because obviously we had none, also asked about a "Happy Hour menu" - she says, "oh it's Monday through Friday" I said, yea, and it's Friday; then she says "oh let me go ask!"; stunned, I'm trying to figure what she is asking; she walks behind the bar, chats with bartender for a bit. Now at this point my blood is starting to boil because WHAT? I'm tired, drive home from working in Fremont want drinks and food with my sister and my whole experience so far is sub-PAR! She returns and says, "sorry it's over at 5:00pm. Another surprise, now I'm frustrated; my sister proceeds to order, she is way more tolerant than me. We hadn't seen each other for close to a year, and I started a new job - we were really hoping for more of a celebration. She ordered, us drinks - a lemon drop and Hennessy side car, plus I order meat lovers pizza small, and buffalo wings. I get up, and walk to the hostess area because I just didn't believe happy was over; it was confirmed over from 2-5pm which is CRAZY FOR PEOPLE WHO WORK! (By the way, I don't like well drinks; but happy hour food is nice. Drinks were good; the chicken came out cold as if it had sat there from 2-5pm. Both my sister and I had eaten one by the time she came back around. I asked if the could take them back to warm them, she first said they'll give us new ones, they don't warm food.. then she returns to say they'll warm them, so it will be faster. At this point it's whatever! Pizza was good! Finally, Sidney comes by checking on customers, stops with us - I explain about the chicken and she says oh no, you will get some new ones, it'll take 10mins and she was also taking it from our bill - very nice way to rectify a not so pleasant experience. Bill comes; we skim over it apparently or I wouldn't be writing this; bill was about $135 (ish) - chicken was removed, my sister question why so high and I told her we had 2- drinks and a shot (made sense to me). But this morning I'm reviewing my receipt and lo and behold, we were charged for a $10 Tito and lemon drop $3; Hennessy $15, sidecar $3. This is crazy - If a mixed drink is $13 or $18 charge that amount, because it seems real pricey or over priced to wake up and see a ton of extra charges on my bill. And then.... I click the stars to leave a comment, and that failed saying I've either left a comment already, or your time has expired (from last night and it's 7am?? Really?? Do better all the way around. I've eaten here twice in this area! One was for a birthday dinner and the second was hosting my son's TK grad dinner. Both times were really yummy (at least to me!) I booked the rooftop for about 30 people (including kids) I absolutely love how attentive and friendly the servers are, they were very quick to make sure our food was to our liking and warm temps for the kids. Personally, I liked their red pasta, a fam favorite was the Parmesan chicken, calamari, wings, and ofc pizza! Loved their variety of desserts; gelato, cake, and tiramisu? I believe I got a package deal where everyone got to choose what they wanted. I loved the upstairs so much, the rooftop had lights, waterfall area, and just being away from the crowd to have a more intimate dining experience was worth it. I would like to update my previous review, as the situation was handled with the utmost professionalism and integrity by restaurant manager Sydney. She heard about what happened with the gift card mixup and reached out to me on Yelp to offer to make things right. She credited my account with the missing gift card funds. We came in to the restaurant today to use the credits and were seated right away. We ordered a vegetarian pizza from our server, Meranda, who was also very friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and responsive. The pizza came out looking hearty and delicious, with generous fresh toppings and a perfectly crisp crust. My wife and I enjoyed our meal and the service. They showed us so much kindness and had the "we want to make this right" attitude the entire time. That's the way you win customers back. Sydney and Meranda did a fantastic job and because of them, we will continue patronizing and recommending this business. Skipolinis has great food at reasonable prices with good service. This is the best Skipolini's ever!!! They have largest menu out of all the locations. And the jalapeno poppers are so GOOD!!! The sauce inside is so unique. Those are the go to!! Wish I could give zero stars. We got there today 6/12 a little before noon. Sat down got our ice teas and ordered a Chicken Caesar salad and wings. 20 or more minutes later nothing out of the kitchen. Mind you they were all about making sure a large party in the back area had plenty of food coming their way. Main dining room we were in had only one other couple sat and they got their food right away. Ended up walking out. Today I had dinner here with my family. The bartender at the bar was really rude. I wanted to order a beer on a different tab. Unfortunately she told us the tab had to be on the main tab of our guest, but because it's an open tab, we didn't want to charge them again. She was being rude. She didn't want to help us. She even snatched the credit card from the person that wanted to buy and I believe that that's not good as a bartender to do so. And then we told her we wanted to speak to the manager so she brought us this guy we were talking to him and then told us that we needed to speak English because the guy spoke Spanish never in my life did I this at Skipolini's I've been coming here for years, even in the one in Antioch and Clayton, and never even experienced racism until today. I was told we had to speak English never did I expect this racism .I thought this was friendly environment never again will I go there . if you're Hispanic and you come here you will you will understand what you see when you walk in through the bartending side. We come here all the time because this is hands down the BEST pizza. I recently ordered a pizza for pick up and once I got home we realized it was either undercooked or very soggy. We tried to put in the air fryer but it didn't help much. I called back and Sydney was so sweet over the phone. She offered to make us a new one and refund us for the pizza since we had to drive back over there. I am not one to ever complain so I felt bad even calling in the first place, but seeing that they took this seriously and did what they could to make the customer happy without making me feel like a burden, was truly appreciated. Woah! For those on a budget and with large families, I suggest this be a once a year type of place to eat at. We spent nearly $300 for five people. Super over priced. The food was decent. We all ordered burgers and almost all of ours were burnt. The only thing that was good were the appetizers. We were also going to order three shots which were priced at $10 a shot but when we asked how much for the bottle, it was $35 for the bottle. He informs me there's a door around the back to go there and get my Pizza there. That's the pickup spot. So I go there, however, it is a door that has a doorbell, and it is 48° outside. I have to stand outside in the cold while paying $56 for 2 medium pizzas i don't know about you but I don't want to spend that much money and get treated like trash. That doesn't belong in the restaurant. I waited out there for at least 4 minutes at 48° temperature. I will never order from this establishments again. They will never see another penny. Updated review. Unfortunately, nothing has improved. We had a family dinner as a party of 7. We ordered a family size skips salad, medium pepperoni pizza, garlic bread, bbq chicken wings and one person had a special order of small skips salad no onions and gluten free margarita pizza due to dietary restrictions. We didn't order that much food as some people weren't that hungry. The special order of the skips salad came out loaded with onions that had to be picked off. It took over an hour for the pizza to come out and we had to hunt down our waitress every time we needed something. She actually disappeared for about 30 minutes which is why our food was prolonged.
