Food was amazing!! The breakfast tacos- GET THEM. So much flavor in each bite. The hollandaise sauce was perfection on top but I also added green salsa which brought it all together. I'm not a big fan of their hashbrown since it's more mushy than crunchy, but that's my preference. Service was fast! Which was different since there's always a line. Actually, I put myself on the waiting list through Yelp and was following my position when all of a sudden they removed my name when we were 6 minutes away. When I checked, it did say that there was no current wait time but ah, the anxiety that overcame me because that could've easily changed within the 6 minutes we were out. Only downside to the review. SPACE: If you haven't been, then know that the ambience is very warm, friendly and happy. We joined the waitlist at 10:40am and we were in 1st place at 11:45. Yelp app said no need to check in with the host. I confirmed the party through text as soon as we were in 1st place and drove to the place (we live in the neighborhood across the street from the Town & Country - a 2 min drive). We sat in the car and decided we were only going to go in once we get the text that the table is ready. Tell me why, it's already 12:06pm, and we still have not gotten a text even though we see a lot of people have left the restaurant already. We decided to just go in and see what is going on. We got inside to let them know we have been waiting a long time to get the table is ready text. The two ladies (yellow and red shirt) at the front stated "oh we have not sent it because you have not checked in at the front". I explained to them that the app said no need to check in and she said "Yeah, no you do need to check in. But we'll send you a text as soon as the next table is ready", so I just smiled and agreed. I did notice them giggling, especially the one on the right wearing a red shirt, to themselves as we were walking outside to wait. I found out why a couple seconds later :) I received a text saying "Please proceed to the front desk to check-in." Wow! The audacity to lie in our faces knowing she did not trigger the text to let us know we need to check in! Husband and I got pissed off by this that we nearly decided to drop off even though we were craving their Habanero Pork Belly benny after doing the Whataburger 10k :) Decided to not let the front of the house ruin our favorite brunch place, we proceeded and had the best meal! Habanero Pork Belly Benny - 10/10 as always We also came back for the Strawberry Martini Mimosa (coz yay for Tito's) but we also tried the Boozy Blackberry Mint Limeade and this is now my new go to drink from Snooze!! Had heard how great this restaurant was so we tried it out. Was not overly impressed although I'm not into high calorie meals which was their specialty. Service was good; I was told "there is always a wait" but they seated us within the time window. Server was nice and helpful but as I mentioned the menu was not my thing. We absolutely love this place. We were looking for a brunch place on a Monday and there just isn't a lot to pick from. We love snooze so we decided to try this location. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff and they welcomed us to sit outside. We love being on any kind of patio so even though it was a little cool we did. It was quiet and we were able to laugh and have a good time. We got a pancake flight for the table. Oommmgggg it was sooo good. I was skeptical of the macadamia nut pancake but it was so tasty. I got the spuds deluxe with jalapeños and ham and my eggs over medium. I could eat here every day. The drinks were also spot on. We sat at the bar and our bartender was super nice. I had already looked at the menu before hand so I knew what I wanted. I ordered the Monte Cristo Bricohe Toast and my friend ordered the Snooze Classic with a pancake. We both ordered a Morning Marg. Literally, the Morning Marg hit hard - I underestimated this drink. We are fans of Snooze. We go every other Sunday with family and the environment is kid friendly. We usually check in through yelp before we get there. But this time we went there around 12:15pm and we could sit immediately. Their pancake flight is really good. It has 3 types of pancakes in it. The sweet potato one is to die for really. All of them were good. Earlier we tried their omelettes. They're good too! Definitely try this place. If you're not an early riser then try checking in through yelp before going there. Even though there's a Snooze by my house, a friend wanted to meet at this location so it took me about 15 mins to get here from uptown. There was a 40 min wait (Saturday at 12pm) so I put my name down and walked over to Williams Sonoma while I waited. Within 7 mins, I got the text saying my table was ready so I was definitely pleased. I got seated even without my friend being there so I went and ordered. I got the veggie omelette, one pancake and one of their speciality mimosa (traded the tequila for mimosa). The food came out relatively quickly but left alot to be desired. The omelette had no flavor, the mimosa was terrible and that one pancake cost $6.50. So, safe to say Snooze was a Snooze but the staff was great and I also liked how they bring you the machine to pay without hovering over you. More places should employ that. read more

