AMAZING!!! That's my take on my visit!! The food was prepared perfectly with out of this world flavor. We were greeted by a friendly staff and fast service. This is a must stop in Indy!!!

Visited after work around 4:30. We were the only patrons but the food was still hot and good at this hour. Employees were friendly. The petite lobster roll looked small initially but there's more meat hiding than you originally think. All in all a good experience and I'll be back.
Finally had a chance to try the restaurant that was recommended by so many people, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in (just after opening on a Sunday), we received a friendly greeting and music to make our toes tap. We received menus and took a seat to think through the options. After some back and forth, I ordered the sandwich that prompted the visit - the lobster roll. I opted for the "simple salad" as my side. My husband ordered the fish and chips, which also came with coleslaw. Our food arrived quickly and looked delicious. The lobster on the lobster roll was very buttery (yum!) and tender. The salad had mixed lettuces (nice and crisp), carrots, radishes, cucumber, tomatoes, and a delicious house-made vinaigrette. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips. He also said the slaw was delicious. I snuck a fry and it was crisp outside and fluffy inside. They mentioned that they also have a whole line of house-made sauces. Something to try next time! :)
Found this place on Yelp called Slapfish since we were looking for seafood. I was 15 min walking distant from our hotel. Food very good. Service also good and the ambiance laidback. Would I come back and eat at this place again, I would. Try Slapfish if you love seafood.
We came here on a Friday early evening and were able to be seated right away (the host let us pick where we wanted to sit as well). We were given the menus and advised we could go to the counter to order or order via the QR code and ToastTab. We went with the phone option and it worked perfectly. We ordered the Lobster Deviled Eggs and they were amazing - I'd come back just for that single item!!! For entrees, we got the Oyster Roll and the Hawaiian Bowl. I loved mine and my husband thought his was fantastic too. We wrapped it up with the Key Lime pie. He loved it but I thought it was ok. The filling was perfect but I didn't love the crust (not bad, I have just had better). Service was fast and really friendly. We loved our first visit and I'm looking forward to our next one. This is a very nice clean simple establishment. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. The service was brief but good. The food was good, but honestly not sure if I'll be back as our bill was $63 for 2 drinks, a lobster roll and shrimp roll and 2 sweet potato fries. Good but to me not with it. For that I would expect a more in ambiance, service, etc. But again it wasn't a bad experience or food.

