    Carrot cake

The biggest hidden gem in the area!! The food was amazing!! I got the T-bone and my wife got the grouper and shrimp! Everything and I mean everything was cooked perfect including the baked potato, kids chicken strips, homemade honey mustard. The service was the best we had in Myrtle and murrells inlet. I think the entire staff can by our table. The desserts at the end were the best we ever had. The coconut cream pie was better than Kaminsky's in Charleston in their hay day and the carrot cake is everything that everyone raves about. If I could give this place an extra star I would.

WONDERFUL! DELICIOUS!! FRIENDLY FAMILY-OWNED establishment. We are in Surfside many times per year and so glad we finally tried this place. The food was fresh, hot and amazing. Also very reasonably priced based on what we normally pay for seafood around here. I can't remember having a nice meal in this town under $100 in quite a while! We both had the fisherman's platter - shrimp, grouper and crab cakes - can order it fried or grilled. Crab cakes - best I've had in any restaurant. Deep fried baked potatoes!!! Wow - who thought of that? Makes the skin so delectable. Took a huge piece of homemade carrot cake home to eat later since we were so full. It was super moist and very good. While there, multiple members of the family came out to check on us and chat. This delightful place will definitely become one of our go-to's on our rotation when we are in town. FYI - there is no bar or alcohol served but they allow BYOB wine or beer (no alcohol).

After a 10 Hour drive and not stopping to eat we were all starving. Checked out Yelp for great restaurants that aren't a chain. I came across this place and I'm so happy I did. We were warmly welcomed, and told it won't be too long for a table. My daughter had her Jets hat and shirt on, Rick, one of the owners made sure to let them know they are not Jets fans. He is a character, very funny. Everyone there is so nice, it's a family run business. Food was delicious and hit the spot. If we lived in the area we would definitely return. Jenna was great and very attentive.

A must go place! Over-the-top (in a great way) caring service. Delicious dish of grouper and crab. Surprising special baked potato. Good Cole slaw. To DIE FOR carrot cake. They do food the right way. I'll be back (maybe tomorrow!)

A favorite whenever I am in town. This place never disappoints and always look forward to coming here. Family owned and ran. No alcohol served but you can bring your own. Small menu but everything is awesome. I have about tried it all at this point and have never been dissatisfied. The homemade desserts are a must!

The fisherman's platter. I had mine grilled. There's. Fried option as well.

Always so perfect! The staff, the food, the whole environment in this restaurant is perfect. Always feel so welcomed when we're here. The food is unbelievable good and is made fresh. The best crab cake I have ever ate too. Also, if you're new to this restaurant try the deep fried baked potato. LEAVE ROOM for dessert because it's all made from scratch.

    Blackberry Cheesecake!!! Amazing!

You can blame that on living in the Carolina's for 13+ years and having a neighbor who thinks smoking meat is an art form. Fire to Table looked like a great dinner option for the entire family, so we went early with a reservation. I'm glad we did, as the place filled up quickly. The beer selection was pretty good, and I knew I had to try the BBQ platter to see how it stacked up against others. Everything I had was good - the ribs were tender, the pulled pork had good flavor, and the sauce was tasty. The brisket could have been a little juicier, but I tend to like them as little more fatty than lean, and thicker sliced. But still, very good. The owner stopped by our table and was very friendly. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone looking for BBQ in the Inlet, especially if you want to avoid the craziness around the other restaurants just down the road.

We came into this Texas Roadhouse in high spirits, expecting a normal family dinner. Unfortunately,…read morewe left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Shortly after arriving, my mother and sister came out of the restroom and noticed they were getting stared at by multiple servers and even some customers. One interaction really stood out. An older server with brown hair was walking by carrying waters. My sister smiled, apologized, and politely stepped out of her way. Instead of acknowledging her, the server gave her a very cold stare and continued walking without saying a word. It immediately made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable. The server assigned to our table, a blonde woman wearing a white bow, wasn't welcoming either. From the moment she greeted us, she never smiled and seemed like she just wanted to get through the interaction as quickly as possible. Throughout our meal, she never once came across as warm or friendly. As for the food, it was good overall, but all of our steaks were a bit salty, especially my mother's. To the manager's credit, they replaced the steaks, and I appreciate that they tried to make it right. The replacement steak was a little undercooked, but we chose not to say anything else because, by that point, we already felt uncomfortable and didn't want to make the situation any more awkward. The part that made us feel the most uneasy happened while we were paying. Our server kept looking over at us very intensely. Two other servers standing nearby, one printing our receipt while talking with another employee, also continued looking over at us. Whether intentional or not, it made us feel very uncomfortable. Another thing we noticed was that one of the songs being played in the restaurant contained a racial slur, which didn't help the atmosphere. I'm only sharing what my family personally experienced. I can't speak to anyone's intentions, but we genuinely left feeling unwelcome. If you're a person of color or Hispanic, I would simply say to be aware that this was our experience. Because of the service, the uncomfortable atmosphere, and the issues with the food, I'm giving this location 2 stars.
