Heuvos de Fred. Great sourdough toast!
    Bob J.

Been driving and riding my bike by here for years. Finally stopped in. Great people from the waitress to the manager to Ron the bus boy. Super friendly and helpful with advice. Maybe because I was a solo diner they gave me a little more love. Plenty of parking in the lot out front. Large interior not obvious from outside. Noise level high as it's a concrete floor. Saturday late morning it was fairly full and bustling with families. Clean. Tables cleared promptly of dirty dishes. I had the huevos de Fred which was eggs over hash browns. Solid flavor melange. Salsa was really good and I'd get a second helping of salsa next time. Sourdough toast a standout. Thick and nice texture, loaded up with butter. Orange juice seemed a little watery but cold and refreshing. Not top notch food and at $20 including tip, not a cheap breakfast. But the cordial staff go a long way with me and elevate the experience to four stars.

One of my very favorite places for breakfast! Outstanding omelettes, great breakfast options, and really incredible blueberry pancakes! The owners and staff are friendly and fun! They have a full lunch menu and daily specials, but whenever I walk in that door, I'm having breakfast!

We love Snooty Pig! We regularly go after sporting events or church and love the quick, friendly service and big portions. We usually go for breakfast items but their lunch options are also great. I love the small town, family owned, homey environment. Always a good choice!

Well, not what it used to be and this just makes me sad. My son needed to run to Argyle for an…read moreerrand and we decided to have him pick up Earl's on the way home. We hadn't been since their renovation. Yayyy, Earl's! Not so fast. The prices have gone up quite a bit and the quality, way down. We ordered the Italian Cobb and it was good but a bit sparse - not packed full of all the yumminess it's made of anymore. Nonna's meatballs were the biggest disappointment. They have gone up almost $5 I believe and whoever's Nonna made them, overcooked or microwaved them to death. They used to be SO good! Now, they aren't. We ordered 3 pizzas - the Bianca, the Margherita and the BBQ Arezzo. The Bianca was good, the Margherita was good but a little sparse and the BBQ Arezzo was awful. Like, nobody would eat it awful and that's pretty bad. I don't know if ingredients were bad or what but there was little to no sauce and it was just...bad. So bad that I called and spoke to the manager that offered a free pizza - NO thanks - or a refund. I opted for the refund and because we still have not gotten a refund for the 1 pizza only, I decided to write a review. We have literally been going to Earl's for YEARS and it has always been amazing. I looked past the prices going up because the price of food had gone up but when nobody will eat the food because it tastes horrible or is overcooked and we have spent close to $100, I'm out. Not sure what's going on but they definitely need a new Nonna to whip them back into shape.

This quaint spot has been standing for more than 140 years and now serves as a restaurant and live music venue on the weekends. The bar is dark, woody, and full of character and gives off the kind of vibe that makes you want to come back for an evening of music and drinks. We chose to sit in the bright front room with its abundance of windows and natural light. We started with the deviled eggs topped with bacon jam for an appetizer. Those we gobbled fast. I ordered the Wagyu House Burger with whipped jalapeño, goat cheese, and bacon jam served with tots. The burger is hardy cook cooked well and the goat cheese was a standout. My date had the chicken fried steak and after stealing a few bites I can confidently say that's what I'll be ordering next time. That was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, making an already enjoyable meal even better. We left full happy and completely charmed by both the restaurant and the surrounding area.

The food arrived on a plate instead of as a bowl, which threw me off a bit since I was expecting it to be served the way it's described. The hash browns were the highlight -- good portion and tasty. The sausage patty, though, was a little tough and had an odd texture, and it was just a single small patty. The avocado portion was also pretty tiny. I also tried a side of sausage gravy, but it wasn't the classic country-style gravy I was expecting. It was thinner, more heavily spiced, and had big sausage chunks instead of a crumble. It wasn't a bad meal overall, and I'd still come back -- I'd just try something different next time, maybe the steak and eggs.
