Was out in the area and wanted something simple. First off this place is all vibes. Chill and lax. All terrain vehicle grub spot. Lots of open parking. Owners proudly taking orders and live music by them as well. I got a double cheese burger, large chili cheese fries, onion rings and a hot dog with all the condiments. The burger was on point. Fresh and grilled fresh. Same with the hot dog. Chili cheese fries were good. Lots of beans in the chili. Big portion. And the onion rings are beer battered or appear that way. All the food was great. The prices were good too. Expect at home bbq style food. My only gripe was that all orders are all taken at the front by one person. Which backs up the line and creates a wait. Not all too bad.

The Hubbs and I had an impromptu climbing weekend trip and had to cut it short due to crazy wind gusts. We decided to stop at the cool looking cafe, in the middle of nowhere and it was GREAT! It's exactly what you'd expect from an American cafe/bar in the desert! Fun decorating, cool layout, excellent service, and yummy, no good for you American grub. This is a must stop, enjoy and eat kind of joint.

Great ride from Barstow Main to Slash X!

Employees are all super nice! Food is excellent. BEST STEAK!... not just for the middle of nowhere either! Family friendly vibes and great atmosphere. Our go to when camping/riding on the main!

Taking in the shade, listening to the one man band, waiting on our burgers. Good times!

Great pit stop for lunch when out riding in our Side by Side. Love when they have live music playing, sitting outside with their unique decor. Always a good time.

Stayed overnight in their Harvest Host area and came here for breakfast. We had the breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich and both were very good. It is a fun atmosphere with lots of collectibles. A great oasis in the middle of the desert!

We just have to try it once!! Good people. Good food. Good service. We love the decorations and history inside. We went off roading from 15hwy Stoddard Wells Rd through the desert about 45 mins to Barstow Rd 247. We have been off roading in the area for a while this is our 1st time eating here. Definitely will eat here again. Good vibes here!!

Got the breakfast burrito with both bacon and sausage, extra crispy my goodness. Really underrated breakfast spot and I passed by this spot for over 15 years. Wish it was open more often. Gonna try the Giddy up breakfast next time

Everyone here is in our party! Small part of available outdoor seating!!

It was large tacos that were so big I could only eat one! I finished the others for dinner so there was great value to the price of the meal! The fish was cooked perfectly, the slaw was fresh and the sauce had just the right amount of spiciness! Delicious!

The last time I'd been out to Barstow and stopped at Oggi's, was about 9 years ago. My family went…read morethere and the food was actually relatively good. This time was quite different. My wife liked the tortilla soup, but the spaghetti and meatballs wear subpar. Now I guess, I shouldn't expect good Italian food from basically a sports bar but I'll have to say it just was relatively bland. I ordered the habanero pineapple boneless wings thinking they would be spicy-- they were not. Now I will admit, I've gotten used to hot sauce so maybe that's why they weren't that spicy. I'm not sure if they're supposed to be soft, but the boneless wings were not crispy, maybe the sauce made the better soft. But, I did not like it, I was expecting more crispy. But again, maybe is this is the way that they're served. The ambience is okay it's a sports bar. Kind of small as well but very busy. The service was great. I was greeted within less than 2 minutes from sitting down, and I had multiple servers taking care of my table. So definitely they're not lacking in service. I just think since the last time I went there and this time the quality of food has diminished.

(4.25 STARS)…read more Memorial Day road trips always seem to create the best random discoveries, and Pit Stop Bar & Grill absolutely delivered. Tucked away off Victor Street in Barstow, this was a fun find while driving back to Los Angeles from Vegas over Memorial Day weekend. Big props to Haley M., who was basically running a one-woman show and somehow kept the entire place moving with a great attitude and solid service. That alone made the stop memorable. The location has a cool, laid-back vibe with plenty to keep people entertained while grabbing food and drinks. They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. It was simple, respectful, and genuinely touching. See my picture. That detail said a lot about the heart behind this place. If you're making the Vegas-to-LA drive and want something more memorable than the usual freeway fast-food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out. Great atmosphere, friendly energy, and one of those spots you end up talking about later.

Great small family ran business. If you are in or passing through Yermo and don't mind eating outside with a chill vibe, (we prefer outside) this place will not disappoint. We ordered chili cheese burger's with grilled onions and jalapeños and chili cheese fries with grilled onions and jalapeños as well and washed it all down with Mr. Pibb. Yes they have Mr. Pibb! The best soda EVER and hard to find. Our delicious burgers were flavorful and juicy and NOT thin cardboard. Chili cheese fries were amazing too. Great people, great food!!! We will be making this little hidden gem a must stop, when passing through Yermo. Thank you Richard and Mary. God bless you both, your mom and this special place too! If you're tired of the tourist crowds and lines at EddieWorld, I recommend this place for the convenience. I ordered the pastrami sandwich with fries based on the friendly guy's recommendation inside the order window. The $14.00 price was reasonable. Service was slow, though. I guess it's because he's the only guy there taking orders and making the food. By the time I took a bite of the pastrami sandwich, the wait was worth it. The taste is what you'd expect from a "typical" pastrami sandwich made fresh. I've had some phenomenal pastramis in my lifetime, and when I say "typical", it's a complement.
