Ruby Sue (poached eggs, avocado, tomatoes, red onion, mozzarella and balsamic glaze on top of gluten free bread)

Great breakfast spot! The inside is so cute, reminds me a lot of a cottage style close to what my grandmother used to have. They have daily specials and lots of gluten-free options. They asked about my allergies and even toasted my bread on a separate pan. We loved it so much we came back the next day. I tried the Little Breakfast with gf toast and the Ruby Sue on gf toast. Both were super delicious. The coffee is self serve in a coffee bar and it's unlimited refills.

Very nice family cozy styled restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere from not only the staff but the patrons. Makes for a nice experience for breakfast. Go inside and seat yourself, menu has a lot of items. We picked the Sampler as we not only love to get eggs but French toast and pancakes. Service was very quick. They use a coffee station so it allows you to choose your style of coffee. Staff was very aware and intuitive to the customers as they were all over helping everyone. Finally, their portion control was great. Enough to fill you up and not enough to over stuff you, kudos to the chef.

The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is adorable on the inside. Totally retro decor with all-you-can-drink coffee. The menu is simple and enticing to order from. I love this place. I will definitely come back.

Come here for breakfast with my family anytime we're in the area. It's a great spot for breakfast with unique specials daily! Loved the sausage and gravy (although I do wish it was on a biscuit and not bread). The Carrot Cake Waffle specialty they had was outstanding. If they have a special that interests you try it! The service is really friendly although they do tend to be super packed on weekends. The ambiance of this restaurant is what really makes it stand out I love the cozy feel and decorations on the wall.

Grinch special French toast. Double chocolate banana bread with cream cheese glaze, chocolate sauce and bananas. So good!

We moved away and have been gone for 7 years. Coming back I knew that somewhere in time was at the top of my list for places to go back to. It's still just as wonderful. The specials change weekly, and I keep an eye on their Facebook page for when they are posted(typically later Friday), and plan if I'm going to go the next week based on what I see. I have noticed their waffle specials sell out and are off the board by the time I come in, even if it's a Tuesday, and that's a bummer, but I'm normally wanting their French toast anyway! In the two months we've been back, we have gone twice. First I got chai maple pumpkin bread French toast, and today I got the grinch special French toast which was double chocolate banana bread, with cream cheese and chocolate drizzle and banana slices. Both were amazing! I always get a meat side, like bacon or corn beef hash to break up the sweet with something salty. The service is always amazing. Personable and kind. Food always comes out quickly. Inside is seat yourself, which can get a little wonky when it's full, but we typically find a spot pretty quick! They are also no longer cash only! They now take cards!

Hear ye hear ye-please report to Somewhere in Time Cafe for a delicious breakfast with friendly service and allergy friendly options. Do not bypass this option, I can't believe I was not aware of this adorable place before today. We had a change in plans and decided to go in another direction for the day and we're starving. I quickly googled gluten-free breakfast and found this shining light in a food desert area. She quickly outlined the gluten-free options and told us that she would avoid cross-contamination. Upon arriving there is plenty of parking. There's also a lot of seating. We received the extensive menu quickly. There are so many options! My Kid opted for the gluten-free toast which was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of powdered sugar on it. It was accompanied by a nice size of crispy bacon. It was approved and the plate was cleaned! I ordered the veggie scramble with sourdough toast. It was delicious! It had a ton of different vegetables in there but it was a good balance of vegetables and eggs. Sometimes when restaurants make vegetables scrambles it gets too watery but somehow the cook avoided that. The toast was grilled which was interesting But it was fantastic. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about our experience. I really hope our next visit there is just as fabulous as this one was. I'd like to commend the staff for offering gluten-free options that are actually cooked separately, a lot of restaurants don't realize that if you cook gluten-free pancakes or French toast with the regular options then that makes it not gluten-free. Really appreciate the knowledge and attention!

Small but nice atmosphere. All the food was great with the grits taking the cake. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch, with everything coming out hot at the same time. Multiple waitresses/servers checked on us at good intervals.

