We miss our Pomo pizza in Gilbert and Pizzeria Bianco is a bit of a drive so we were excited to see Source opening up. We had a chance to get in there today and it was great. Note, the pizza is Neapolitan pizza which is going to be very different than NY or Chgo style pizza. This isn't loaded in sauce and it is all about the crust and fresh real ingredients. We had the sausage pizza and it was excellent. The sausage has just the right amount of spice, light cheese, perfect amount of tomatoes, and a little extra olive oil to dip the crust in. yummy! We also ordered the chopped salad and split it. This a fully loaded salad and was delicious, and I don't really like salads. Gets in the way of the real food. It also came with a slice of bread which was fantastic. We are happy we had stopped in and will be back. Very nice service and employees too! read more

Leaves a lot to be desired. With tip, I had a $17 personal pizza. That was the greasiest pizza I've had in a long time. The grease pooled up in the center of the pie and the toppings slid right off each slice as I tried to eat them. There's a few other places to grab pizza in the general area so I thought this would have been top notch. Portion size was also a bit small for the price. I was the only one in the restaurant so it wasn't exactly a mess up stemming from uncontrollable factors. Unless you are getting some wine or hummus, I would probably avoid dining here more than once. It's a neat little place but it just doesn't do it for me personally. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch and loved everything about it! I tried the salmon bowl and the farro bowl and both were delicious! Everything tasted so bright and fresh too! I also had to get some more bread afterwards since that was a highlight. Service was great and restaurant had a cool vibe. Worst new place in Gilbert! They serve ice tea but don't have sweeteners. They have sandwiches but don't have condiments. Asked for some balsamic vinaigrette for side sales and mozzarella plate, sorry we don't have that. The ham an cheese sandwich was served on bread you could barely bite into and certainly didn't have enough ham or cheese. All in all, I would NEVER eat here again! Been here twice and both times it was amazing. The inside is small, the menu is small but the food is fresh and incredible! They make beautiful loaves of amazing bread, they have gourmet olive oils for sale and jam, I bought some! It's amazing. Mediterranean with a fresh twist. We had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed both of the items we ordered tremendously. Was excited to try Source. Definitely a small restaurant, hardly any indoor seating but a big patio and if it is nice outside it will be ok sitting outside. Service seemed a bit slow but the staff was kind and courteous. I had the coppa pizza which was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy and the sauce was fresh. I hope at some point the menu expands it didn't appear to be very Mediterranean. But the pizza is good and we will be back for that. read more

Food was delicious and fresh. Reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the layout was awkward - we entered through doors that lead to the restroom and entrance was in between 2 tables where people were seated. There was plenty of space outside to sit but it was midday and 90 degrees outside, only 3 tables were under the covered area with misters. There was 3 of us and the 1 table that could seat 4 people was taken. The atmosphere felt a bit disjointed but I can see myself coming here in the evening when it is cooler outside or take-out. Probably not great for a large group or if it gets busy. read more

Horrible food, and most of all the staff. Super unprofessional and not catering to their customers. I ordered a pizza which I was told had red sauce on it, when it arrived, it did not. I asked them to take it back and make me some thing that had it on there as I was dining in with my 15 month old son. They refused and told me I would have to pay for another pizza if I wanted one. They are running a terrible establishment over there and should be shut down. They take your money before you get your food so BEWARE! I ended up having to dispute the charge with my bank and thankfully they gave me my money back. Worst place EVER read more

They redid their hours and open at 11am, and now I can cone here more often, which is a plus! Pizza is still really good... a nice crisp- chewy crust with a balanced tomato sauce and the house pizza is fantastic. This go round I had the red lentil croqueta. Its small red lentils in croquette form, encased in a delicious flatbread from their pizza oven, and I highly recommend it. My one criticism, besides the non alcoholic drink selection being a bit scant (hey saves me money I drink water here), is the perfect salad dressing includes a small hint of sweetness and the coleslaw with the lemon-yogurt combination after half of the sandwich, the lemon starts hitting that chopped cucumber a bit hard. If you could try taking out that cucumber (Or thinner slice it) and try adding a few chopped up dates or apple, anything to round out the coleslaw and balance the bitter tang with a small twinge of sweet I think it'd be even better. Just my personal/american style tastes here. Alot of Organic fare here. The desserts are also fabulous, but usually only one or two offered each day, so you really have to hit the dessert on the right day lol read more

They have a very simple menu and we purchased the hummus and flatbread seasoned with zatar and sesame seeds; plus the house pizza and the Farro bowl - Wow wow wow sooooo yummy! I want to go back already! The bread was soooo good and the farro bowl was incredibly delicious The chef came out to grab our dishes and we expressed to him how much we loved the food he was very thankful but also frustrated that many have left "very American " reviews like "the pizza needs more sauce" and " no ranch dressing to dip my pizza in" and he said they're hesitant to try things that aren't familiar to them -like farro, which he gets from his source in Italy and uses it ground in his bread - which is fermented 24 hours - that and along with using the ground farro makes it more digestible especially for those who need gluten free- I sure hope he gets people trying his place and I can honestly say I'd go back again tomorrow and eat the same meal it was that good If you have the opportunity please try Source!!! Okay so I am not eating bread to avoid added sugars, and went for the Seared Polenta dish, my husband and kids had the pizzas. The seared polenta was delish! The flavors of the polenta, the red peppers and the sausage all tied in but also carried very distinct flavors. The sausage was spicy, a little spicier than I like but my husband tried it and loved it and can't wait to come back to order that same dish. At $15--- I wish there was more polenta. However the red peppers, and sausage were def plenty. The pizzas were thin and were more flavorful without being too filling and greasy without tasting well made. Wish I took pictures beforehand- but we were ready to dig in! Def coming back. Also it was raining and chilly out earlier today, but they graciously wiped a table down for us----and placed heaters on both sides of the table for us to be comfortable since we brought our dog along. read more
