    Benny Breakfast

We were greeted by a host and seated this place is very southern style hospitality where you would spend time with family and friends. I ordered the Benny with eggs and southern gravy and my husband ordered biscuits and gravy .. I didn't really like the breakfast I took one bite , my husband loved the extra gravy the waitress was very attentive and courteous asked and I told I was trying something new and I didn't like it she asked if I wanted anything else I said no I'm ok .. Another very nice lady came over and said we took it off your bill . She didn't have to do that . I was hit with southern hospitality again and you don't get that much anymore .. yes I would come back and try more items on the menu . Great service doesn't come from the head .It comes from the heart

An "old time diner" feel. First, the staff was wonderful. From the owner, Kimberly (who was expediting and directing the servers) to our outstanding waitress, Sheri, everyone was friendly and helpful. The whole staff kicked in for a really cute Happy Birthday celebration at a nearby table. Again, we were really impressed. The food was terrific and the portions are large. Sheryl's Veggie Omelette was really stuffed with vegetables and her portion of hash browns was quite large as well. I ordered the "Country Biscuit" specialty. It included three large scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon, one sausage patty and a large, fluffy biscuit covered with a rich, savory sausage gravy. (That was my favorite - the gravy was intense and delicious. Overall a great breakfast and we'll be back.

I'm not local and that's a good thing because I'd be 800lbs eating here daily! We stopped in with a group of 6 after an early morning dive at Blue Heron Bridge. Up since 4:30a and finally eating around 10:20a, I was hangry to say the least. We all were. The moment we stepped in, the welcoming warmth was felt and my hangriness devolved slightly to hungry. We were seated shortly after arriving and our server was just as pleasant as could be. Back to the 800lb comment, I wanted to eat everything on the menu though I decided on a southern Benny. Now I'm an eggs Benedict-aholic. I like to try them at any new place I visit for breakfast but this was their take on it and you HAVE to try it. This is THE place when you're hangry after a dive or just want good ol southern hospitality.

Southern Kitchen is a breakfast staple in Lake Park. Food and services are consistently outstanding.

Went here for a quick breakfast meeting. The vibe is definitely mom and pop shop - there's regulars and everyone knows each other. The menu is super affordable and the staff are all welcoming. Real southern hospitality lives here. Our breakfast came out super fast, hot and fresh. If you're looking for a quick & good breakfast option - come here! This place sits in a small business plaza so there is typically enough parking and also additional spots on the side of the restaurant near the grass area.

This was our first time at Southern Kitchen. Our waitress, Sheryl, was so friendly and helpful in reviewing the menu. The food was on par for a standard breakfast, but nothing crazy. Good prices and portion sizes.

All good! Service is above board, food is off chart, and ambiance really nails it. Go early, everyone loves it here.

Nothing special for breakfast. I had high expectations, based on their rating. The coffee & OJ were bad.

The food was delicious. In order of best/must try: Drink: Bloody Mary: homemade tomato juice and the hint of horseradish was perfection. Food: 1) crab Benedict- crab stuffed cakes with perfectly cooked eggs. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. 2) filet + eggs + grits. The perfect amount of grits that were creamy and delicious. The steak was super tender and eggs, again, cooked perfectly. 3) BLTA salad was super refreshing 4) Chicken + waffle -- it was okay. But take the chicken and add it to the salad-- and that was the perfect combo. Dessert: The Mud Pie was the perfect way to end the meal-- though thoroughly stuffed-- it was a top 5 of mud pies! The environment is super clean, service across the board is excellent and perfect Palm Beach vibes.

It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. Perfectly charred, incredibly delish. The clams more than made up for the subpar mussels I had elsewhere the night before, too. My husband got the BBQ pizza and was very happy - both for dinner, and for the next day's lunch. I got the chicken parm, and also had plenty for a large lunch the next day. (and the green beans that came with were also JUST the way i like them - not overcooked, garlicy, and delish). Zero complaints. The fries are hand cut and amazing, the brussel sprouts are to die for, and the mashed potatoes are literally a taste of home. I am a frequenter of Stormhouse, and have had nearly everything on their menu, from the Lobster Bisque to the specials, such as their Italian Philly or Corned Beef and Cabbage (on select events), and I can tell you everything is to die for. Their bar, unlike most breweries, has a full liquor license, which means I can get a wide range of bevvy's if I'm in the mood as well, which I like. One of my favourite things about Stormhouse though, honestly, is the people! Penny, Santi, Michelle, and Brian, are all awesome, and the owners are always around and very friendly as well. If you have questions about the process of how they made their beers, they're happy to explain it. They also have events all the time, which are fun themed nights, and also something I wish more breweries would do. Whether it's a summer luau or a pirate night, the events are always awesome and a fun day/night. All in all, you can tell they really care about the quality of service, friendliness of the staff, and the overall vibe. I cannot recommend this place more highly. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars.
