This was my first visit to this spa. I had a one hour deep tissue massage scheduled with Dana, who came very highly recommended by my wife. I had to book it five days in advance ... because they are booked up so solid. Dana was awesome. She spoke to me after the massage, and gave me some great suggestions for the tightness in my leg. She was very thorough and professional. After my massage, I went back to the mens change room, took off my robe and slippers they provided, and sat in the sauna, while my wife had her massage appointment with Dana. This is only regarding the services I received. After a year of remote work, "homeschooling" and social isolation, I took my tense ass to the spa for rub down and to do something about the grime collecting in my frown lines (which developed starting in 2016). The spa itself is clean, beautiful and calm. I went in knowing that the showers, lockers and sauna weren't going to be available. And I'm completely fine with that! They are doing their best to ensure the safety of those choosing to be there. I got a package with a signature facial and massage. My facial was good and very professional. I know they have to sell the products they use, but she was non stop talking during the facial. Like, I couldn't completely relax because she gave me the play by play of what she was doing, applying and what I should eat. Afterwards, she told me I was going to have one of the "best masseuse" in the spa. I was excited. What a let down. I barely felt the woman's hands on my back. I let the massage therapist know she could put more pressure and she did, for about 3 minutes. Then she went back to the light touch. Her style of massaging was really weird. It felt like she was pushing off my body to stand up, very difficult to explain, but I managed to show many of my family members how it was. They were amused and then promptly annoyed. Did I mention the cold oil she used on me? It wasn't warmed up or anything, she slapped it on me cold. I couldn't relax. After this weird rub down, she said good bye and left me, oiled up under the sheet. With the showers unavailable, why wouldn't she at least wipe some of this off? My sister was with me that day and she had the same experience with the oiled up, left on the table to try to wipe some of it off to get clothes on. Wth? So it's obviously a training thing. I still paid the full price and left a tip. My entire family was surprised that I did since I didn't have a good experience. I figured I'm not going back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. That's what I'm doing. Uppity place, average services. And of course, these are all Cadillac problems so my complaints are small compared to the state of the world. read more

Was visiting Newport Beach and went here for the first time and had one of the best massages ever with Adriana. Deep tissue that was the perfect pressure and I felt so great after. And then in the women's locker room is a small sauna you can sit in after the massage. Such a great spot. And Adriana was amazing. I highly recommend her and this place! read more

06.16.2019 Oh how I've missed you Spa Gregories...so nice to be back! Thank you to my wonderful hubby and girls for this awesome birthday gift. I know today is Father's Day but when it falls on my birthday (usually every other year or so) we celebrate hubby and Father's Day on Saturday or Monday. This year he celebrated yesterday (Saturday)--bike riding, golfing, chicken wings and fried zucchini for dinner. So today is my birthday... Hubby and my girls bought me a "Fassage" for my birthday this year. For those of you who don't know what that means, it's a facial+massage combination treatment--45 minute back massage then a full facial with extraction. During the facial you also get your arms, hands and feet massaged during various intervals of masks on your face. You also had the option for the hot hand gloves, which I passed on because I was already feeling quite claustrophobic with the steamer in my face, the wrap over my ears and stuff on my face. Yeah, I'm weird like that! ‍ My therapist (Nikki) was great at explaining what was going to happen and the steps. Remember, I was surprised so I had no idea what treatment hubby picked for me. Aside from that, not too much talking so it was VERY relaxing! The massage and pressure was so en pointe. The facial was just as relaxing (of course except for some parts of the extraction, but not her fault). When she was done my face felt fresher and ten pounds lighter. LOL! As always the spa facilities are clean and well stocked with all you need after a treatment...Especially when you're surprised and brought here without your toiletries! I haven't been here in a couple years or so. Since then they've replaced the steam sauna with an infrared sauna. Still just as relaxing and wonderful. They provide a soft, luxurious robe, clean silicone sandals and a bracelet for your key. Lots of amenities in the dressing area and huge showers with eucalyptus spray to perfume the steam in the shower if you like. There is a comfortable quiet room with soft individual couches. They provide unlimited refreshments like trail mix, a divine hot tea, fruit spa water, and mints. The treatment rooms are fully private and they have soothing music that provides the perfect ambiance. The facials are amazing too, and they don't pressure you to buy anything, but their recommendations are always spot-on. The add-on treatments are great too. Highly recommended the peppermint foot scrub. All the massages I've tried over the years at this spa have been world class, and you will feel like you're floating on a cloud. I had a wonderful experience here! I had a 60-minute 3rd trimester massage, and Tiffany was fantastic. I let her know I was having back pain, so she did a full-body massage but focused most of the time on my back. I've done a few maternity/prenatal massages at other spas, and typically they have me lay on a pillow with a whole in the middle to make room for the bump so I can still lay face down. Here, they had a body pillow on the table so I was laying on my side. I was a little worried the massage wouldn't be as good, but it ended up being so relaxing and helpful with my back pain. My MIL got a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Quinn and loved it as well. I will definitely be back! read more

