Normally I'd give a 4 star for all the good experiences here. Ive been to this Sonic many times since it opened. And for the most part I've always been pretty pleased with the experience. The shakes and ice cream are the best, either on par with or even better than DQ Blizzards. I've always gone at night around 8:30 at night or later.and usually go inside. And the wait isn't too bad usually. Maybe a little more than 5 minutes for the ice cream. Drive thru is longer since there's usually a few cars in line. For all other visits I'd give 4 stars. But for this last one. I went late around 12:15 am this morning. No cars ahead of me. The inside was closed. I waited over a minute to get my order taken at the drive thru. And then waited about 15 minutes at the window. All I ordered was a medium vanilla shake and a medium reeses blast. It was absurdly ridiculous. I could see and hear the workers joking around and laughing inside. There was no reason to take 15 minutes for my order. read more

I have to say order came out fast to stall. Server friendly and accommodating. Tried because of fun concept, cute. Food, not great. Fries and onion rings had funny after taste, old frying oil? It was a bitter bad taste (saw other review with same experience). Burgers were fair, beefy but needed something?? Might be a bagged salad taste on lettuce that was issue? Went there Dec 26.2016 ordered foot long hot dog asked for it to de well done..not well-done it was cold tat tots was old .French fries was old and oily .grill chicken taste old and freezer burnt ..service was slow ..will never go back or recommend it place SUCKS BAD ..don't waste your time bk is better read more

Went there for the 1st time ever for any Sonics. The food tasted good for fast food so anyone reviewing it as if it's suppose to be fine dining or a non fast few restaurant quality is being ridiculous. The place was actually exceptionally clean which was great since most fast food places don't care about being as thorough with cleaning. My family and I ate inside so I have no idea how the drive through experience is there but I will try it next time I go. We ordered 2 bacon burgers , fries, tator tots , jumbo popcorn chicken , cherry limeade , Coca Cola and a cheesecake milkshake. Everything was good although the popcorn chicken was a little to crunchy. The food came out pretty fast and the waiter and waitress we has were both very nice. I wish there was one closer since it was a half hour drive but I'll def. go back while on my way to providence place mall. The price may seem steep but it's basically no more expensive than going to Burger King or MCDs. Anyways looking forward to going back and possibly trying the footlong hotdog they have I heard it was yummy. read more

I like this place, what can I say? Grape lemonade is my go to drink. Burgers are good, fries are meh and onion rings are ok. My advice would be to hit the carhop stalls and avoid the drive thru even if you plan to take your order home. It just seems faster on average. read more

I tried this place again last night and I was disappointed again. It was their wing special night. The wings were worse than frozen chicken nuggets. In my group, most of us only ate half of their meal. I also had a side of onion rings which were so tasteless. On a positive note, all the workers were very friendly. read more

The service was too long and not friendly at all. iv been to all fast food joints. and this is by far the worst. im glad they did not open a sonic until now because it shows why it took so long. Yuck. I was really disappointed. I went to a Sonic years ago in Texas and it was like 2am heaven on earth. This was a jumbled up mess of cars and orange cones. The right hand side of the drive thru doesn't work. That would have been nice to know before I got in line...had to squeeze my way out of the lot and get back on the highway to turn around and go back in to try it again. You can see the floor of the kitchen from the drive thru and it was messy with trash. All their cups are made from styrofoam...what is this 1982? The food had no flavor and I felt more gross than I normally do after eating fast food. And the wait was insane at the drive thru. I was literally sitting there for about 5 minutes which sounds really silly but in drive thru time that's forever and a day. That's my own fault for wanting something quick but the whole experience was crazy. It's such a small area for so many things going on at once. If there hasn't been an accident in that parking lot yet there will be soon! But really...styrofoam?! I'm pretty sure the Fall River/Somerset area doesn't need anymore trash! read more

Food is great and 90% of the staff is amazing aside from one cashier named Kyra who was extremely rude and made inconsiderate comments when we asked for the music to turned up was impatient when trying to order and made sarcastic comments when we cheering the people playing the ring game, gives Constant dirty looks for no reason I'm just trying to have some milk shakes and fries while having a good time with my squad. She was knocking chairs over and banging metal when cleaning which kept scaring us and making my heart condition act up. She was also listening to our conversations and being rude. read more

There was a lot of excitement when this restaurant first opened just in the past couple of years. It replaced a very disgusting Wendy's so this is a nice change of pace. My concern was that they do tend to get backed up if you're in the drive-through versus wanting carhop service. I also am concerned that they weren't big on tipping the employees. Last, my husband and I ate there a year ago and we were pretty sure we were food poisoned. I'm giving them three stars because the service is rather prompt and the price points are well within reason. I'm also addicted to diet soda and the 44 ounces of Coke zero is just amazing. read more

Very pleasant experience here. My mother and I visited Sonic around 11:30 surprised to see it completely empty. We headed inside, we were greeted, and our order was promptly taken. Within minutes our burgers, fries and shakes were brought to our table. These fries are beyond delicious. I will definitely be returning, mainly for the fries that I'm craving at the moment. The food is always cold, the blasts are never mixed all the way through, and what can look like the shortest drive thru line can take forever! I'm not sure if they put the people at the parking area as a first priority for food, but they need to try something different. They only use one of the double drive thru lanes. Was here last night when it was dead at 11:15pm, two cars ahead of us in drive thru. We ordered quickly to wait in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes before an employee on roller skates came to the car with our shakes. Then he made it very obvious he was looking for a tip. I went through the drive thru, not the car port so I couldn't believe the kid expected a tip because they were running so slow and he had to bring our stuff out to us! Also, many times when there are huge lines not even moving, you will see like 2-6 employees sitting the back smoking cigarettes and talking. Was super excited for Sonic to come to the area. Huge let down! Only good for the sales like half priced shakes after 8, half prices slurped earlier in the day, etc. read more

Took my 12 year old there on her request. The food was not up to the quality of other fast food restaurants in the area. I ordered the hamburger which appeared to be microwaves until it was dry and tasteless. The fries were nothing to write home about and my daughter even complained that the mozzarella sticks were not that great. Will not be returning, sorry Sonic but you were a big disappointment. read more

Second time going to Somerset Sonic. First time was ok but second visit food was awful. We weren't in our seat for more that 2 minutes when our food came out, obviously everything is pre-made but God only knows how long is sat there before we ordered. read more
