Found this on Yelp, great reviews don't lie here! Whether it was possible to eat inside was a question... you can park at by the side and walk to the front, there appears to be accommodations for two groups of four people. The food was above expectations and absolutely delicious, well laid out plates, too. I had the ginger bowl with steak, excellent fusion dish and the horseradish was a welcome surprise. The chicken salad dish was also ordered and was fantastic. The atmosphere was a bit cramped and very loud; that is my only complaint, thus 4 stars... we ate inside during a winter storm. read more

Stopped in on the way back from Lincoln City as a friend recommended their fish tacos. I'm always game for fish tacos and often enjoy them at various places along the coast. I ordered two, without onions, and felt this was an appropriate serving for me. The fish was very fresh, no fishy odor, and they were blackened just right. The slaw and sauce were great accompaniments with just a little kick to the sauce. My friend had the same with onions and said the pickled onions were a touch sweet and felt they helped cool down the sauce some. We noted they also serve burgers and shakes which looked good going by to other tables. The only reason I didn't give a 5 rating was due to location-only 3 inside tables and two outside and it was right on the highway (noise.) Also, not much parking available. This place is a hidden gem! We pulled up and there was no one here and then we ordered our food and it was spectacular! I had the Yee-Haw burger and the onions with the sauce made it one of the best burgers I had in a long time. The cheesteakrs are great, the milkshakes are great and the fries (especially with queso) are amazing! The service was wonderful as well, they are very kind people. Skosh's Smash Burger was excellent, high-quality beef, well cooked with a nice char, onions and mushrooms delicious. Philly cheesesteak was also very good, generous meat and cheese and the fries were hand cut, nicely seasoned and crispy - even after I get home. Ordered online and the food was ready when I arrived. Fastest yelp review I've ever left! Just got in the car after eating at Skosh. AMAZING!! Not only are they extremely friendly the food was so good. My husband had the crispy chicken sandwich and I had the ye haw burger with queso cheese. Big portions and everything tasted really fresh. We ate outside and Sean even checked on us. As a local we usually avoid leaving home Memorial Day weekend the kick off for tourist season. But when I asked my family where they wanted to order take out from they voted Skosh. I was hesitant at first due to the super windy rainy weather. Boy am I glad I gave in. It was so worth the 30 min drive from Newport! I'm never disappointed. As locals we have limited choices in town but Skosh makes up for that. They have a creative varying menu with far more choices then we are used to in Waldport. After a long day at the beach, we were incredibly hungry. This place looked promising, so we tried to order online. The system glitched three times and wouldn't let us complete the order, but that isn't their fault, so we ordered in person. Our kids ordered chicken strips and it was enough to satisfy them. My wife ordered the Smush burger and loved it. Their online order form said they had a Mondo burger, so we ordered that for myself. The cashier said it was no longer on the menu, but the cook said he could make it anyway- those are bonus points right there for customer service! My burger was so messy I had to eat part of it with a fork, but it was delicious. If we find ourselves in town again, we'd happily eat here again. read more

I had a peanut butter shake, I tend to like less peanut butter than most people so I asked for 1/2 the usual amount, it was perfect, the best shake I have had in a long time. The shake is made with soft serve, but don't let that deter you, it tastes much better than the shakes from all the fast food chains as it did not have that overly sweet fake taste, I think it must have a decent amount of real cream in it. read more

Great service and unique spot! Order when you're 15ish minutes out and it'll be ready for curbside pick up or outside by the picnic tables (ambiance). The price was good for how convenient the restaurant is. I personally wouldn't get the chicken ones again - not a fan of bbq tacos, but the fish taco and cheesy fries were worth coming back for! They're the type of people you meet and immediately feel like friends. The environment is comfortable and I always look forward to interacting with the staff. I also love the comic book, old school pop culture aesthetic of this place.
