We currently have spectrum , if you are a loyal customer with them , they charge you more, but if you come as a new customer they charge you less, just doesn't make sense at all. When you have issues with cable or internet issues they are not helpful And you ask them for some sore of adjustment for the inconvenience, they offer you $5 bucks off , these people are a joke . You can't call the store directly. I would love to talk to a manager about their employee Ajeet. This lovely man was a joy from the beginning. Yelling at us from across the store to come to the counter. Then when we said they gave us the wrong DVR box and that it's not working he said they didn't have any to give us to replace. Until miraculously they did. Then he turned service off and didn't tell us. My dad had to go back the next day and he told my dad it's his fault. This store has the worst service of any store I've ever been to. I made the mistake of buying a Samsung phone from them - under warranty - and when the phone died instead of telling me that the warranty was with Samsung and I need to take my phone to a Samsung store (I just gave the Samsung store a 5 star review), they told me to send it in for repair and they'd send me a new one. I didn't realize what they did until my next credit card bill came but they sold me a new phone for $1,100 and it can be returned within 2 weeks but I didn't get my credit card bill for 2 weeks so I didn't even realize what they had done to me until it was tool late and now I'm stuck with two thousand-dollar phones. Spectrum is the worst cable company ever! At&T has promotional specials for their customers, even through the pandemic they are sensitive to customers needs. Spectrum did not offer the customers any savings or deals during the pandemic, they are not a good cable company. My cable bill is $190 for one room in the house, that is totally insane! We switched over a year ago from ATT to Spectrum and paid monthly for the service on our land line. As it turns out this line was dead for over a year and we requested a credit from Spectrum. They showed no calls coming in and in fact it was a dead line. My payment was due and I asked for a credit as we were owed over 260.00 they offered me a 19.00 dollar credit and said pay today or we shut the line down. On 05/10/23 @1 pm, I had an interaction with Renee who I believe was disrespectful and unprofessional in their behavior towards me. Last week on 05/02/23 My sister-in-law, Inna, and I went into Spectrum to transition my name to her account because she moved away. My sister-in-law called the day before and said we don't have to get new equipment or anything and should be a smooth transition. At the store, the coworker said that we would need to create a new account and then, as we mentioned we didn't want a new modem or router, but he gave us one, and at the time we did tell him we were told we don't have to pay for an activation fee $24.99. Before switching the accounts, I believe that my sister-in-law paid the amount of money for the month $85 and then he canceled the account. We were not aware that I was getting a new modem and router at that time would cancel her account so when I arrived home, there was no Internet. Then I started setting up my new modem and router and come to find out that my sister-in-law called, and they said that my account should have been active til May 23. And at that time when my account was activated, I had issues connecting to the Internet long story short the guy at the store made another mistake and wrote down the wrong numbers of serial numbers so I wasn't able to connect to the Internet, and I also called a few people called somehow some one person fixed it, and it was made aware that the information on the box was different from the physical modem and with somebody else's account that we don't know. When calling about the cancellation of my sister-in-law's account, I talk to many people and talk to a supervisor, and they gave us options about canceling my new account, reactivating hers, and using the rest of the Internet service for that period of time. I was already frustrated because I made it aware that there was no point in going to the store and the chaos that happened after. I said let's do whatever is easier and that my sister in laws money would not go to waste. The supervisor specifically told me because of the plan changes she was going to keep my account and reimburse my sister-in-law and waive my activation fee. I called today 05/10 and they were able to address the activation fee of $24.99 on my account. And then, when explaining about my sister-in-law's payment and what we were told about reimbursement, the employee said there was nothing she can do. I requested to speak to a supervisor which was Renee, she said that we should've known about the billing cycle and whatnot and disregarded the principle of the situation, basically saying that there was nothing that she can do. She brushed it off like it was our fault and that's it have a nice day. I tried to explain to her that we would've prevented this if there was better communication from spectrum employees either the guy would've at the time at the store just told us to come back on May 23 or have them reactivate my sister in law's account and use up the amount she paid for. I called again right after and spoke to a different employee, and she was able to address the matter and reimburse $60 (this is much appreciated because my projected about that would be a loss would be around $57 which may take 2 weeks. As a customer and a person who works in an environment dealing with customers, I knew I had to talk to a different person for a different outcome. When dealing with Renee specifically a Spectrum supervisor, she had me question my keeping an account with Spectrum and wanted to forget the company and the money and cancel. As a Spectrum customer for, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism by all employees, especially supervisors. The behavior of Renee was unacceptable and does not reflect the level of service that I have come to expect from Spectrum. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that such incidents do not occur again in the future. If I could give them a negative rating I would. This company is horrible, I scheduled an upgrade to my internet and they said they had to charge me $200 to send a tech out to my home to do it. I asked "could this be done without having a tech come out and the fee"? Her answer was no. So my bill is now %05 higher than it was 2 months ago--for no additional service. Nada To "migrate" to Spectrum, I would have to pay even more for the same horrible package, teeming with channels I have either never heard of or have just been started by the people who designed the Edsel. My review isn't for the Santa Clarita store but for Spectrum. I was a Time Warner cable and internet customer since first being available. Spectrum took over more than four years ago and my TWC plan was grandfathered into Spectrum with no changes other than constant price increases bringing my monthly bill to $144+ with no premium channels or services. My current Spectrum bill contained this notice... "IMPORTANT BILLING UPDATE Thank you for being a Spectrum customer. We hope you continue to take advantage of all that your services have to offer. You have been receiving a discounted rate on your bill. This rate is coming to an end beginning with next month's statement. As a result, the rate for your Spectrum services will increase by $10." I called customer service asking what was discounted and was told they had no information as it was a promotional rate from Time Warner. No information? Then how do they know I was receiving a discounted rate? BULL$hip, what kind of promotional rate lasts over four years? Customer service had no answers other than my bill would be going up by $10 a month, and they didn't even kiss me. I hope they still respect me. read more

