We rented a Cabana at Spruzzo and we were delighted with the service. Our waiter Mario was very attentive and had helpful suggestions. The food was delicious, I recommend the Octopus which was cooked perfectly. The ambiance is top tier and the music was on point. This is where you'll find a more upscale Miami crowd. You can't beat the view, which overlooks the water and Palm Beach Island. The cabana required that we spent a minimum of $500, and a deposit of $250 (the deposit went to the overall bill at the end of our service). Make sure to arrive around 11 because the pool lounge chairs are first come first serve. The pool staff was very quick to help us find seating so that our group was next to each other. Katie handled booking the reservation for us and made sure we had the best cabana in the house. She was extremely helpful and patient. Overall, I can't wait to go back! read more

I had eight people with me made these reservations about a month ago to go and eat in the restaurant in the Ben-hotel upstairs. Beautiful view of the intercoastal when the pool deck when we got up there we got the menus and we all ordered and the waiter came back and told us that that was the wrong menu and they didn't have anything like that on their menu now have a tapas like menu !!!Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed but I must say the manager came up and took us downstairs to his other restaurant proper grits it's open for breakfast and lunch. I wasn't aware of that. It is a very expensive lunch. The waitress was very nice but actually the food came out little bit at a time. and it really wasn't busy It would've been much nicer if everything came out like it's supposed to. Spruzzo is a rooftop restaurant located at The Ben Hotel. When you arrive, there is a separate elevator right at the entrance of the hotel to go to the roof, be sure to look for it to the right of the main entrance doors. Or just ask valet. Came here a handful of times as my buddy was having his wedding at the hotel, we would go here for drinks, hang out, have some tasty foods etc. Staff is friendly and helpful, you can pretty much choose to sit wherever, most of the time we sat in the sun on those comfy "booths" near the glass. Menu looks good, appetizers are wonderful, drinks were plentiful with cocktail options and local beers. All I gotta say is get the grilled octopus!!! Amazing! I could've eaten like 6 tentacles! It's grilled perfectly, the drizz of herb oil on it is fantastic! Very popular item! Other tables had lovely looking food too that we drooled over to put in our memory bank to get on our next visit. Service was fine each time we went (day & night), prices were what I thought it would be. It's a relaxing, upscale but not uptight, no riff raff, friendly, comfortable atmosphere with amazing views. The views from this rooftop bar are UNMATCHED! Spruzzo has an upscale ambiance and is great place to grab drinks and enjoy the view of palm beach! I started off with the "Saint Tropez Martini" it was infused with cucumber and thyme and was very refreshing! (a bit of a high price point $18 but again your paying for the ambiance). I also tried their "BBQ Octopus" which was one grilled octopus leg served with chimichurri potatoes- I really enjoyed the dish and think the octopus was cooked perfectly although the bbq sauce was absent (in my opinion). Went for drinks after brunch, the ambience was nice. The DJ played house music the whole time, which is good, if that's your vibe. My one star is because the manager received several complaints (even from their own staff) about opening the canopy mid day in the Florida heat. Several people were getting sunburnt and several tables were requesting it to be closed. Please keep it closed during the day or at least invest in umbrellas for the tables where people don't want to be scorched in the sun. Nonetheless, great city view. read more

Not even a glass of water, mind you the restaurant was completely empty with a few people at the bar. We waited for an additional 20 min but no server came to greet us when they were all just standing around. We decided to leave and every waiter just stared at us walk out of the restaurant. The view is the experience. Service was polite but we definitely waited for a while to be attended to and it wasn't particularly busy. The lollipop lamb was so good and drinks were solid. It was a relaxing spot to grab a snack when staying at the hotel after a long day. read more

The food is great and views are dope. The music was also a vibe with water views. There was a guitarist playing so beautifully I thought the radio was on the whole time! It blew my mind. We were excited to visit this place. We arrived around 7 pm last Saturday expecting will be quiet but it was pretty busy. Place is nice, service is great, and food is great but drinks are ok. I don't think I will be visiting this place again because the drinks are not amazing. I definitely recommend make a reservation and try to get a table on the pool side so you can enjoy better your time. Parking is on the street or valet parking. We parked on the street but took us around 20 minutes to find parking since this bar is on west palm beach down town parking is crazy here. read more

