We eat here ALL THE TIME. I work nearby with my friends Clayton and Anthony. We recently ate here with our co-worker Thomas and another guy named Jake who Thomas knows I think. Jake seemed fine. I think he got a three way. He went outside to talk on the phone and seemed mad. Maybe he has a relationship problem or is still learning about his job. He's probably ok. We were there at lunch and wanted to get the new Skyline Breakfast which is Skyline Chili food but with breakfast foods like eggs and hash browns with it. So it's Skyline like you would think about but breakfast. The same but different. We went for lunch for so we could not get breakfast. They stopped serving the eggs and hash browns BEFORE lunch. There was no breakfast at lunch. Zero. Wouldn't it be great to get breakfast at lunch time? That's what I thought too! But they don't do that. So we just had regular not breakfast food at lunch which was great looking back on it because we went for lunch anyway. I think I would eat here more if they had breakfast available at lunch. Also I would go without Jake maybe because he seemed busy. read more

This little place reminds me of the Waffle House back home. Simple menu with simply good food. Had the Greek side salad (full of fresh flavor) and a couple cheese coneys with mustard and onions. Distinct flavor in the chili that I've not had before. Of course from the South I'm used to robust flavors, regardless simple and tasteful. Always enjoy having a local favorite when traveling to experience what Great Folks here enjoy. I failed to mention the great service nice welcome to Skyline when you walk through the door, grab a seat and get waited on with a smile (Thanks Camron). What time is it? It's skyline time! This is my favorite restaurant of all times. I eat there about three times a week. Whether I'm just hungry or have a hangover , or just because it's close by and sounds good , im There! a lot of people don't know they make funnel fries there which are excellent ! Skyline Chili food was worth a try, okay to eat, but dont think I'lleat it again. Also, the restaurant's inside look disorganized and especially with, what looked like a dirty dish cart and the vacuum, was left in the middle of the restaurant, which looked unkept. While the chili has the same flavor the portion size and amount has changed considerably. I got chilli cheese sandwiches and there was a very small amount of chili. This has been the case the last two times. I'm not sure the value is worth a return trip. read more

I love Skyline! It's my go to when I need something quickly. I was between meetings the other day when I went through the drive through at this location. There wasn't anyone in front of me in line and they didn't appear to be busy (it was 4 PM on a Wednesday afternoon). It's the slowest service I have ever had at any Skyline. All I ordered was a cheese coney and cheese fries. My coney had hardly any chili on it too. I was very disappointed in this location. read more

Whenever I come to visit family I always like to take a trip to skyline. I always get the 5 way spaghetti with chili, cheese, onions and beans. My husband enjoys the chili cheese fries. The prices are good. The food is good. I really like the crackers they give you. Food was all good. Great service.No complaints. Will definitely go to another skyline in the future. read more

That's not chili. It's meat sauce. Now, it's good, but don't go in there expecting chili or you'll be disappointed. My Aunt who is a Cincinatti native told me I HAD to try this, and I'm glad I did. I went to the location at 11929 Hamilton Ave on 1/9/24. Used a debit card (that I rarely use) at the drive thru, because I had misplaced my usual card somewhere in my purse. They used my card and because I was distracted still trying to locate my regular debit card I had dropped in my purse. I disgarded the fact that they stepped away from the window with the card. My only focus when I got the card back was to make sure my receipt was correct. However, several days later I started getting notifiers that my card was being used for ATM withdrawals and the card was still in my possession. I responded to the notifiers to cancel the card but by then it had been used 3x. Found out it was used at the Krogers at 1 W Corry. I spoke to manager at Skyline who said nothing they could do but I have filed a police report. Just a warning, ALWAYS be diligent when using debit/credit cards and they leave your possession. read more

This skyline is a disgrace to the Skyline name. This store has basically no welcoming employees, no smiles on the employee faces. Every other location is waaay better. The store cleanliness is always below par. The hot dogs are old or over cooked and tough. Our family tries to avoid this Skyline location . At least the crackers were good still. read more

Went into skyline chili today. Had an absolutely wonderful experience food was great service by Janele was great she was such a great server!! Will definitely return to see her. The only thing that I would recommend is bringing back the Oreo cheesecake I was hoping to Stuff my cheeks but they took it off the menu! Oh well guess I am not getting dessert! Our family loves Skyline Chili. We always have skyline chili, chili spaghetti and skyline hot sauce in our cabinets. However , this location was disgusting. Food everywhere. I asked for a drink and the waitress got her a drink, drank it and never brought my drink. I had to ask another server who was the only bright spot. I was told that Cincinnati is a Chili Town and native Cincinnatians love this place. And, I do believe they do, as trekking around Kentucky and Ohio today on the freeways, there are tons of these places around. I was running early for my meeting so I figured it'd be a good time to pop in and see what all the hubub is about. I walk in, I'm greeted immediately by 3 or 4 people, and find my way to the counter. Everyone is super friendly, and you get table waiter service in there... nice. I look through the options and there were tons of good looking items that would probably make me burst at the seams and go into a food coma (which wouldn't be good for my meeting), so I decided to keep it light and order up a couple Cheese Coney's and a sody pop. My order came up quickly, and I also received a bowl of oyster crackers? Ok... The Coney's are maybe 5" length hot dogs in buns, smothered with their special recipe chili, onions, mustard, and a mountain of shredded cheese. Quite tasty I must say... and the oyster crackers went well too. And the service is killer. My drink was always topped off and they checked to make sure everything was okey dokey a few times. When I first walked into the joint, I felt a bit out of place, probably because I was the only Japanese guy in a 10 mile radius at least, plus I had a shirt and tie on... probably not their regular walk-in. These guys had me at ease and ordering and eating in no time. Great place. On a side note, they do use ALOT of cheese. They should call it a CHEESE Coney instead of a Cheese Coney. 6 hrs later I got the familiar tummy rumble... (Damn you lactose intolerance! lol...) This location stinks, I love skyline. This place is a far cry from what it's supposed to be. I ordered chilitos they sucked, more chili spilled onto the foil they were wrapped in, then was inside of the wrap. Did I mention how slow these people were?? Not sure how it's still open. Can't beat Cincinnati's best chili! This place was exceptional for sure! The service is excellent.. and the food comes out extremely fast! Found out I have been eating at franchise Skylines. Stopped at this company-owned store and learned what Skyline should taste like. Yummy! From now on, I will find out ahead which kind each store is. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. I'm not sure what the brown water with cinnamon that they pour over spaghetti is, but it damn sure isn't chili. Skyline is where people from Cincinnati reccomend people go eat when they don't like them. On the bright side, a 3-way chili is cheaper than a box of exlax and works faster. Just be sure you're no less than 30 feet from a toilet and you have 3-4 hours open on your schedule. read more
