I've been coming here for years and really enjoy the outdoor patio. Wraps are great but they totally overseason them and it was particularly bad the last time I was there. It's to the point where all I taste is salty chicken layered with salty feta and salty sauces. Please keep an eye out on the seasoning as your food is delicious and doesn't need all that extra salt. The other day I had a gyro -- OMG again. I ordered online and went to pick up. I got there early and chatted a couple of minutes with the cashier. He was very friendly and I noted that the cooking space is so small that it must have been really hot for them. He was kind, said "yes" but took it in stride. What wonderful people. It's been a while since I've had Spitz, so I decided to try it again since I was at the Eagle Rock Plaza, and it's really good. I decided to get the Street Cart Doner Wrap with Beef and Lamb, and it's delicious. Note that the garlic aioli is made with raw egg, so there is a small asterisk on the menu to be aware of. Some cons are that the parking is really small and tight. The restaurant is also very small, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. I ordered one wrap, which took a long time to get. Some people ordered after I did and got their meal before me. They need a better system. They didn't call me when my wrap was ready, so I waited a bit longer than I had to. They need a buzzer system or something so it is a bit more organized. Also, I read some of the reviews after I went, which were a bit disturbing regarding the cleanliness. But overall, the food is good, the actual wrap is a bit small compared to the other Mediterranean wraps I've had at other restaurants, but it tasted good, although they should make it a bit bigger. read more

I love their fries! I literally could eat them every single day. I've been to their Little Tokyo location, but this was my first time at the Eagle Rock location. I prefer this location. I love the outdoor seating area and the parking situation, hands down, is way better than the Little Tokyo location. I've tried a few things but the one that's always on repeat are the fries!!!! You cannot go wrong with the fries! It's the perfect texture, seasoning and size. They're good alone but also taste fantastic with the garlic aioli sauce! Service was ok. Not bad, but not great - a bit slow, considering there wasn't a swarm of people; it was actually pretty empty. The inside is definitely smaller than the Little Tokyo location, but again, their outdoor space makes up for it - it's incredible! It's spacious and feels private from the street. read more

However, lately (maybe after Covid? the extra meat option would barely be the amount of what a regular Spitz sandwich used to be.