Really great food. Big portions and fish and oysters were pretty fresh. Love that there are healthy options. Full cocktail bar available. Counter or table side order via the web. They'll bring the food to your table. Food for 3 adults and 2 kids was $120.
We needed a quick late night dinner and popped into Slapfish. The space is very inviting and has a fun atmosphere. The counter associate was super friendly and helped us make decisions. He suggested a couple of options that we ordered and really enjoyed. We shared the lobster deviled eggs. Really interesting presentation and very delicious. We also had the lobster tots. Similar to a hush puppy with a slightly spicy Sauce. We also shared the shrimp roll with fries and coleslaw. The worker suggested that we get the fried version and he was not wrong. Tons of shrimp with a buttery roll, crispy fries, and their coleslaw is quite good. Not the cheapest meal you'll have, but the portion sizes are good as this was plenty for the two of us to share. I live on the opposite end of Mass Ave and I forget this is such a great find as you get closer to the city.
Parking is a challenge as you have to pay during the week to park on the street or pay for parking in the lot next door. It has a nice casual ambience. You take a menu but you go to the counter to order. If busy you can log on through a bar code and place your order. The fish and chips are what you'd expect. The Cole slaw is also what you'd expect. The lobster grinder was a treat with a bit of heat. Not unpleasant. I loved the mix as well as the buttery roll. I would order it again and again. The salad dressing was a nice complement to the salad. I ordered a shrimp ceviche to take back to the hotel. We'll be set for the rest of the day
One of my favorite seafood places in the USA. Staff was very friendly and helpful with deciding what to order. The lobster roll is one of the best I have had. Buttered roll, loaded with warm lobster that's cooked perfectly and the lemon adds a nice layer of flavor to it. Coming back to this place next time I'm in Indianapolis!
Been here couple of times and it's still enjoyable. Ordering is more steamlined now using QR code. Pictures on the menu are helpful. Started with shrimp ceviche, taste was great but serving size was small. Clobster was our 2nd starter and enjoyed it as well, serving size was good. Our main were the traditional lobster roll and lobster boil. The former, you just can't go wrong, the bread is amazing and it was very filling. Latter was also great, lobster meat was already extracted so you don't have to crack and break the shell (but that's the fun part). The lobster tots it came has more filler than lobster meat, and lastly, it came with clam chowder, which was also good, love that creamy and crunchy texture. Overall, food was enjoyable and somewhat filling. Parking is alao great and cheap next to this place. Definitely will come back. Place looks different now and has more seating for bigger groups.
First visit to this location, second visit to Slapfish and it was just as good as my first time. This location is easy to find since the Kurt Vonnegut mural is on its exterior. Murals inside didn't disappoint either. On this visit, I placed a carry out order due to Covid. It was done quickly and my wait was minimal. I got the Lobster Taquitos again and my mom tried the Surf N Turf burger. She also tried the (fried) Housemade Pickles. She really liked both. Everything was fresh and flavorful. It wasn't crowded, but there were a few diners. There are signs regarding social distancing, staff was wearing masks, and hand sanitizer stations were set up near the entrance. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu in the near future. read more
Best seafood in Indy. Not only is it fresh, but it's seasoned well and flavors that keep you wanting more in the best way. The lobster tots (yes, you read that correctly) were a nice starter to the meal, paired with a delicious dipping sauce. I got the Epic shrimp burrito, with a capital E, and this behemoth did not disappoint. Loaded with shrimp, rice, fries, some veggie and smothered in a chipotle sauce... it was everything I had dreamt of and more. The staff was really friendly and the orders came out to our table so quickly that our wine was still nice and crisp and cold to accompany the deliciousness that is SlapFish. read more
Holy lobster heaven! Slapfish has been on my list to check out since they opened their Mass Ave location. They had a menu for Devour Indy when we went in so we opted for that. For $15 you can get an appetizer and entree with a side. The lobster roll had an $8 up charge but it was 100% worth it. It was packed with lobster meat! Tender and delicious. However, the clam chowder was the star of the show for me. The bowl portion is HUGE. It was creamy and had big chunks of clam. My husband also loved it. I was able to get a free lobster taquito thanks to Yelp and that was also delicious. Everything I had was flavorful and the quality of the food was excellent. My husband had the clobster grilled cheese and I was able to snag a bite. It was loaded with crab and lobster and the sauce was delicious. I enjoyed the seasoning on the fries and they were perfectly crispy. Service was very friendly and incredibly fast. We went on a Wednesday evening and there was plenty of seating inside. They're doing a great job enforcing social distancing and it was very clean. The aesthetic was also great- bright and inviting. We left full and happy! Excited to go back! read more
We made a visit to Slapfish this weekend we were impressed about how they social distanced . For dine in they only allowed every other table which was great. We love seafood and slapfish has an amazing selection. I had the crab grilled cheese that was simply amazing it was a gigantic portion with a good helping of fries. My husband had the spicy shrimp burrito that was very tasty , We were both surprised with how big the fish taco was it had amazing toppings and the fish was fried to perfection with the perfect blend of spices . We will defiantly be back to try more items. read more

I had my first ever lobster roll and it was amazing to say the least! It was a warm night so the window/door was open which made for a phenomenal ambiance. Excellent food! You will not be disappointed in any of the food. We were here for the very first time and ordered the lobster rolls which were so good and full of lobster, the corn chowder soup, and shrimp ceviche. Our drinks were a watermelon margarita which was on spot and my husband had an old fashion. The service was quick and the staff very friendly. read more