Benedicts are my go-to breakfast item and as a lover of sampler plates, I obviously had to get the the BENNY DUO. For the duo, I chose the BELLA! BELLA! BENNY and the LOX-N-LATKE BENNY (the lox was an extra charge for $17.95 total). BELLA! BELLA! BENNY: I tried the Bella first, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The toasted ciabatta was an interesting twist from the typical English muffin, but I still prefer the texture of an english muffin better. I'm sure you can substitute it if you agree. Overall, though, this was a solid take on a Benedict! Definitely worth a try for Benedict lovers. LOX-N-LATKE BENNY (w/ English muffin instead of latke): I tried this after the Bella and felt like it blew the Bella out of the water lol not to say it wasn't good, but that the lox was ten times better. It was like an explosion of flavor! I've been going to Snooze for a long time because I genuinely love the food. I've had a few bad service experiences in the past, but I never left a review -- I chose to stay quiet, hoping things would improve. But after what happened on Thursday morning around 10:30 AM, I can't stay quiet anymore. I came in with friends, and from the moment we sat down, the server was rude, rushed, and dismissive. She argued with me about my order, didn't let my friend say a word before cutting him off and saying, "OK, bye," and walked away. I asked the manager to assign a different server. He admitted she was rushing because she was "busy" and said he'd send someone else but no one ever came. Later, another manager (a woman) came over and told us there were no other servers in that section and we'd need to go on the waiting list. We decided to leave and even then, no apology from either manager. The response was simply, "OK, no problem." What's most frustrating is the total lack of professionalism and care not just from the server, but from the managers as well. I couldn't write this review the same day because I was busy, but I'm writing it now because I want the owner to see how their employees are representing the business -- and how that's costing loyal customers. I've been coming to Snooze for a while, and despite previous bad service, I never complained. But this experience crossed the line. We came at 1pm on a Saturday but used Yelp's waitlist to get in line while driving in. We ended up being 16th in line but we're 3rd by the time we got there! The waitlist feature was awesome and pretty darn accurate in wait times as well. I was really impressed. Snooze is a chain breakfast/brunch place originally from Denver. It's cool ambiance and mouth watering menu leaves little to be desired. I ordered the breakfast pot pie with my eggs in the side. This is my go to for good reason - it's full of flavor, filling and flaky phyllo dough crust. For the table, we ordered a flight of pancakes (we chose chocolate chip, blueberry and OMG French toast) along with a cinnamon roll pancake. The OMG French toast stays true to its name - I literally said OMG when I took my first bite. Yes, it is THAT good. The pancakes were soft and fluffy and full of flavor, even without syrup! The waitstaff were all super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean. With all that and great food, it's a no brained to come to Snooze for your breakfast fix. read more

The plate was full of oil, and the flavor of the food was just ehhh.. my sister had the crab omelette which she drowned in hot sauce (not pictured drowned in hot sauce lol) for a little extra flavor. I was very underwhelmed with my breakfast this morning. I guess i had high hopes for my first meal In Texas. The hash browns were good tho. I like this place, enough to come back, but my only main hesitation was the waiter, because he seemed upset with life, like, "Why am I working here?" kinda vibe. I get it, working a restaurants suck, but when you are that miserable what if we were the kinda patrons that took that out of your tip? And asking for a table to be wiped down again, because pancake crumbs were left, isn't being difficult. It's just basic not gross restaurant business manners. He came by for the orders, everything was correct, and then came back once again with the check. Had he come back to check on us in between, I would have told him to keep sending me those overpriced, but heavenly tasty Lavender lattes. Seriously, I would have taken one to go home too. It was that delicious, but the guy came back with the check. I wasn't going to order one at that point. It may be to other people. As for the food, there meals are just overall very pretty and edible. Like, I think eggs benedict, sunny side up eggs, and any type of egg that isn't scrambled is just nasty. However, they made this egg benedict thing that looked absolutely delicious that I almost wanted to try what my husband ordered. Almost. No other restaurant that serves eggs benedict ever made me want to try one. I ordered like this baked potato thing made of mostly hash browns. I added the barbacoa which was decent, not perfect, and mushrooms. My friend had a pancake. Everyone was really happy with there meal. So was I, even though I was slightly critical about the barbacoa, but we're talking about a girl who has had the best barbacoa in the world growing up, so I get to be slightly more picky about that. The atmosphere and remaining staff seemed jubilant, minus our Eeyore waiter who hated life. I may try a different Snooze location, as its the first time I ever went to one. I definitely want to go again, but maybe one with a waiter who is willing to allow me to foolishly drain my cash for overpriced Lavender lattes, because I can't get those things out of my mind and have no idea how to make one. read more
