I was tired of the usual national pizza chains that deliver to our area. I wanted something cheap, fast and was ready to step outside of my pizza zone. Boy, am I glad I did! I ordered a 16" vegetarian pizza, sans onions () and bell peppers, which made it a mushroom and black olive pizza. Favor delivered it fast and with no problems, and the pizza was hot. And huge, with deliciously soft dough that was on the thin side, just how I like it. They make the dough from scratch, and that is reflected in the deliciousness. It really does made a difference when the ingredients are fresh, never frozen. The amount of cheese was just right, and the sauce was not thick and pasty, nor thin and runny, but just right. The spices sprinkled on the top of the pizza really give it a punch. The mushrooms and olives were fresh and delicious. The price can't be beat! They don't have a selection of fancy ingredients, but what they have is good and fresh. It makes ordering very easy. I just had some for breakfast, which I am happy to report nukes up great in the microwave. It's surely good cold, if that's how you do pizza for breakfast. This is now my favorite pizza for delivery. They just reopened after the remodel and I could not be happier! They have affordable pizza that tasted great. This is a pizza place located inside the HEB grocery store on Boerne stage road and I-10. If you are standing in front of HEB, it is located on the right side entrance. Our family has ordered the pepperoni 16" and meat 16" various times. We love how it's more a of a thin crust than other places, but without the increased cost. There is variance on how crispy the crust normally is cooked. When we first started ordering it was crispy. Lately and even this visit today, it fell flat. Womp womp . Temperature was barely warm and the bottom was soft. My recommendation is if you are taking it home, just start the oven and throw it in at 350 to 400 and let it hot again and crisp up to your liking. Next time I will try to ask for a more crispy crust and see if they can help me out with it. The newly remodeled place doesn't seem much different for the customers but more of a fix for the cooks and cashiers. You can find the Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper by the far corner where paper napkins and straws are located. I will have to return sometime for the beer and wine they offer with the pizza. I have now had the pizza on 3 different occasions and every time it has been consistently good. Very generous on the toppings which are quite good. The pepperoni and sausage both have very good flavor. Recently had a plain cheese pizza which had an amazing amount of cheese. The crust is thin crust if you like that (I do) and has some excellent flavor as well. The pizzas have been consistently baked well. I personally like a little more sauce so may have to ask for extra in the future. As mentioned by all it is a great price for a large and tasty pizza. Would love it if they offered soda during the happy hour for those of us who don't drink. If you go when they are busy place your order before you shop. Discovered this pizza a few months back after getting a house in the area. One of the beat bargains you can get for the money. I've probably gotten a dozen+ pizzas in the last few months from so flo. It is generally top notch. The times I haven't liked it as much are when there is too much cheese on the pizza or not crispy enough. I usually tell them extra crispy. So Flo is currently being remodeled in the HEB and was told it would be back in about a month with some additional improvements. Cant wait to get the pizzas back again. It may be a good idea if you could specify the crisp level on the card you give for the order. Staff is always great here and very friendly. I found out about South Flo Pizza through Favor. Let me tell you, I could add expletives to describe how good this pizza is. I order the pepporoni and black olive pizza for lunch once a week. I limit myself because if I could eat it every day I would O my goodness, the crust is pretty thin so it is super crunchy. However the oil of the pizza doesn't soak through. When I bite into, WOW my mouth is water just thinking about it. They also have a variety of drink options and sizes. For example, I got a gallon of tea last week. I am SO glad that this place came to the local H-E-B. South Flo Pizza is an awesome addition to an already great H-E-B. It is located just to the right as you enter the store. There is a little table with order forms which is easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Then you just go up to the counter and place your order/pay. They have cheese, pepperoni, supreme, limited time, and build-your-own options. If you come between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m., they have their happy hour special going on - a pizza and 2 beers or 2 glasses of wine - for just $10!! So far they just have one beer on tap and two wine choices (both reds). The pizza can feed 2-3 people and is so delicious. There is a small attached dining area which is nice because I always enjoy eating my pizza right away. But it comes in take-out boxes so you could take it home. I have never had to wait very long, but I've seen long lines at certain times. I definitely recommend checking this place out for a quick pizza fix - great pizza at an awesome value. read more