I really enjoy this spa. The redesign of the interior has made it even nicer. The changing rooms are really too tiny when it's busy though. The quiet room is relaxing and tranquil. I have had excellent massages and facials here. They even have a fassage which is a mix of the two (shorter time for each). Today I had a brow wax with Karen and it was perfect. She is meticulous and spends time making sure you are happy with the outcome. They have really nice products. I am a fan of the epicuren line. It's not inexpensive but it's effective. Poor customer service and management... I've come here a handful of times and really liked this place, but unfortunately my most recent experience was not to standard. They communicated incorrectly to me about a coupon and they provided a dirty robe with no help nearby. When I checked out the Manager spoke condescendingly to me, and did nothing to rectify the situation. That's not how to handle customer issues. I'm very disappointed in the service and probably won't be back, which is unfortunate, because the actual massage from Dana was good. read more

I called Spa Gregorie's Wednesday evening and was assisted by Anna in scheduling my Birthday at the spa. It was Spa-tastic!! This was my third time at Spa Gregorie's and I left feeling AMAZING. First, I started off with a deep tissue massage- much needed, Patty hit all areas and gave me some extra time. Next, I rolled on into my Epicurean Facial with Patricia. To say that my Epicurean Facial was an experience does not give justice to Patricia's talent and expertise. The Epicurean Facial is the Cadillac of facials bar none. Not only that, but Patricia walked me through each step of the process. I wish I took a picture post facial. My skin looked and felt AMAZING. (And Yes, I've had a hydra facial before- it's good but the Epicurean Facial is well- more comprehensive). This little day spa stays on my list. P.S. Overall I had a positive experience here. Very clean and peaceful place. I got a facial which included a massage of my arms, neck, and legs. It was amazing! They did push their products throughout the facial and even had recommendations for purchase at the end when I went to go pay. I did not feel super pressured so that was okay. The reason for the four stars was they advertise an infrared sauna. The receptionist who greeted me even mentioned it. Soooo, they DO NOT have an infrared sauna! It's just a regular one and it's not even that hot. That was a fail for me. When I asked the facialist about it she confirmed they took it out several months ago and wasn't sure why that wasn't communicated to the receptionist. What?! So kinda false advertising? Let me start by saying my massage and facial were great and very relaxing. That was not the problem. I was given $200 of gift cards by a dear friend as a gift, knowing that as a mom of two the last thing I have time or money for is to pamper myself. I was so happy to get an email from the spa about their combined massage and facial package for $180 and thought it would be a perfect way to use my gift cards, so I booked. I show up for my service today, and am told I may only pay in cash or credit. Baffled, I explain that I was given a gift card as a gift to treat myself by a friend and that is why I'm here. I'm told "Well those are DIFFERENT gift cards, sold at Costco for a discount so we don't take those for packages". I say "this was a gift, how could I possibly know where these cards were purchased from? There is no type of Costco logo anywhere..." they respond "yeah, I know, but you can't use them". Then I politely respond that if I can't use my gift cards that I won't be having my service that day and they inform me that I will be charged a NO SHOW FEE!?!?! Hello, I am standing right here!!! I did NOT no show!! Then, they proceed to tell me I can use my gift cards for a full priced service but not a package. But if I don't want to pay a "no show" fee that I will have to pay $175 for a massage and $150 for a facial!!!! Nope, definitely not! So I ask if I may just get a massage, and how much that will be. They say "well let's get you started and we will talk to a manager"... then show me to the locker room. As I'm on the phone with my husband freaking out, the front desk woman comes in and informs me that "OoooH, you have he massage/facial combo booked, that's called a 'fassage'. That's different." Me- blank stare. "That combo is only $189 regular price so you can still have your original treatment." Um I am 100% sure the type of treatment I booked was listed IN YOUR COMPUTER when I checked in!!!! ... so you stressed me the HELL out and ruined my whole experience over a discrepancy of $9. I was very disappointed with my facial today. It wasn't communicated to me that the special offer I was receiving did not include what a regular facial normally consists of. I was visibly upset and emotional about it because I drove two hours to splurge on myself, and was expecting a fantastic facial. Instead I received a shortened version with no extractions, and no face, arm, or hand massage. The fault lies in the miscommunication during booking. I'm so impressed with how the front desk staff and manager handled the situation. They treated me with respect and didn't make me feel bad for being disappointed. I'm still really embarrassed that I wasn't able to control my emotions, but it gave them the opportunity to make it right, and they did! If I remember correctly, the managers name was Brad, and he was very professional, kind, and understanding. I've never been the kind of customer to be upset or complain about a service, so this was a first for me. I'm very thankful for the way they treated me and I will be back in the future. I'm giving 5 stars because the Arcona products used on my skin were absolutely lovely, my past experiences have always been positive, and the manager and staff did everything in their power to make it right. read more