Yall... do NOT sleep on this place!!!! This has some of the best seafood in Indy, and super reasonably priced!! We went here to try them out again (went first time during a private event) and ordered off their devour menu. We got lobster dip, lobster taquitos, and clobster grilled cheese.... basically we had a lobster party!! I wasn't expecting the lobster dip to be cold, but it was sooo good! The taquitos come with guacamole, they were super warm and fresh. And the grilled cheese... let's just say idk if I can ever eat a basic grilled cheese again. This was MOUTHWATERING and is 100% my favorite sandwich in Indianapolis now. Also I dont know what their orange sauce is, but it goes SO well with the sandwich. The service here is kind of like Culvers... you order at a window, then take a seat with a number. Then they bring out your food. They also have booze here too, and their drinks are delicious! I had a blueberry mule and my spouse had a mango sunrise. Almost got another one. Again... please don't sleep on this place. They are new on Mass Ave and I would like to see them around for a VERY long time. I will definitely be back VERY soon!!! read more

The lobster here was really fresh and my bread was so buttery, I could have eaten the roll by itself. I also got a tropical mule which was very tasty! My friend got some sort of balls (can't remember the name) and they were pretty good. She also said her surf n turf burger was delicious. The balls and fries were ok to me but really enjoyed the rest and will definitely come back. They also were taking Covid precautions seriously. read more
My husband was in the mood for a lobster roll and I had been wanting to try Slapfish so we decided to go for lunch on Saturday. We did have to ask for the Devour Indy menu as it was not offered to us. I must say it was a great deal!!! For $17 you get your choice of sandwich and appetizer, plus each sandwich comes with a really nice side salad or side fries. Between us we had the lobster roll ($8 upcharge) and 2 clobster grilled cheeses. For our appetizers we chose lobster taquitos, a bowl of clam chowdah, and lobster dip with homemade chips. Everything was delicious!!! And we were so full we brought home half of our sandwiches. read more

We ordered a Lobster Grinder, Lobster Bisque, Lobster Tots, and the Shrimp Ceviche. It was all exceptionally well made and noticeably fresh. The menu is incredibly innovative. The ambiance of the building is very pleasant, super nice vibe. 10/10 recommend this establishment. read more

Super yummy Lobster dip and chips My friend had the Shrimp Roll and I had the Globster Grilled Cheese. The fries were delicious and the bread fabulous. Staff was informative since it was our first visit and we asked for recommendations. Restaurant was very clean and has outdoor seating. Service was quick easy stop in for lunch but wish we would have been there for dinner so we could savor the flavor a bit longer. Loved it! read more

Omg, the lobster roll! I went here for a Yelp event and was able to sample the lobster roll with a side of chowder fries. I brought a friend (a non-Yelper) and he got the surf and turf burger with some chowder fries. Both were delicious! The lobster roll looked kind of small when I first opened up my to go box, but it was stuffed full with creamy, buttery lobster goodness that I ended up being unable to finish the whole thing in one sitting, especially since I got those chowder fries. The chowder was packed separately to keep my fries from getting soggy on my way home. There was plenty of chowder to smother the fries, but I ended up dipping my fries and then eating the chowder separately. I got a little food envy when I saw my friend's burger. The lobster roll was delicious, but that burger looked amazing. The lobster and beef went nicely together, and the creamy sauce was slightly spicy. Be prepared to make a mess when you eat it because that creamy lobster wants to push that burger right out of the bun. Don't let it escape! I liked that they had signs for Covid up and that they had the chairs and tables marked with tape to enforce social distancing. There was outside tent seating available. I didn't sit out there because it was cold and very windy that day, but I like that the seating was available. Can't wait to come back here to get my own surf and turf ñ burger and try the rest of their menu. Ceviche is up next! read more
No, it is not a new type of fish, and they do not slap the fish around in here. The name comes from the logo they use of a hand in slap mode which looks like a fish! I took a picture of a slap fish while I was here. Evidently this is one of about 40 Slapfish restaurants around the country, but this is one of the only to have a full bar. It's nice to have so many drink options. And speaking of options, the food menu was full of them. I had a hard time deciding, but finally went with the shrimp burrito. It was very good, and it was very messy. I don't mind licking juices off my fingers when the sauce tastes like this. It looked almost too big to eat, especially sitting next to a cup of savory clam chowder soup. It seemed like an hour or so, but really I polished this burrito off in under 15 minutes. You just don't want to sit it down once you start eating it because it's so good and messy. My friend got a tuna bowl and loved it! He thought it was a bit expensive for what he got, but he was still eating after I finished off the burrito. So, either I am a fast eater or he was a slow eater, either way we both ate a hardy meal with a couple of hardy stout beers and a shot of whiskey each! The service was spot on and I will be back soon. read more

