If Sweetgreens had a twin, it would be called SOMA. I ordered a custom build your own salad for pick up through the Yelp interface and it went smoothly. I know you all are thinking, this is not a big deal, but it is for me since I like to order in person. The efficiency is great and the SOMA customer service as also great. Salad was fresh and I chose two dressings and both were tasty tzatziki and green goddess ranch. Casual. Limited bar style seating. Please come and create your own experience.

I love this place! It is a little busier than its competitors like sweet green, but I think that they still give a large portion and have a lot of options to choose from which makes it pretty comparable. The servers are all super friendly! There is some seating inside, but I think this place is best for takeout.

I literally LOVE Soma Salads - it's my favorite salad spot in the city. I used to order from here once a week on DoorDash until they added a $3.49 delivery fee well. But the salads are massive portions and so tasty. My favorites are the sesame crunch and perfect pear. Highly recommend this spot!

SoYum at SoMa. Giant bowls filled with all that healthy stuff. Make your own salad or choose from a menu of salads they offer. I have tried a few of them, and they were all filling and delicious. My most recent was the Salmon Superfood Salad, and it is probably my favorite. The salmon was fresh, flakey, and juicy. They offer a slice of bread with the salad, but I declined and then regretted it. There is an enormous number of selections to choose from to make the perfect salad you are craving. The staff is super nice, and they do not skimp. This is now my #1 choice for salad in the city.

Came here for a quick bite during a short lunch and I was not disappointed. Service was quick, people behind the counter were helpful explaining the flow of things and the food was great. It was slightly annoying how there's a "premium" section of sides all of which cost extra. But overall I enjoyed my meal and I did not have to walk far. The space was clean and warm (which was great bc it's cold outside for a FL person). Unfortunate I did not get a picture of my bowl as I was in a hurry but I would recommend this place for a quick convenient warm lunch.

If you're tired of overpriced salads that leave you hungry, Soma Salads is a game-changer. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the portions are generous, and the flavors are on point. I've always liked Sweetgreen, but this spot takes things to another level--better value, better taste, and so much more satisfying. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fresh and filling meal that actually delivers on flavor!

I am totally addicted to Soma. My favorite salad is the Perfect Pear salad. I must have 10 of these a week. After eating Soma's salad, SweetGreen does not compare. The ingredients Soma uses are always fresh. The flavors are rich and the aroma is addictive. The portions are generous and the staff is warm and welcoming. I also highly recommend the Turkey chili. My daughter is addicted to this. Soma is a special place that I love.

Just ordered the sesame crunch salad from DoorDash. This salad is INSANELY good. Portion is absolutely massive (so massive that the bowl is actually heavy). The vegetables are super fresh tasting and the chicken is moist. I'm a huge sweetgreen girl but this blows sweetgreen out of the water for sure. Will 10000% be getting this again. 11/10.

Excellent. Expensive but excellent. What's Sweetgreen? Garbage in comparison to Soma. I made my own salad and DAMN was it good. Everything is made in-house and it's fantastic. Massive portion of tofu, excellent charred broccoli, and delicious portobellos. Their spicy Soma dressing is great too. Definitely has a kick. Friendly staff, lots of toss-in options. I'll be back for sure.

I was so excited to try Soma after passing by a few times and I'm so glad I did. It smelled soooo good inside, probably from all the fresh ingredients. Yes it's another bowl/salad place, but I thought it tasted really fresh and I liked the menu selection of salads. It came with a light piece of focaccia too. Really excited to come back and try other bowls.

This might be my new favorite salad place! I made my own salad with a base of shredded kale and lentils, shredded carrot, purple cabbage, pistachios, pickled onions, beets, black beans, toasted pecans, spicy broccoli (+$2), sweet potato (+$2), and portobello mushrooms (+$3), and sesame ginger dressing. It was so fresh, delicious, and filling! It wasn't cheap, but the portion size and quality definitely justified the price. This is a great midtown option when you want a high quality salad!

    Nice options!

Sentir is 100% vegan, and I would confidently bring even my carnivore friends here without hesitation. If nobody told you it was vegan, you'd simply think you were eating some of the most creative, flavorful Mexican food you've ever had. It's that good. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can tell this isn't just another restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting without feeling pretentious. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind (thanks Camila who served us both days!), knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to talk about the menu and the other restaurants in the group. Their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction. The food completely exceeded every expectation we had. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with bold flavors, and unlike anything we've had before. We found ourselves talking about every bite and immediately discussing what we'd come back to try... which ended up being less than 24 hours later. We were so excited by the food on our first visit that we completely forgot to take pictures! (It became a complete afterthought because we had already scarfed everything down. ) Thankfully, we redeemed ourselves on day two! The cocktails also deserve their own standing ovation. They're creative, beautifully crafted, and every bit as memorable as the food. If you're looking for a restaurant where every detail has clearly been thoughtfully considered from the atmosphere and service to the food and drinks, Sentir absolutely delivers. We travel to NYC often and almost never eat at the same restaurant twice because there are so many amazing places to try. The fact that we chose to come back the very next day says everything you need to know. Sentir has officially earned a permanent spot on our "must visit" list every time we're in that part of the city. What We Ate (and absolutely LOVED): Sentir Guac - Easily one of the freshest and most flavorful guacamoles we've ever had. It was served with chips and a deep fried tofu that was reminiscent of a "chicken skin" or something along those lines. I've never tried anything like it and it was good and unique! Carne Asada Tacos - Perfectly seasoned with amazing texture and incredible flavor. Al Pastor Chicken Tacos - Sweet, savory, smoky, and absolutely delicious. Cream of Corn - I wasn't expecting a bowl of corn to stand out the way it did. It was warm, comforting and cheesy. I just wish it came with something to dip with. Unfortunately too much was dripping through the fork and I wanted to savor it all! Chile Rellenos - Beautifully prepared with layers of flavor in every bite. It was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth! Tamal de Carne - Tender, comforting, and packed with incredible flavor. What We Drank: Sentir Michelada - One of the best my husband ever had. The chose Modelo as the beer Little Pitcher - This was a bunch drink. It had grapefruit & orange juice (among other things) but it was shockingly unique and dangerously easy to drink. Café con Ron - The perfect twist or play on an espresso martini but a million times better! Nutty Olivia - I believe this was on "special" and it was a mooth, creative, and another cocktail I'd order again in a heartbeat. It contains gin, which my husband doesn't like but he must have stolen at least 3 sips before I told him to worry about his own drink! Final thought: If a restaurant is good enough to make us skip trying somewhere new in New York City and instead return the very next day, that's about the highest compliment we can give. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or a lifelong meat eater, do yourself a favor go!!! I have a feeling you'll be planning your second visit before you even finish your first.
