On a brilliant Miami night of cool 60's weather, we decided to beat the clock "Spris style". From 5:30 to 7:00pm daily, you can order 3 pizza variations, genovese, diavola or margherita and the amount you pay depends on your order time. If you order at 6:30, the price of these pizzas is $6.30 each. The pizzas are good for about 1.5 to 2 people. A couple could easily share 1 pizza + 1 appetizer. The pizzas are simple and basically a good tasting pizza. We also shared burrata and prosciutto appetizer and it was delicious and great paired with wine. Spris is very kid friendly and clean. Mista salad, BURRATA I visited Spris on recommendation from a gentleman at MOOD Fabric ... I am traveling and wasn't able to check into hotel until 4pm, so needed something without leftovers. This pretty much fit the bill. The salad is not dressed, you get to decide how much balsamic vinegar and oil to you want on it. They also bring oregano, park, and red pepper flakes .. along with salt & pepper. I also put some balsamic vinegar on the cherry tomatoes on the burrata plate. The decor is amazing and the staff was extremely kind as well as reasonably priced. However, I came for food and not anything else. It wasn't bad. The vegetables are flavored before being applied. I've been here often enough for a casual dinner or while waiting for my dog at the nearby pet grooming salon, that it's about time I give Spris a shoutout for being a tasty casual Italian restaurant! I stopped in the other day after another work marathon and seeking some Italian comfort food (and my only meal since I skipped lunch that day). The comp Peroni draft that my check-in brought me was a good break from the hectic day. Having gone on an empty stomach the whole day, I had a full 3 course meal. Let's start with my favorite appetizer. The prosciutto slices were generously served and just salty and my mozzarella ball was cool, rich and creamy. I also ordered extra tomato slices, to be healthy . Next up were the meatballs and marinara sauce. The sauce was plentiful , though the meatballs could have been a little larger. I closed out with the Hawaiian pizza. Being the only person in Miami who likes that type of pizza, I have to say it was on point ' crispy, with plentiful pineapple and not overly cheesy. The GOOD: the diavola (spicy pepperoni) pizza was really good! Glad I got it and I would repeat. The calamari was also yummy and, surprisingly, was still crunchy and not gummy by the time I picked it up & drove home. Both the lasagna and meatballs were good. I don't usually like meatballs but I ate, like, 2 of these. My mom is a picky lasagna eater and she really enjoyed this one. The BAD: the pancetta on the carbonara pizza had an incredibly off-putting smell, to the point of being inedible for both me and my mom. It was a waste of money and I would not recommend. I really wanted to give a 3 (really, a 2) for the level of offense this pizza brought to my senses but the other dishes were all very enjoyable and don't deserve that. The EXCELLENT: the tiramisu OMG. I order tiramisu anytime I see it, which seems like a personal torture because I never truly enjoy it. Still, there's something about it that makes me believe that at its most perfectly made, tiramisu can actually be good -- and wow, this tiramisu was the experience I've been waiting for. Love their pizza. I would say there's around 10 places in Miami where you can find authentic Italian pizza with thin crust and few ingredients on top just like Italians do and Spris is definitely one of them. I live nearby so everytime I'm craving for pizza Spris is my address (if I'm lazy to go somewhere more far). Nice, cozy patio and always welcoming staff. Personally I love nice, chill rose wine to pair with my pizza and I always do that. As i said, they have very nice selection of pizzas since I'm not fan of american ways of making pizzas (pineapple on, 5+ toppings...) so indulge yourself and enjoy everything Spris can offer you, you won't regret. read more

I ordered to go and I must say that even though I didn't have the full sit down experience, the service while I waited was great. I was greeted in a very friendly manner and immediately had my order taken. They offered me a seat at the little bar area where you can see the magic happen. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. It looked really nice to see them prepare the pizza. For my order, I love white pizza and they have a good variety to choose from. My love for cheese obviously drove me to the Quattro Formaggi. This heavenly pie comes with mozzarella, brie, gorgonzola and smoked scamorza. Holy shnikes!!! Honestly it was just amazing. The mixture of flavors of each distinct cheese just makes me so happy. You have creamy, smokey, crumbly, salty, and with a bite. The crust is also to be noted. I love that it was thin and perfectly baked. I have had experiences where the crust is thin, but somehow undercooked to where the pizza became soggy within minutes. This was definitely not the case here. It held the firmness of the crust. I will be coming back for a sit down experience as I am pretty sure it will be a longer version of the great service I received for take out. The salad was a joke. The customer service was shameful. I live two blocks from this restaurant so I'm a very frequent customer. However this weekend was my last time at Spris. My Quinoa Tabouli Salad came with 1 1/2 cherry tomato, 2 tiny Apple slices and zero cucumber !!!! I kindly asked the server if I could have more tomato and apple since arugula and quinoa alone wasn't what I expected.
