Tucked away off Victor Street in Barstow, this was a fun find while driving back to Los Angeles from Vegas over Memorial Day weekend. Big props to Haley M., who was basically running a one-woman show and somehow kept the entire place moving with a great attitude and solid service. That alone made the stop memorable. The location has a cool, laid-back vibe with plenty to keep people entertained while grabbing food and drinks. They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. If you're making the Vegas-to-LA drive and want something more memorable than the usual freeway fast-food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out. The shop had an assortment of jerky, loose leaf tea with a small variety of unique flavors, CBD tea, and instant mushroom coffee. I thought about ordering online, but that was 40-55 min and I realized that the prices online were more than the prices if you order and pay in the store plus a $1.75 service fee and you'd have to wait at the restaurant while they make it. There is also an arcade there for the kids to play. The cheapest prize was 50 tickets though so my kids weren't able to earn enough to get anything. But they had fun playing and we took the tickets home so they can just play arcade at home. Food itself tasted fine. No issues with the pizza. My kids liked it. We saw a lot of people eating at the salad bar too, so that must be good. We had a side salad and it tasted fresh. Good ranch dressing. This place also puts the Parmesan cheese on the fridge! Which is great because it's supposed to be refrigerated and many pizza places leave it out on the table all day. We would recommend this place.
