Salima is in charge of design and style (all complimentary and no charge!), and Ameen is in charge of structure and layout. They work together to make sure that your final product will be seamless. They coordinate your project for you and save you from alot of the headaches of trades people who don't show or flake on you or do shoddy work. We built our house from scratch and were overwhelmed as we did not have a good grasp on the final vision for our home. We didn't know where to start as our contractor was useless. When I had read all of the prior reviews for Sognare about how they work together and complete your project when you just need your project saved, it is all true! Salima is amazing. She helps you narrow down your style as well as picking tiles, finishes that will work for your lifestyle. She's also honest. If you have a price range, she works within your budget to keep you closer to your budget and finding alternative options. If she doesn't really like what you picked, she will be honest and still polite by letting you know why it may not worn together. We have 5 beautifully done bathrooms. All bathrooms have a very different feel from the others. Our kitchen is modern and yet classic. Despite having many questions and feeling indecisive about some of my choices, she has always been patient and helpful revisiting the same ideas and thoughts over and over again. They are also the most honest company and group of tradespeople that you will work with. We had ordered a tile from them. The tile company changed the producer of this and so the tile Pattern was significantly different. Although the tile was already paid for AND halfway installed, they agreed that the tile pattern was not the same as what I had seen in their showroom. They ate the cost of the tile and installation. This is how honest they are. Ameen has his own team of installers. If you choose tile from Sognare and choose Ameen and his crew to install, your headache will be nonexistent. Since it is from the same team, the delivery and installation is all coordinated. You save yourself the headache of being there when tile is delivered, scheduling the floor installer, scheduling the plumber etc... Ameen also has many ideas about layout, and also offers solutions and design layout from a structural standpoint while Salima offers the design from colors and patterns standpoint. We have referred many of our friends to them and will continue to refer them. We have a beautiful home because of Salima and Ameen. If you are not happy with something, they will work with you to see how they can remedy the issue. In addition, Salima is able to help place orders with major furniture companies such Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware etc... when there has been any issue with the furniture, since it was ordered by a designer, these companies are a million times more receptive than if you were just a basic customer ordering. Sognare Tile did a great job transforming the look and feel of my kitchen. My house came with an ugly stock granite countertop and backsplash. Ameen and team replaced the countertops with white quartz, and did a waterfall design for the island. They also replaced the backsplash with a white subway tile. We found the black hexagon tile we were looking for on their online store. Salima was incredibly patient and helpful. She made sure I knew she wanted to do anything she could to earn my business. As a first time remodeler I was pretty lost and confused when it came to picking out tiles. Searched for weeks online to find something unique and found it, but then had trouble finding a retailer that carried it. Once I found them, Songare did a great job responding to me and even went into the warehouse to show me the actual product with picture next to a tape measure to make sure it was what I needed. They also kept in communication all along the shipping process to make sure I knew what to expect. We have gotten all of our tile through her and can get them much less expensive than many of the other places we have been. She never makes you feel like she is competing with anybody else or if you have to get something from someone else, she doesn't make you feel like it should have been through her. Sognare is open until 6 so it was convenient to drop by after shopping at all the other places that closed at 5. Although the store is small, their selection rivals that of larger stores. Salima was able to help us find the tile we wanted for our laundry room and eventually our kitchen. She is very responsive and provides excellent service. We eventually used Sognare for countertops in our kitchen remodel. I have worked with Salima on a few projects but the most recent one was the largest of all of them. We did a full house remodel and Salima made my life so much easier. I had very great experience purchasing tiles from Sognare Tile. Due to the lack of materials and inventory in the state where I was, I searched online and found Sognare tile. Rabia was super helpful in taking photos and videos of the tiles that I was interested in and she even tried to use her displayed faucets to try to give me an idea of how the tiles' design, color, faucet color would look like for my future bathroom. When I received my tiles, there were many broken pieces (the tiles were mailed directly to me from the wholesaler store on the east coast), Salima and Rabia were very quick to put in a claim so that the wholesaler immediately sent me the replacements. I would come back to Sognare Tile for any of my tiles needs in the future, and I highly recommend Sognare Tile to anyone not only because of their great service but also their fair and reasonable price. read more