Slapfish is a great seafood addition to downtown Indy. Of course the location is great on Mass Ave, and there's a parking lot next door, which helps on busy nights- especially with limited street parking. The interior is beautiful, love the wood accents. Slapfish has a full bar and a nice cocktail menu. The menu is the perfect size (in my opinion), just enough options but it's not overwhelmingly. They've selected meals they can do well and are focusing on those. I had the traditional lobster roll and it was amazing. So much lobster! No complaints on the serving size or the flavor. It was very filling and delicious. I also tried the seasoned French fries, and also no complaints. Finally, I got the house made pickles (not fried). It was a large serving (8 pickles I think) and they were delicious. As far as COVID goes- everyone had on masks, they have some tables marked so you can't use them and can be distanced. They have a QR code to scan for the drink menu. They also have some outdoor seating and a tent (for however long they'll be able to have it set up). There are multiple hand sanitizer stations. The bathroom has automatic soap dispensers, faucets & hand dryers. They also have the foot thing on the door so you don't have to touch the handle (although you do have to touch the lock first :). Overall, I'm impressed with everything at Slapfish. The food was incredible, the setting is beautiful, service was quick and friendly and they have great health and safety standards. It's not easy opening a new location during a pandemic but they're doing a great job and I hope everyone drops in or picks up something to go! read more