Although I had a less than ideal experience with the bartender last time, I returned to West Palm Beach to celebrate my 45th birthday with my cousins. Where is the best pool, i asked... The Ben, Spruzzo! We arrived and let them know we had reserved a cabana.. Everyone was very nice but also very confused & frazzled. We were asked no less than 6 times by 6 different people our name to confirm the cabana. We were soooo annoyed. We finally got to our cabana & while the pool area is rather small it was lovely. Our waited was sweet & all the food we ordered was good. The later it got (& the more we drank) the funner it got! The crowd was not really my bag... Very little diversity. My family & I were the only hispanics as far as I could tell (oh! our waiter was too) so there's that... but the music was good & the sun was beaming! Had such a good time & would definitely come back. Just hope they're more organized next time & don't repeatedly ask who we are upon check-in, lol. read more

The VIEW is everything! I think it's the best view in west palm. Overlooking the marina with the beautiful yachts and seeing palm beach is breathtaking. The drinks are always good but the Herb marinated skirt steak is my absolute favorite steak! My friend and I always go and split the steak because it's huge and they plate it separately. We are staying at the hotel, and my husband surprised me with dinner here with friends and I have to start by saying the vibe here is everything. It's on the 8th floor so you get an amazing view of Downtown west palm and the marina. I ordered the Ben burger and it was really good. I asked for a side of their house mustard aioli and that made the burger even better. My husband ordered the Rib-eye and he said it was pretty good! Had to ask for water refills and had to continually wait on the server to place drink and food orders. We wanted to order dessert (as she did bring us the dessert menu) but it took soooo long for her to come by again, we just skipped it. We had heard that going to the roof too bar at Spruzzo's which is located on top of The Ben Hotel was a must see view. This turned out to be true! As we just wanted drinks we sat at the bar and enjoyed the view and some outstanding old fashions and martinis. Jeff our bartender made excellent drinks and was a delight to talk to. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was some of the best places we've been to. We got to enjoy the gorgeous view and sunset, had the hummus appetizer and some amazing cocktails. The pictures of the view is what drew me into this place. Along with the beautiful south florida weather on a Sunday, what better place than to enjoy brunch with good food and an incredible view? Walking in, amazingly was seated right away along the wall over looking the waterway. The place is on the rooftop of a hotel, next to the pool with a nice sized bar and plenty of seating options. A friendly server arrived and broke our hearts when we heard the words "there's no brunch". We had driven an hour, found parking and already seated, ok a la carte menu it is. The ibiza cocktail was ordered, a play on white sangria featuring coconut rum and fresh fruit. Sounds great, looks nice, didn't deliver. Felt I was drinking juice. The crispy manchego bites also disappointed. A quick play on cheesesticks didn't felt there was enough cheese to truly appreciate it. The tuna tataki salad, costing a whopping $25 was a regular salad (lettuce, tomato, red onions) creamy dressing and five (5) pieces of tuna on top. Fail. The prosciutto flatbread was a piece of bread, toasted, garnished with greens, prosciutto and nuts. No flair, nothing special, $18. After spending over $100 on these four items, I was utterly disappointed. The place has so much potential and the view is breathtaking. No brunch? Could have been better. read more

This bar is an awesome choice for a Friday or Saturday night and it's right next to the pool. I hear they also host a fun pool party. We like the lillet drink with lavender and the espresso martini best! I'm also still dreaming about the mashed potatoes that came with the grilled calamari. I got the beet orange salad and it was a nice light dinner for a late night. This is a great place for a photo-op. Check out the Perry Strait Band down in the bar below on Saturday's as well. This beautiful hotel is a great addition to downtown West Palm. We like to stick with the very high end spots so we decided to spend the whole night out here! read more

We came here for the view but the food was good too. For starters we had the meatballs, octopus and the manchengo cheese bites. The meatballs were made of lamb and were good. The octopus was tender and really flavorful. The cheese bites were crunchy on the outside and ooey gooey on the inside. The drinks were strong and they have top shelf spirits. Our server was very attentive. For dinner we had the Ben burger, the lomo sandwich, the skirt steak, clams and mussels and the paella. Can I tell you how huge the paella dish was?
