Snarfs is alway a solid sandwich spot. The cashier was nice and the sandwiches came out quick. It's a pretty causal place to eat. You can eat inside or outside. They also had the good speciality sodas and Zappos chips are always so good

Very good sandwich. I haven't had pastrami sandwich in long time. First I thought cold but it's warm sandwich. I add sliced onions and mustard in it very good. I'd come back again for hot dog!

Came here for a quick lunch with a friend and service is always pretty fast and there's always somewhere to sit inside. I ordered a Turkey & Swiss Cheese on wheat.

I was working in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for a late breakfast. I decided to get a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and it was pretty good. It's nice to know that they serve breakfast all day. The service was prompt and about the only complaint I would have is that, I'm not big on hearing loud music.

Grabbed a sandwich and cookie to go after a busy day! The sandwiches were warmed and made well. It was very quick and casual.

I ordered for delivery and the sandwich was made incorrectly and the bread tasted stale. I just wanted a good turkey sandwich but this did not deliver. The tomato soup was pretty good. I chose this place cause it's a smaller chain than potbelly and has a presence here in STL. Sadly, after this I'm sticking with potbelly.

The Snarf's in skinker never disappoints. Quality ingredients, nice people and great parking! Being located next to Wash U they were very busy for lunch and did a nice job keeping the flow of orders coming out. Absolutely worth the wait! Check'em out!

Roast Beef and Provolone (7 inch)

Ordered a Roast Beef and Provolone (7 inch) sandwich for with lettuce, tomato, peppers and onions for takeout as part of a work lunch. I was a bit worried that a 7 in sandwich would not be enough food but I was definitely mistaken. I was pleasantly surprised to see my sandwich absolutely STUFFED with meat and toppings. It was super filling! The toasted roll was also a great touch. I would definitely recommend Snarf's and will be returning in the future.

Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful to newbies. Sandwich was amazing. Oatmeal & chocolate are good. Back to 1960's. Will definitely come back next time we are in the neighborhood.

Amazing Sandwiches, Me and my girlfriend went there on a Sunday night at 7:30 and the three people working we're friendly and had goood attitudes. I wasn't sure what I wanted but knew it would need to have a lot of meat to fill me up. They recommended the Big snarf and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a solid sandwich shop.

It's snarf's, so that means it's better than subway and jimmy john's but far less superior than Blue City Deli. It might be better than which which? The thing about this location is it's near the Loop, but not on the Loop. So it has some parking near forest park. Why the hell do we need 2 snarfs that is .25 from each other? Nevertheless, I adore this location. It has ice-cream, lots of seating, patios with pretty lights, beer, wifi, and it is located in a building where I use to live. I'm so glad it wasn't there when I lived there b/c I'll be here everyday - but at least I could bum off the wifi when I'm in the main lobby. Things to note: 1) No banana peppers! Only hot peppers! 2) Sometimes- the water and soda machine is broken 3) 1 TV for games 4) Music is relatively loud in here, so I wouldn't really study/do work here unless you are on the patio.

Such a great place for a yummy sandwich. I personally love extra meat and my sandwich toasted a little extra with the veggies on it bc i like a hot sandwich. Their pepper mix that they sell is outstanding and honestly makes the sandwich extra special. I do enjoy their potato salad as well!! For a quick well made sandwich, you'll be pleased with this stop. I especially like this location.

This was my first sandwich here. I had the Italian. It was good. This is a short drive from forest park. We got sandwiches to take to the Muny, so it worked well. The guy working did a great job taking care of a food allergy and vegan. I'll be back.

Honestly, the 2 soups I tried the other night are still on my mind and I am trying to figure out how to have them again! How can I re-create them? How can I purchase a gallon of them? I cannot wait for the next pop up! When we went to The Vandy the other night for some cocktails, we knew that Soul Soup would be on the scene serving up 2 different soups for us to try (The High Life and Thai Me Up). The menu was posted on Angie's Insta page a few days in advance of the pop up (see photo of the menu) and I just knew we had to try them both! When we arrived and placed our cocktail orders, we also asked for a bowl of each of the soups to try and when they were brought out the table, they were piping hot and smelled so good! I was happy to know that rather than adding in the bacon to the High Life, they could serve it on the side so that my dining partner could enjoy the bacon while I just wanted to enjoy the soup with the pretzel bites no bacon! Two bowls of soup was a perfect amount for the 2 of us to share and when we were finished, Angie came out of the kitchen to meet some of the customers - it was so nice to meet Angie and she is seriously so friendly! I will keep my eyes peeled to her Insta to see when and where she will be next and you should too! It's soup season and if you want some of the best soup in STL, this is the place to find!