Awesome experience! Don't be fooled by the small showroom this place has it all. I stopped by looking for bath tile and ended up getting almost everything I needed for a full bathroom remodel. Salima was amazing. She offered expert advice and views I haven't considered and it turned out great!!! and for much less than I thought I would spend. She is a wholesaler and can get discounts to more than just tile. Sognare is located in a small office looking location on Cerritos Ave down the street from other big tile shops and showrooms, so its easy to miss. Salima at Sognare Tile, Stone & Sinks was an amazing person to work with! We made quite a few trips to tile mile only to come back discouraged, that if we wanted tile, we would have to increase our budget. However, as soon as we met Salima, and told her our budget, she was confident that she could find us something similar to the tile sample we brought her (which was double our budget). Indeed, she was able to show us many samples that were very similar to the look we were going for. She was also very patient as my husband and I went back and forth and changed our minds a few times! We finally placed an order with her, and although we wanted porcelain tile, she later found out the one we had ordered was actually ceramic. Without skipping a beat, Salima gave us a call, and offered to re-order a similar porcelain tile, which was more expensive, but she was willing to give it to us for the ceramic price because she felt so bad about the mix-up. We decided to switch the tile, and the new one looks great as well. We also ordered stone for the fireplace from Salima, and it also turned out great. She is very patient and a joy to work with. My contractor indicated that he was having trouble getting through to the company to place the order. I called the company, the call was answered on the second ring and Salima confirmed that the product was in stock and could be delivered in about three business days. My contractor is a great guy who does terrific work but, like many, he has a million things going on. I feel bad it took me so long to finally review this place but they were some of the most nice, and easy people I've worked with. When I went to the store Ameen took his time with us (despite having two small children aboard) and once we got home and spent a few weeks finalizing the tile floors and quartz counters, Salima was always prompt either via text, phone or email. I made the drive back and forth from Los Angeles several times just because I couldn't find anyone that even came close in terms of product and service in Los Angeles. We recently bought a home in Los Angeles and we were lost with where to start. We knew we wanted to get our kitchen done and started getting quotes from different vendors and contractors. At the time, not much was progressing. My wife had a friend who recently did their kitchen and mentioned a place in Anaheim which is an hour away from us. We planned a trip to Newport Beach and made a stop in Anaheim. When we walked in, we were greeted by Salima who was VERY very helpful in helping us select the counters and back splash. From that point forward, everything started progressing and we used one of their contractors for the counter tops and fabrication. I would NOT use that contractor again but the team that did the back splash was better. Where do we start? Salima is awesome! We went to Anaheim to check out the large discount tile and granite shops as we were renovating 2500 ft of flooring, a kitchen in quartz, and 3 bathrooms. We spent the better part of a day down there and were departing the area when we saw only one shop still open, Sognare.. We arrived here about 20 minutes before closing and left over two hours after closing-she didn't once complain or even hint to the fact it was getting late! Not to mention it was a Friday! Since then, we've made numerous purchases from her, had several long conversations with her over (text and phone) what would, wouldn't work, etc. She's even had wholesalers meet drivers to pick up supplies either later in the evening or on weekends when it was possible. Salima is outstanding! She even kept ourhigh maintenance toddler entertained while my wife went through all of her displays. Do not let the size of this place fool you-give it a shot!! We are not done yet, and will update this review if need be, but I highly doubt we will have anything but good things to say. Prices were competitive, but service wasn't even in the same ballpark as the other places! read more

Salima at Sognare Tile is awesome! She gave us excellent customer service while handling our order. My father-in-law let her know what we were looking for before we arrived and she had everything out to show us when we got there. We live a little ways away and needed the tile delivered. Her driver cancelled on us twice, but Salima kept us updated and paid extra out of her pocket to get it delivered to us. One box arrived broken and she issued a refund without blinking an eye.
