Really enjoyed this pizza spot in midtown! Food, service and vibes were on point. We got the Diavola, the pepperoni and a Limoncello spritz. Also, if you go between 5:30-7:00pm you get half off one some of the pizzas. I will be coming back!

Average pizza, average service. Much better pizza places but had to try here since I was in the area craving pizza.

A great option at the shops at midtown. Feels touristy. Parking available in the parking garage or street. Yes... you're going to PAY for parking. So budget in $5-$30,000.00 in parking for the day or evening. Service was great. Everyone was pleasant even though someone in our party challenged a menu item with the server. Oh boy. Seating options indoor and out. We opted for outside because it was such a pretty day. Inside seating is just as nice. In the area and looking for a sit down meal that isn't fast foody and more than halfway decent and a reasonable price... good choice.

I hadn't been here in a while. Since I decided to eat somewhere in the neighborhood, I opted for Italian. It's a cute establishment with additional outdoor seating which is usually my vibe. Sunday sipping and people watching. I started with a spritz which you can't go wrong with. I love bubbles. For the appetizer, fried calamari, shrimp, and veggies. This was probably my fav of everything we ordered. The lasagna wasn't firm and was bland. As was the margarita pizza. But the crust was really good! Antonio our server was friendly. Could have been a bit more attentive tho. We had to track him down a couple times but it did get a little busy outside fast. In all, we enjoyed ourselves. I may go back and try a different type pizza if I'm in the mood for a slice.

Quick service, good sized pizza for one for lunch. Pizza tasted very fresh with fresh ingredients.

My friend and I couldn't understand why Spris received so many three-star ratings. The reviews seemed to be mainly on the food rather than the pizza. But an artisan pizzeria couldn't possibly earn a three-star rating, right? That's what we believed until we ate here. Everything was average. This includes the services. We arrived about 8:30 p.m. and were told that we couldn't sit at the table we wanted because they were closing soon. Although it was specified online that they did not close until 10:30 pm. We started with the bruschetta originale, then moved on to the gnocchi with pesto, as well as the ortolana and alba pizzas. Everything came out quickly. We would have preferred that the pizza been cooked a little longer because it was still slightly doughy. The food tasted fresh, but none of these items stood out. This was also the case with the glass of Merlot I ordered. Instead, we found ourselves adding salt and garlic olive oil to spice things up. Overall, the restaurant was clean. There was street parking nearby.

The server was phenomenal, and the food tasted great, though portions run a little small for the price. One thing that caught me off guard: most of the table ordered tacos and enchiladas, but when the plates arrived, the "tacos" were essentially flautas and the "enchiladas" were more like tacos (the photo shown is the enchiladas). Naming aside, both dishes were delicious. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the staff sang for her and brought out a complimentary dessert--hands down the best brownie dessert I've ever had. The drinks were good, the food came out hot, and the ambiance was wonderful, with friendly, kind staff throughout. What did we order? Chorizo Queso: Not your traditional dipping queso, but FULL of flavor and the chorizo was great, decent portion. The table loved this. Comes with some warm fresh purple corn tortillas! 9/10 Guacamole: Nothing extraordinary, standard guac, I wish there was more guac and chips! The tortillas these come with are the same as the queso but fried and uncut. A little different but it was a nice change! 7/10 Chicken and Chorizo Enchiladas: Not your standard enchilada that you may be used to! Full of flavor though and everything was cooked very well! 8/10! Drinks: 10/10 Fair warning: expect a bit of sticker shock when the bill arrives.

Even with reservations they were a little slow in seating for a fairly empty restaurant (noon). Ordered drinks (tea $6 and coffee $5) then brunch. Seems like service coordination is very off. My spouse got the appetizer a good 15 minutes before mine. I had the biscuit, that was very tasty. The fruit, granola yogurt was good too. The main of crab Benedict was served, next although already cooled and the sauce a congealed. My main, after a good 30 minutes still had not arrived. Apparently a steak and eggs can be miscooked and they had redone it, never bothering to tell us. I did not try it there. Refills on the coffee were never offered. We took the steak and our cinnamon buns to go since we had been there long enough. The final kicker is they have an automatic 20% service charge in order to ensure the staff is paid enough. Seems like a business problem to me. Service was not up to that high of a standard. If you go during Miami Spice I hope they have figured out how to sequence the courses and get them to the table correctly while still hot.

And since experiencing his Disney Springs restaurant Morimoto Asia, I had been looking forward for him to come to Miami. This was a couple of years back during the cooler season in Miami. RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. FOOD: The menu have the right amount of options, from finger food to ramen, sushi and not to mention the drinks. For starters, pork belly and soft shell crab bao and bbq ribs. Deliciousness! The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.

During our last visit, an expensive black Prada bag disappeared inside the restaurant. At first, the General Manager, CECILIA , confirmed that we arrived with the bag and stated they were reviewing all camera footage. The communication became increasingly contradictory, and instead of transparency and professional assistance, we were eventually accused of acting "fraudulently" and formally trespassed from the property. What shocked us most was not only the disappearance of a valuable personal item, but the way loyal customers were treated afterward: no transparency, no proper cooperation, no accountability, and accusations without clear proof. We remained respectful throughout the entire process and simply asked for clear confirmation regarding the footage. Instead, the situation escalated into accusations and threats of trespassing. If personal belongings can disappear inside a restaurant and management responds this way, guests should seriously think twice before leaving valuables there. At this point, we sincerely hope the restaurant owner or upper management reviews this situation carefully, conducts a proper internal investigation into how this matter was handled, and contacts us directly in hopes of reaching a fair resolution regarding both the significant financial loss and the emotional distress we experienced as a result of this situation and the unfounded accusations made against us. Josette S. posted the event, and this was my second time at Chef Allen's Farm to Table dinners, since I'd previously indulged at an Elite event a few years back. There is still free parking across the street. The dining area had various farmer market booths around selling vegetables, jams and a tasty cherry Italian ice. To a carnivore like me, salads are typically just the app or first course, but as a vegetarian meal everything was a salad. We started with a family-style plate of various (yellow, red, and roma) tomatoes and fried okra. I found out veggie dishes can be fried! The third course of roasted potatoes and red peppers along with a cool yet spicy red pepper hummus. This contained my usual veggie plates so it was easily my favorite! Main course was a piece of eggplant parmesan with just the right amount of tomato, cheese and a side of wild rice. I ate most of the eggplant "meat" but left the skin. The second course, other than the shredded carrots, was the one I could have passed on. Like President Bush, Broccoli wouldn't be prudent, not gonna do it.. Dessert was a rich, not overly sweet, piece of chocolate brownie. Though I said in was going to be a troll and have a burger afterward, I was actually satisfied! Chef Allen himself spoke the first event I went (during the elite event) giving a history of how each dish related to the dinners theme. However, he wasn't there at Monday's event so we missed out on that. Still, the manager and staff from the Books and Books cafe were very pleasant and informative. I'd definitely give the cows another break sometime.

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. I am a coffee snob and this drink was made to perfection! Absolutely delicious and I didn't want the cup to end! It was the perfect balance of smoothness and warmth and it was sweetened perfectly! For breakfast, I decided to get the mushroom toast and it was amazing! I was skeptical about the ricotta addition but it was spread on the toast like butter, very plentiful and tasty! That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier. Very attentive and lots of smiles! They genuinely seemed happy to have me and treated me like a guest in their home. I genuinely can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu! Thank you for an amazing experience!
