Surprisingly good, Thai food where I live is easier to find than Starbucks but I was very impressed at this little town Thai place.

I really want to give this 3 for the service, but it's getting 4 because the food is a 5+! This is a great Thai food spot, but solely for the food. Their system was down and they were only taking cash, when we asked where to get money they just said I don't know. We went on a hunt for cash, came back and ordered, and when we returned, they had forgotten to charge us for the Thai tea, but the total seemed too high to have forgotten. We then broke down the bill, realizing that they owed me $2. Beware of your bill when paying! The restaurant itself is small and old feeling, felt like it needed some love and a good cleaning, and parking is super hard to find. The only saving grace of this place is the food. We ordered Panang curry, pad see ew, and Tom kha. All of it was fantastic, the Tom kha standing out as one of the best I've had! read more

The chef specials for the chicken noodle soup and also the boat noodle soup were good. The service wait time was astonishingly long considering what we ordered which were only three soup noodle dishes and two sautéed noodle dishes. Visited this spot last night on our drive back down from a hike for dinner. Location: fun, very night life and social Food: pretty okay 3/5 The main reason for giving a 3 star was the service, the lady who assisted us didn't even want to get close to us. Was having a ladies weekend trip in Sonora. It was super hot and we didn't feel like eating anything too greasy or heavy. Thai was perfect! We were planning to get take out but decided to find it. Atmosphere: They didn't have AC, at least not a very strong one if they did. But it was cool enough for dine in on a 100+ day. Service: fantastic! Water was getting filled. Stag was friendly and were checking up on us. Drink: Friend ordered Thai iced-tea. She said it hit the spot! Food: Beef salad - wasn't a fan of the grounded rice on there but the flavor was delicious. Beef was a tad tough and way too much cilantro. This wasn't the favorite of the group. Chicken Satay- delicious! The chicken was moist and the sauce was SO good! Veggie spring roll - the advocado took me by surprise as I wasn't used to it, but it was really good, especially the peanut sauce. I feel that the spring roll could have been wrapped a bit tighter bc the filling was falling out. Shrimp Pineapple fried rice - it was well seasoned. Not salty at all. It didn't feel heavy at all either. Shrimp pad-Thai - it was tasty! It didn't come with a wedge of lime. We didn't bother to ask for it either. Great place to enjoy some Thai Cuisine. They have many vegan options. I have had their red curry (too spicy for me even at the lowest level but I'm a wimp) and I love their Pad-Ma-Khua-Jay with fried tofu instead of imitation duck. Great service and delicious food. read more

This is a very cute place, spacious, although the air conditioning works so well we had to ask to move to another table because it was freezing. The Fresh Rolls were great, fresh, the peanut sauce was little thinner than I'm use to. The plates ordered come with a side of white rice automatically so that's nice. The Yellow Curry was a bit spicier than most places, the Crispy Duck wasn't very crispy, it had a batter of sort which I assume should've been crisp but it wasn't. There was some time of sweet and sour sauce over it and the vegetables in the dish so it was okay. Seemed a little over cooked to my liking but still the taste was great. We also placed a to-go order of Pad Thai with Pork and another Yellow Curry to take home. The Pad Thai was delicious. Service was excellent! From the moment we walked in we were greeted, seated and asked what we wanted to drink. This was the first time we've been here, but our usual is Pad Thai so of course that's what we got. It was amazing! It's a new level that we will judge other places by. Here we are again a year later. Of course, we had to stop and get a wonderful lunch. We ordered the same lunch special as last year which includes salmon, shrimp, chicken, Thai spices and vegetables. Not a lot of Asian spice driven restaurants around here when we visited so came to see if it was any good since it had 4 stars on yelp. Also, all other locations were super packed and it wasn't here so having a kid we didn't want to wait longer than needed. We got the Po-piah, Tom kah gha, and pah kee mow. All just eh. (Excuse my spelling) The soup was really the best thing out of it all. But being hungry we ate what we could. I asked for some sauce to go with the noodles but the waitress said there isn't one. I asked mainly bc it lacked any flavor and didn't taste like what it should at all. Then since I don't like to waste I asked for boxes to go, the waitress knowing what we had left over only brought 1 box. I had to ask again for a soup container and she also said you didn't like the noodles do you need a box? I said yes since she didn't take it off the bill of course I would take it to go. Then I had to ask again for a bag bc there was too much to hold with an active toddler. She never brought one. I ordered a few vegetarian items: Gra-Prow-Tofu the tofu was made perfectly but there wasn't much flavor for the dish as a whole, Pad-Khing-Jay which is an imitation duck & veggies it didn't have much flavor either and tasted exactly like the tofu item just with a different protein. My favorite item was the veggie fried rice since it had lots of veggies inside which was nice but overall I did expect more from the good reviews. This was merely a 3 star meal, based on what we had. Tom Kah Gai soup - A coconut based broth with chunks of chicken, cilantro, mushrooms and tasty galangal, it is hard to ruin. This is a new favorite Thai place for me... We don't get up to Sonora very often, but I guarantee the next time we are here, we shall return. I love to dine with more than just the hubs and I, because then it gives me a chance to try multiple dishes. The standards that we always go for were as good, if not better than other restaurants. Papaya Salad, and Pad Thai with shrimp, A+ The variety of BBQd items, were all delicious (Pepper Garlic Pork was my fave out of the choices) Beef and the Crispy Duck were good. Their equivalent of "Panang Curry" was so good. Perfect spice and the thickness that I prefer with Beef. We all loved it. If you like Fried Fish, the Pla Sam Rod was perfectly prepared with the Sweet and Spicy Sauce. And we topped it all off with the Traditional Desserts- Mango with Sticky Rice, and Fried Banana with Coconut Ice Cream. The staff were all so nice. 3.5 Stars. Solid but overpriced and little bland. I was in need of a healthy vegetable rich meal, and thought I would try this Thai place. It was surprising to have the restaurant nearly empty at 6 PM on Sunday. Nevertheless, I persevered. The meal I selected was promised to be chicken with shrimp and vegetables. When I asked to have a lot of vegetables with it, the server seemed confused but took my order. The dinner was more than $16, and then they charged me two dollars extra for extra vegetables! The food itself was visually appealing, but surprisingly bland: No ginger, garlic, no spice. Not a bad experience, but not a place I would go out of my way to return to.