When I came home with dinner from Slapfish, both teens walked into the kitchen, sat down, and asked us "are we celebrating something?" We happily shared with them that for a pretty reasonable price, Slapfish allowed our family to enjoy fresh lobster and shrimp for dinner on a random Wednesday in the middle of winter in land-locked Indiana. There was much rejoicing! Dinner that night was pretty quiet, because everyone was chowing down pretty hard. On our kitchen table we had a lobster grinder and fries, an epic shrimp burrito and fries, and an order of shrimp ceviche and fried pickles. Let's start with the lobster grinder. OMG, it looked amazing. Absolutely stuffed with large chunks of fresh lobster! Nothing minced in this sandwich. Our son said the flavor was creamy and and had just a bit of spicy in the aoli. He was stuffed from the sandwich, and barely touched his fries. Next up, the epic shrimp burrito. Again, huge portion. Husband finished the burrito and also barely touched his fries. He kept holding the open side of his burrito out to us so we could see how full it was of shrimp. He really enjoyed the awesomesauce that came with it and probably could have used about four little to-go containers of it, because he emptied it out pretty quickly. Next up, the shrimp ceviche and side of fried pickles. At first, when our daughter opened up her ceviche, she was a bit confused, because every time she's ordered it any restaurant, it's always been white-ish. Slapfish's shrimp ceviche is red! She thought it was salsa. However, she tried a bite on the seasoned chips it comes with, and a smile spread over her face. She said her fried pickles were tasty as well, but the awesomesauce was too spicy for her, so she offered it up to her father. We were all intrigued by the clobster grilled cheese that Slapfish has on their menu. But we all knew it wouldn't travel very well during the 25 minute drive back home in the middle of winter. No one wants congealed cheese. When the Covid vaccine is ready for our age bracket, we definitely want to dine in and order up a round of clobster grilled cheeses! read more
Slapfish really SLAPS!.... *budum tssss* But for real - if you have not been to Slapfish then you MUST GO! Everything about this place is amazing - the staff, the ambiance and of course the food! I went with my brother and his wife (Molly, a fellow Yelp Elite) and they both loved their entire experience as well! They had a Devour Indy menu so I got that, what a great deal especially for a first-timer to be able to get a starter and an entree for $15! I got the Lobster Dip with House Chips for my starter and this was a great choice! There were chunks of lobster in every single bite and the house-made chips were amazing and warm when they came out. I also got an order of the Lobster Taquitos for free thanks to Yelp! These were great and warm and the sauce that came on it was very tasty! The third and final thing I got was the Traditional Lobster Roll and WOW. This was my first-ever lobster roll and it was phenomenal - the lobster was soft and full of flavor and the seared roll added a much-needed crunch to create the perfect balance of flavor. The side I got was their simple salad and it was good - but I would have preferred the fries. The inside was awesome and wonderfully decorated - I loved their exposed brick wall behind the bar. Service: Waitress was wonderful and patient! Really enjoyed my experience with her. Ambiance: We were on the "waited on" side of Slapfish downtown. It wasn't super noisy. Very pleasant atmosphere. Food: We all enjoyed our food minus my friend's lobster mac and cheese which was seasoned heavily with spicy pepper making it inedible. The manager removed it from our tab. I personally really enjoyed trying a variety of fresh oysters on the half shell which Ill admit after having them living on the EastCoast I was worried just how fresh and tasty they would be however they were buttery, delicious and melted in your mouth. I also enjoyed the brunch clobster benedict. It was smooth, creamy with an added small crunch from green apple (a first) and the hollandaise was spot on! Potatoes were nicely crunchy as well. While I was stuffed after 1, I forced myself to eat the second knowing Eggs Benedict does not often save well. It was also so delicious I didnt want to stop! This is my second visit and plan many more trips to this location in the heart of downtown Indy! read more

