23 of my closest friends and family joined me to celebrate my birthday at Slashers, and did we ever have fun! This place is axe throwing on a whole new level. My guests and I dressed up like "campers" so we could really get into the experience. We were met at the door with a hardy, "Welcome, Campers!" and from that moment on, we were transported into an immersive experience like no other! The place is like Disneyland for axe throwing! The decor is on point with horror themed touches everywhere. It was almost impossible to take it all in! Our Camp Counselor, Amanda, was awesome. She gave us the rules and some axe throwing tips, and then she was there to support us as needed. The bartender, Luke, kept the beer flowing, created horror themed drinks, and kept us entertained with his jovial personality. Bruce, laughing manically, marked the hours as we played. We brought in pizza for dinner, and when it was time for cake, the bartender brought out a special cake cutting axe for me! I've been axe throwing a few times before, but slashers was definitely the coolest! First, it keeps its horror theme through the entire place, from the parking lot to the lanes. The employees are really friendly and helpful too. The drinks were tasty and of course themed as well. Lastly, the lanes have projected images on the target so you can change the game you're playing- you aren't just throwing at a boring target for hours. Our family favorite was tic tac toe, followed by bowling. Lots of fun options that made our two hours fly by. 10/10 would definitely recommend! read more

I'm not big on ale, but the drink I ordered pictured below (What We Drink in the Shadows) exceeded my expectations especially the ooey gooey tangy rim . We had such a great time at Slashers Axe Throwing & Ales! You don't have to love horror movies to have a fun time...but if you are an 80's horror movie fan, you'll love the atmosphere ;) We went with another couple and played on the "Freddy" and "Candyman" lanes last night. I've been axe throwing before and thought it was fun, but nothing compares to this place! They have so many games to choose from, not just standard bullseye-type targets. We played axe bowing (boys against the girls...girls won, of course), we played a space invaders-type game where you try to hit the UFOs, and then tic-tac-toe. The hour went by so fast that we added more time to our lane. Our "Camp Counselor," Jose, was so helpful in teaching us how to throw correctly. And, Amanda, behind the bar, was so knowledgeable about the different beers and ciders they had to choose from. It was a great time! I plan to throw my next birthday party there! read more

Been to a few axe throwing places over the years and this one by far is the most interesting. They have gone all in on their theme and it helps with the whole experience. The lanes themselves are more than just a basic target to throw at too! With a multitude of different games it really shakes up the whole throwing experience. And another major plus, they serve a variety of beers on site in one of the coolest designed bar sections I have seen in a while!