Food was amazing! Love the self service coffee bar. They make their own freshly brewed coffee, which was soo good. It's a cozy diner vibe, felt like we were at home

I am absolutely obsessed with everything here. I made reservations for 5:45 pm on a Monday night…read more We actually came a little before 5:15 pm, because I was absolutely starving, and they were so kind/accommodating. They seated us right away! I love the vibes of the place, it's beautiful and inviting, but not pretentious. Our waitress was the best. She knew it was our anniversary and gave us a little bubbly to toast to. We also made it for happy hour (5 pm - 6 pm on weekdays, and 5 pm - 6 pm on weekends only at the bar)! All the small plates on the left side of the menu were half off! We immediately ordered drinks (the $10 happy hour cocktail - a blackberry bourbon smash for my husband, and a mocktail for me). We then ordered the shishito peppers, 2 of the pickled beet deviled eggs, and the roasted oysters with chili oil. They came out super fast, and it was delicious. The shishitos had that great char flavor along with a great dipping sauce. You can never go wrong with deviled eggs. Then we decided to order the fried oysters and the bread with corn butter. The fried oysters were the star of the small plates. Cooked so well. Freshly fried, you bite into it and it was juicy and delicious on the inside. Just so good. The bread and butter? Ugh, my dream butter and bread. Just so delicious. The butter was slightly sweet from the corn and had flakes of sea salt on tip, making it the perfect sweet and salty combo. We also got the salad (local produce!), and our waitress knew we were sharing ao she had the kitchen put it on 2 plates. Such a great touch. The salad was fantastic. After eating lobster rolls for a day, this was a much needed salad. It was refreshing, bright, and light! For our main entrees, we got the seared local squid and the strip steak. It was INCREDIBLE. Everything had so much flavor. The squid was cooked well, wasnt chewy. Just delicious. The crispy rice was the BEST THING I HAVE EVER EATEN. I wish we could order bowls of it. My husband finished it, couldn't get enough of it. The steak was fantastic as well. The potato with the bearnise sauce was so dreamy. The little onions on the steak, all the little touches were so well done. We knew we had to get dessert. We got a scoop of the black raspberry ice cream, a scoop of corn and blueberry swirl ice cream, and the lavender honey panna cotta. Guys. You 100% must get dessert. The corn blueberry ice cream was unreal. I dont know how you get all that flavor into ice cream. They dont skimp on the honey on the panna cotta. And it went so well with the more mild panna cotta. The black raspberry was a little icy because they froze whole blackberries in it, but at least you know they were trying to make sure you got blackberries in there. With happy hour, the bill wasn't too bad. This was hands down our favorite meal of our week long road trip. I can't wait to come back. I would 100% make a detour to eat here. Parking is pretty difficult around here. I would probably just Uber if I was coming here on a weekend. I need to come here for breakfast at some point.

First, Emily was phenomenal. From taking care of the kids to tour-guiding us through the menu, she felt like a warm hug when we needed one most on a day with a headache. This place is where a greasy spoon meets Grandma's kitchen, with a talented chef working a flattop that's been seasoned by years of flavor. The Eggs Benedict? A must-order. 12/10. "Oh boys." The food actually came out fairly quickly. The wife and I both got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and my son got the French toast. I will admit, when my wife wanted to come here I really wasn't in the mood for anything I saw on the menu. We were on vacation and we weren't having much luck with food options the whole time so I was just being picky. That all changed tho when food arrived because that sandwich was excellent and really hit the spot. And the fries.....if you like McDonald's fries, you will like these even more because to me that's what they reminded of when their fries used to be good. My son enjoy his French toast. Will definitely go back. Price was reasonable as well. Oh!! Almost forgot about the bakery items. We got a chocolate chip cookie, a macadamia nut cookie and my son wanted macaroons. So that means everyone loves Nana's. Which means that, on a very rainy weekend early afternoon, we ended up waiting quite a long time to order and then to get our food but ... I suppose it was worth it (this is high praise coming from someone who almost never believes waiting in a long line is actually worth it). My friend and I split the spicy Caesar kale salad as a starter. I cracked up when I saw "massaged kale" as one of the ingredients. But all jokes aside, this was one of the best kale salads with abundant dressing and, in lieu of croutons, breadcrumbs and cashew parmesan. It tasted pretty indulgent and rich but you can certainly fool yourself into thinking it's actually healthy. I got the tomato sandwich plus bacon (so a BLT without the L) and it was pretty good, though I do wish they cut the bread a little thinner so I could pick it up and eat it as a sandwich. As it were, I just used my knife and fork - certainly more civilized. The pizza was also not bad, though I wish there were some more of the toppings - heard it's leagues better than Mystic Pizza. There are a few tables inside but be prepared to wait. When it was peak rush hour, there were two lines inside, one for the bathroom and one to place an order. Even though they were so slammed, the staff couldn't be friendlier. Our waitress in particular came by often to see how we were doing. Parking lot also filled up.