So excited to finally try this place. Great space! Lots of seating available. It was nice that it is 'fast' food. Order at a counter and then find a seat if you are dining in. We sat in the bar area and by the time we ordered our drinks our appetizer was coming out. The TOTS! It was on the daily menu - these need to be a staple. They were amazing and filled with lobster. Came with a spicy dipping sauce and ranch. Amazing. If you see this on the menu- you have to try! For the main course, hubs got the epic shrimp burrito without onions. Packed with shrimp. Didn't quite see this when he ordered but it has rice and fries in it. Tastes really good but also makes for a very filling meal. I got the power bowl - then you can pick the fish! I chose the swordfish. Super fresh (both the veggies and the fish). The rice had a great seasoning on it. Dressing on the side, but honestly you didn't really need it. Lots of rice in the bowl- so very filling as well. The bar had a great selection of beer and drinks. I got a beer and nick got the spicy marg. It was too sweet, but really that was the only off thing on the entire visit. Overall, so glad we finally stopped here. Will be back again to try more of the menu! I'd like to say that I have been to the Slapfish in Noblesville twice before, once at a Yelp event. The owners of that Slapfish have expanded to Mass Ave. Apparently, Slapfish is a California franchise that offers something different than the standard fish and chips that many local seafood places offer. At Slapfish, you get a bit of the So Cal flavors as well as some healthier options than just fried food. If you check out their menu, you will see a street taco with options of grilled or breaded fish. The lobster taquitos (two per order) have a little bit of kick (heat) in the sauce that is drizzled over the crispy pastry filled with lobster. My wife went with the Hawaiian bowl that is a large serving of food, so don't let the price tag scare you off. She had enough to finish off at dinner later that evening! Since we went during the pandemic, most of Mass Avenue is closed to through traffic so that tables can be set up for outdoor eating. Here's a tip....If you are downtown, head north on Delaware to Vermont and look for street parking (most are metered.) Turn right (east) on Vermont and we found that Mass Ave was open from that side of the block and we were able to grab a parking space just a few steps from the Vonnegut Mural (another check-in opportunity). On the Saturday we went, there weren't a lot of patrons, so we had our choice of dining inside or outside. You still go inside to order and once you've paid, they give you a number stand to place on your table. Also note that softdrinks are self serve to the right of the order counter as are paper napkins. The bar was open, but no seating was allowed at the bar (Xs are across those seats). Ordering was quick and easy and before long, our food was brought out to us. I thought my orders were delicious and considering they were two of the lower priced items on the menu, I was especially pleased. My wife liked the Hawaiian bowl, but the kitchen did not make the change order my wife requested (we heard the cashier ask the kitchen if they could use just iceberg lettuce instead of a mix of greens and the cashier confirmed the change was easy.) So, my wife's initial impression was disappointed, but the flavors won her over. When it comes to raw veggies, she likes large slices, but not thickly cut. Just a bit of crunch, but not so small that she has to chase them around the bowl with her fork. She said all the veggies were fresh and crisp. The shrimp were grilled properly and were tasty too. The pineapple chunks were also grilled which she really liked too. So, overall, we had a good meal at this newly opened restaurant. Wanted to try Slapfish since they opened up on Mass Ave. They have a 25% off coupon from Dining Advantage so that made a perfect reason to finally visit. I opted for the "Lobster Grinder" since it's a cold sandwich vs. the Traditional Lobster Roll which is served warm. $15 before the discount was not bad at all for what I got. HUGE portions of lobster and crab overflowing from a golden brown buttered roll! The aioli had a slight spiciness and the lemon wedge to squeeze fresh lemon juice on the sandwich made it very tasty! Really enjoyed this sandwich and can not wait to go back and try some of their other items on the menu. The brewed ice tea they have is delicious as well! I'll be back soon! read more
Slapfish isn't a place I would normally go to be honest. I'm more of an overpriced salad bowl type of girl but I was in the area and decided to give this place a shot. Immediately the environment was trendy yet calm and not over crowded which I appreciate. We were seated right away and I got a high chair for my daughter with no problems. I got the surf and turf burger and i must admit , the fish was delicious! It's definitely not a place I'm going everyday but the food is undeniably great. If you're a seafood lover this is the place for you. read more

What a catch! We enjoyed the lobster roll, surf and turf burger, lettuce wrapped shrimp, clam chowder, and seasoned fries -- fun fact: all from bed #YouOnlyLiveOnce Call-ahead ordering was simple + you can carry-out canned adult-bevs, too (cheers!). Every single thing we ate was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Prices were very reasonable, but note that the lobster roll was market price (but very worth it). If you're looking for fast-causal resto that serves seafood, then Slapfish on Mass Ave is a great place to go. You can order your food for there or to-go (For référence, I had mine to-go.) I ordered the Fish & Chips. You receive two good size pieces of fish, and the batter is nice and crisp (you don't have more batter than fish). The fries are seasoned and you receive a good amount. The tartar sauce was too runny for my preference, but it had a good flavor. I would definitely order this meal again ! I received my food fairly quickly and it was still warm by the time I walked to my car and drove home (about 15 minutes). I will definitely be back to try other items on their menu- especially the lobster roll. Staff was friendly and the place seemed clean. Dang I love this place !! Where to begin?! My daughter is 4 and loves it here too! I've literally not tasted anything I don't like. My faves are the power bowl and clobster cake. Even though they are seafood based , they do have a $6 cheeseburger that my daughter loves ( and I don't mind the leftovers ). Love this location as it's close to home for us and we can stop by after we hit up Needlers. The Raw bar is attached next door which also had the best appletinis a girl could ask for ! They share mostly the same menu but is more "upscale". Would be perfect for a date night or night out with the girls ! I would legit work here part time for the discounts if I could find the time I'm telling you, if you haven't yet, give it a shot ! read more