It was pretty busy inside and on the patio, so definitely recommend reservations. The staff was very friendly and helped us pick out good options. We were celebrating my friend's birthday so they gave him a free cookie! So kind of them and such a good cookie!! Lots of big chocolate chunks. We also ordered a slice of almond polenta cake and it was fantastic. Overall, a great little spot with good service and food, so I'll have to come back to try their lunch menu!

The inside is small, maybe around 20 seats, though I think there's an outdoor area too. We got seated after about 15 to 20 minutes for a party of 3 with no reservation. The menu is simple but really well done and very vegetarian friendly. I got the butternut squash soup which was so warm and comforting, and the egg salad sandwich was my favorite. Super filling and flavorful. My friend got the smoked beet sandwich and you can really taste the smokiness and it was like a vegetarian BBQ. Another friend did the soup and sandwich combo and loved it. Our server was really sweet and forgot a couple things but honestly given how slammed they were I completely get it. The bread lives up to the hype. Definitely a must if you're in the area and want a really solid lunch.

I flinch whenever I hear the "movoc" and I get so excited I want to throw up whenever someone suggests going to movoc for a hangout. There are lots of toppings to choose from, and I think that the concept of hot pot price by weight just like FroYo is fun and unique. Service is fast, and clean. The hot pot was delicious and not too spicy and the sauces they had to offer were very delicious as well. Not too salty. It's a wonderful place, whether you go alone or with friends.

This was my first experience at a hot pot by the pound restaurant. I've only been to all you can…read moreeat hot pot restaurants, so I was excited to try this place out. Apparently, I wasn't the only one because this place got packed by 6p on a weekday! The line was out the door. It can be a little confusing for a first time goer as you enter the place and grab a bowl to select the ingredients you want to eat. The minimum weight that you have to buy is 0.9 lbs, but you really won't know how much your bowl weighs until you get up to the cashier and put it on the scale. My bowl was underweight my first time through, so I went back to grab more ingredients. If I had to guess the minimum cost for a 0.9 lb bowl, it's probably about $16, which is a pretty good price for a hot pot. My bowl weighed about 0.97 and it was way more than I could comfortably eat. The next decision you have to make after you have selected your ingredients is the base and spicy level. I went with #1 Oil splash spicy soup at medium spice level. Now, I enjoy spicy foods, but this was at the upper limit of enjoyability. Although tasty, I think the oil in the broth got to be too much and I will want to try a different base next time. After you pay for your food, you get a number which you take to a table of your choosing and wait for your bowl to come out (they cook it for you). There is a drinking water station next to the free rice station, which was around the corner from the complimentary pickled vegetable station. Overall, positive experience and I would return for more. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2026

There wasn't that much line when I went, they take your other at the kiosk by the bar. They have a large assortment of sandwiches, comes in whole OR half (which is half the price of a whole). I ordered 2 half sandwiches, "The Meatball" and "The Steak Out". It didn't take long at all to make my sandwiches and they also have options to customize specialty sandwiches if specific toppings are wanted. The Steak Out was the 1st sandwich tried, and was the best one out of the two. The steak was cooked medium rare but isn't too rare at all or overcooked past that if you are worried about that either. Not only that, but the jalapenos and the pepper mayo are to die for, and they didn't completely soak it in sauce (which is a common concern as well). Everything tastes so freshly made, with half a sandwich honestly being more than enough for 1 sitting. Overall rating 8.9/10. The Meatball was very good as well, meatballs were cooked well throughout and tender to the bite. I am not completely mad at the Baguette being the bread of choice but they couldn't have went wrong with ciabatta neither. It was a very solid sandwich, nothing too extraordinary but nothing I can really complain about neither. Overall rating 8.3/10. In past visits, I have also tried the Enzo Gorlomi (basically a spicy italian) which I thought was better than both sandwiches I tried during that visit, but I may be biased because I love spicy italian sandwiches. Should still try though in my opinion. All in all, I would definitely come back to this place when I'm in the area, pricing is pretty good for the food amount and quality you are getting. Vibes are cool in there, they seem like a business with a lot of experience doing what they do. I wouldn't say they are the absolute best in St. Louis... yet, but they are definitely up there for sure. They are also open until 1:30AM Tues - Sat so its a great late night option.
