I enjoy eating at any other smashburger location. To start with I ordered the big smash and when it came out both of my kids burgers had more actual meat on them. When I tried to point this out to staff they said that is the way it is and they can do anything to fix it. We are a family that does not like cheese and despite not being charged for it all of the burgers had cheese on them. They were sent back and when the "correctly" prepared burgers came back the fries in the baskets were cold. Don't bother asking for the manager because there was not one on duty at 7pm. I guess management does not care about the diner crowd. Again smashburger is good but this location and major issues and will not get another visit from me. I have attached a picture of the patio surface that is turned black with filth. This area should be cleaned with the rest of the store but why would they want to attract customers. read more

Smash is a custom burger joint, sort of like Five Guys if you're familiar with them, but with some different options on the menu. Had plenty of seating and restaurant was clean. Standard fountain drink self-service set-up. I thought the pub burger I tried was pretty good, but not great. It was very greasy (puddle of grease on my plate under it). Expect to go over $10 for a burger, fries and drink here. For the price I would've expected a better burger and less grease. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. Major downfall, I think this place is pricey. 30$ for two burgers and fries (portion on fries was huge though) that were average. My husband had the Baja jalapeño burger and didn't like that raw thick slices of jalapeño was on the burger, maybe it would be better if they were grilled. I ate the avocado bacon melt burger, it was seasoned nicely. Bun was too small for the burger so my last few bites were pretty messy. Overall, quick service but it seems like a place that wants to be five guys with "styled" burgers that are mediocre. I bought an Enjoy The City coupon book from a local high school that had an app for a free entree with a purchase of equal value. The cashier said they couldn't take it, didn't know how to use it. I said I had used it before. The "team leader" then came over and said they had problems with coupons. I explained I had paid 25.00 to support a local high school and this coupon had this stores address on it that they couldn't just decide not to take it. I asked for a manager. She girl disappears to the back for about five minutes. Came back out and said the manager didn't have time to speak to me. He said to get my information. Won't be back. Honestly. What can I say. It's a burger joint really. With some good fries and Milk shakes. When you walk in there usually is a little bit of a line Menus are on the wall next to the door, grab one and get started as it will speed up the line. They have turkey and beef burgers, even chicken sandwiches. the staff is friendly, super helpful. We have always gotten the food for take put so I can not say how the dinning is. I joined my sister for lunch here a few weeks ago and was very impressed! I ordered a Classic (I think this is the name?) Cheesburger with fries and a drink. I don't think I've ever eaten a burger that fast! It was delicious. Juicy, tasteful and not greasy. Smashburger reminds me a lot of Five Guys - with less grease. Love it. And their fries are GREAT! Shoestring fries are hard to come by in restaurants and fast food chains so it was a pleasant and tasty surprise. The prices were a tad high, but the taste was there. We've been here twice and the first time was just ok. It's an overpriced burger joint. ($42 for 2 adults and 3 kids) The Carolina Chili Smashburger was fine, nothing to write home about. I came here for a light dinner that was their avocado burger and a drink. I decided to try it out as I had a $2 off $5 coupon. We went here the other night. It was the first time we had ever been to a Smashburger. I wasn't aware it is a chain store. The store is brand new, they sell overpriced hamburgers... and a few other items. The coke machine was cool, it is the new digital kind like you can find over across the street at Moe's. All in all, went out with the wife and 7 year old daughter, paid over $35 for the three of us to eat hamburgers. Doubt we go back anytime soon. The place is clean, parking is limited and the atmosphere is a fast paced eating experience. I came here on a weekend before a movie to eat lunch. It was my first time actually eating at a Smash Burger. I had their fries but that's about it. It wasn't too busy as there were three people in front of us and a few empty tables. I ordered the black bean burger with garlic fries. The burger was ok. Not a lot of flavor on the actual burger. The ranch that I got made everything taste much better. The fries were shoestring and covered with garlic salt and chopped parsley. I was bummed by how much oil was at the bottom of the tray container and pretty much made the bottom layer of fries oily. On top of it all the place was disgusting. There was trash all over the floor and no one seemed to be cleaning just delivering food and taking out the trash. It did not make for pleasant eating. I found the fork I grabbed to have caked on food so my boyfriend went up to the window to grab another one. I should have known grabbing it from the community pile near the soda machines. Oh and the soda machines were dismal! The coke machines that allow you to choose various Coca-Cola products from multiple screens only had four options! Those things hold like 30 different options so that was terrible. I ended up getting tea because they didn't even have coke in the machine. I gave this establishment three stars only because the food has good potential and probably would be better another day but it seemed like everything that could have gone wrong went wrong that day. read more

First time patron. I had the bacon cheeseburger on the egg bun. Awesome taste at the value. The fries were the small shoe string ones that I usually don't care for and were a bit too salty. I would recommend order no salt and put your own amount on the fries. The atmosphere was a bit loud and I had to speak up for my wife to hear me. Other than than, the establishment (including the bathroom) was clean. The staff was patient and understood it was our first time coming in to eat there. I got the mushroom Swiss burger and the chicken salad for the wife for some quick lunch and wife loved the salad and the kitchen willing to triple rinsed the salad for her upon requested. I feel it is overpriced for what you get. The sides and drinks are ala cart. I had the club fried chicken sandwich and was disappointed, it was dry and tasteless. This was our first time at Smashburger, so we weren't familiar with the menu. The big menu on the wall only had double burgers and loaded ones, so I asked for a single. I was immediately informed I wasn't at Wendy's. So, I rephrase, asking for a single patty burger. I started telling the cashier what I wanted on the burger but she kept interrupting. The I asked for fries and she asked what I wanted as a side. I said "fries" and she got flustered. We ordered 2 regular burgers, one order of fries and two regular iced teas. The total was about $19. Sounded high, but we didn't question the total. After paying, I went to get straws and napkins. You have to ask a worker to get them for you. We decided to eat outside. It was about 2 pm and there were no other customers outside, but ALL the tables and the area around them were dirty. I went back inside and asked if someone would clean a table. The guy came out fairly soon and washed one table. He didn't wipe the chairs at all. Then he walked back inside without wiping down any of the others. Why not just clean them all while you're there? My friends ordered me the Blackbean Avocado Ranch burger, since I'm a vegetarian.. and let me tell you.. it was super tasty!!! The fries also are really good! Like many have said, when they first opened this was the spot to be for Burgers for me and the fam. We came here every other weekend, best burger in town. But as of lately...my burger was red, they fixed it but it still wasn't any better. Fries are way too salty, they squash the patty to where it breaks apart. The staff is clearly not the same, they hired a bunch of teens and we get it, they need jobs but you could train them on Customer Service.