Tried this spot on Mass Ave. for lunch and I was so impressed. They have indoor and outdoor seating that allows guests to feel comfortable and safe while dining. The restaurant is beautiful! I have visited the location before when it was Lou Vino, Slap Fish did a complete remodel and it is stunning. The food is phenomenal! They serve you more seafood than bread and I appreciate it! Slapfish is an approachable and delicious seafood spot serving up both classic & creative entrees with lobster as the main event. We recently ordered carry out and were so impressed with how well the food traveled (we are about 5-10 minutes away). The indoor dining space was so cute & well decorated. I am excited to dine in after COVID as Slapfish has a full bar & lots of tables. The food was delicious! Admittedly, this was my first lobster roll. The roll, the lobster & the sauce were all excellent and blended together nicely. Each bite offered flavors of all three components. The fries were crisp with tasty seasoning. We also orderer a surf & turf burger, which was huge! The awesome sauce offered a smokey aftertaste with a little kick. Lastly, the shrimp lettuce wraps were also great! I was surprised at the serving size as this is a side item (+$2 up charges). Over all, Slapfish is a great spot we can't wait to return to. First time visiting Slapfish and It did NOT disappoint! From the welcoming staff, to the upbeat atmosphere, to the flavorful food, I will definitely back. I ordered a Huckleberry Margarita and the size and flavor was amazing for $6. The entree I got was the Clobster Grilled Cheese with a side of Cole slaw. I have never had Lobster before and It was so delicious. The portions were great for the price as well. My friend ordered the burrito and stated It was great too. Slapfish has convenient parking in front that you pay by hour. All employees had a mask on and socially distancing was displayed. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal out! read more

They have nicely redecorated the old Louie's Wine Dive. Went to the bar to order some takeout. They have a solid drink menu and a decent selection of liquors, beers, and wine. The servers were all wearing masks. The lobster roll had a good amount of meat on it which was nice as it is market price ($23). It was very good! The French fries were plentiful too and had a nice seasoning on them. The power bowl came with shrimp, salmon, and tilapia, all of which were very fresh and delicious. The side salad was huge. It was saved for another meal. All in all, I will totally be back! read more

Takeaway: Great tasting unique take on seafood that comes out of the kitchen faster than you would expect. Stopped in at Slapfish for dinner this evening to test the waters. First thing I noticed was how the Mass Ave art flowed inside seamlessly with a beautiful mural by Koda right inside the door. Nice decor themed to the fare but still felt clean and bright. I went to the counter and at our request Riley did a great job walking us through suggested dishes. Even suggested altering the lobster roll to fit my keto diet. Nice! My GF and I picked a nice table and began soaking in the atmosphere. We barely got settled before they brought out our order. Super fast service! You know food is good when the table chatter falls silent to the quiet sounds of devouring. That happened immediately lol The Good: The lobster. I mean it's LOBSTER. If you don't like lobster, don't come here. Because you're weird. But seriously, they have all kinds of fish and seafood offerings so you're good to go. The Bad: The outside seating wasn't available. Stupid winter. Ugly: The look on my Gfs face when she ran out of awesome sauce and still had four fries left. Did I mention the awesome sauce was properly named? Get some! read more

MP, our Gluten Free includes Soy, so we always accommodate for Soy, Dairy, and Gluten allergies!!
Do you cook all of the proteins in butter? Are you able to accommodate someone with dairy allergy?
Yes, we accommodate for dairy allergy! Just make sure the advisor the cashier or server that you have a dairy allergy! We will cook the protein in a sauté pan with oil! If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to call and ask for Adam!
The Raw Bar at Slapfish doesn't have a menu. Somebody just told me they have oysters, but I thought they had many more things. Any more advice? Thanks

Are there gluten free options? Are the fries GF?
Yes! We have entire gluten free menu. Our fries are gluten free but do go into a frier that could possibly have had flour touch that oil. As a result we do not advertise our fries as gluten free.