Can not wait till they are able to reopen their doors from the current lockdown! (3) THEIR MINDFULNESS AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT through COVID-19! Hands down so grateful they have provided customers with salon grade disinfectants/sanitizers when you could not find anything in the stores. Provided hand sanitizers in all forms when they flew off the shelves (not to mention they have saved my hands from the harsh chemicals due to their additives of aloe and essential oils!) AND then also providing the community with protective, washable/reusable facial masks! That were very stylish and reasonably priced too! My bf and I searched high and low for masks just to be able to go grocery shopping and provide food on the the table for our family but we're unsuccessful until we were able to purchase from Spa Gregorie's and were able to pick up our masks the very same day in a safe environment! I really hoped to love this place as much as my SIL does but it misses the mark for me. A few of us came for a last min bday. BW was booked so this was the only option. They did print a happy birthday sign for the bday girl so that was a nice touch. The front lobby smells wonderful as you walk in. I was excited for my first visit. My SIL is a regular but it was the first time for the rest of us. The lady at the front desk asked if it was our first time and we told her yes. With that questioning I was expecting some sort of tour or directions but none were given. We made our way to the back and as soon as we made it into the restroom area which you must pass through to get to the locker rooms, the smell was horrendous. It smelled like sewage spewing through the air. The odor remained in that area our entire visit and there are some printed signs in the restroom about the toilets so I'm sure the staff is aware of the smell. The front desk lady was giving another person a tour and so we just listened in. We made our way to the quiet area to wait for our masseuses. There was a group of ladies talking loudly and drinking champagne. We weren't sure if we were supposed to be quiet or not. The front desk lady told my SIL there was no champagne yet we see others drinking it. Later they told us and another person they couldn't find the champagne and just seemed very disorganized and hectic. Perhaps it was an off day but at these prices they should know where they put the champagne? My massage was not worth the price we paid. The masseuse ran her hands across my back with zero pressure as if she intended to delicately putt lotion on my skin instead of massage. I spoke up and requested more pressure and she gave a little more. Overall it was one of the worse massages I've had and the cherry on top was after my massage she told me that she didn't want to put more pressure because she was trying to give me a "relaxing massage". The arrogance?! I would have been more relaxed if she would have gotten the knot out of my shoulder. My SIL had the same experience with this masseuse previously so I was not coming in with high expectations and this was the only spot open. The rest of our party had great massages and so it depends on who you get. Each time I went back to the lockers I had to pass the terrible sewage odor. The shower area is nice and private. Have always loved my experiences here (this was my 4th time) until my latest massage with Grace. She rushed me through the entire 60min experience and paid no attention to my pressure level preference. I said I'd like hard pressure and it felt like barely anything at all. At the end of the massage she said she would be outside with water and I came out to no one there- I felt embarrassed looking around.