I am an existing customer trying to transfer my service to my new house. This has turned into a complete clown car of professionalism. Nobody can make this happen apparently. I've spoken to five different representatives including tech-support and one supervisor. Because spectrum dropped the ball they want me to come in to the office with proof I own the house. And all they have to do is send a signal to my existing spectrum box at the new address to make it work. What a complete waste of time. The previous spectrum customer who I bought the house from not only canceled but also went to the UPS store and sent back her equipment. Unfortunately, the Spectrum company is unwilling to work with its customers. When they say no contact, that is LIE!!! If you get both internet and cable, they consider that a bundle. If you bundle your products, Spectrum considers that a contract. They just don't disclose that information. Also, if you cancel any service in the middle of a billing cycle, you will not be prorated or refunded a single penny. All they will say is we don't prorated. Spectrum gives no discount for elderly or disabled people either. Shame on this company. The worst customer experience I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. read more

Every time I have dealt with Spectrum customer service, they have played the operator shuffle game, putting me on hold until a different person takes my call or chat and making it time consuming and difficult to accomplish what I need to do, particularly when it involves downgrading or a service problem. I am disbelief at their incompetence. They have been unable for over a year to correct a problem stemming from the way my account was set up by their own staff. Each time I call it takes them an hour to sort things out and then they insist they are the smart one that fixed it. This is not a review of the store in particular, but of Spectrum in general. I called to order new service, tv and internet. When ordering, I asked for the fastest speed, 300 mbps, and was willing to pay the $199.95 installation fee. However, a couple days after ordering, and a couple days BEFORE installation, I read a bunch of negative reviews and decided to change it to 100 mbps for just $49.95 installation, figuring I'll ramp up speed later if it works smoothly. I had a 9 minute conversation 3 days before installation, and confirmed the change to 100 mbps. Technician comes and says his work order says 300 mbps; I ask if I need to call to have it changed, he says no he'll take care of it. He installs the 100 mbps, we test the speed several times and it tops out at about 85 mbps, which is still plenty fast and just fine. I got my bill today, and I was charged the $199.95 installation fee for the 300 mbps! I called to complain, and they said the will change my service to the 100 mbps, but because I ordered the installation for the 300 mbps, they won't reverse that charge. I told them I called beforehand to change the installation and told them I would even send them a screenshoot of my phone log, and they said their computer doesn't show the 2nd call so there's nothing they can do. STAY AWAY FOR SPECTRUM, they're idiots and they're willing to call you a liar to make their money. read more

Spectrum as a company needs a lot of work but both times I've been to this location (upgrade devise and cancel service) it's always been super smooth and easy.
