Also chose add-on sides with lotus root and cauliflower (both were good but highly recommend the cauliflower since it had a roasted taste to it that added more to the dish). So far, I've had the tofu pudding milk tea (G28) and the oatmeal taro milk tea (G40, oatmeal similar to overnight oats texture, and taro tastes fresh), and I would definitely get both again. Sure it's small, literally off the parking lot (Danford Court) to be exact, but it's well loved and it shows in the eclectic mix of diners and well loved staff. The menu is also simple, but why add too many things that take away from the basics, big bowls of rare meats that cook in broth crafted for hours, you literally just need fresh basil lime and shoots with extra hot sauce to make one's mouth happy. I'm always a sucker for a V1 too, fresh ingredients make all the difference, the vermicelli is delicious as our their tofu rice rolls. On the way out, order a tea, no need to go somewhere else, it's hot and full bodied.
