Very surprised how good this pizza is. I had several flavors * Buffalo chicken * Bacon chicken ranch * Pepperoni * Margarita * Meatball parmesan * Sausage and Pepper The portions for the price were very good, one slice is a very filling pizza. If you're looking for some good novelty pizzas or just a thick crust pizza, I would recommend this place nice job guys especially for a chain pizza restaurant

The pizza is great! Probably the best around. However, please skip the chicken wings. They are just simply terrible. I believe that they either just go to the microwave or they have them already cooked and heat them up in the oven. Skip the wings at all cost. They are a big dissapoiment.

Fantastic place - nu age pizza place. In case you missed the point, this place ONLY has square shaped pizza slices. Actually, they may have like 1 or 2 triangles lying around but why would you order that? I had a spicy soppressata slice, and a margherita slice - both were outstanding. The space is super clean, and the service is excellent.

First time trying this place and was warmly greeted by the employee working. He did not rush me while I was deciding which slices to pick and was very polite. That already put me in a good mood. The tables are general areas are tidy...even the bathroom. Sometimes places are dirty and that ruins my appetite so I'm glad that wasn't the case here. The pizzas are a thicker variation and was a good change from the typical thin slices I get elsewhere. I usually prefer the thinner slices but I really enjoyed both slices! I'm glad I gave this place a try and will be back!

I hadn't heard of this pizzeria until this past week so my first instinct was to give it a try. '00' Italian flour is commonly used in Italy and the results are typically unbeatable. The dough is airy and light/fluffy and creates an amazing pizza. Not to disappoint, SQ Pizza in Mahwah definitely did not disappoint rather it was a great dining experience to go! So head on over and order a large flat of your favorite varieties. You too will be surprised.

I was in Upper Saddle River visiting my cousin and her husband brought a sampler of this pizzeria home for us to have for dinner. It was midweek. He heated in the oven first and the smell drive me crazy. I couldn't wait to dive in. I liked the cheese one. The pepperoni was also good but the toppings were disproportionate. We all agreed the mushroom was not going on the reorder list. All had a great crust. That was a highlight. The flavors were good. My cousin's favorite is the veggie one.

We tried this new (to us) pizza place for delivery. We got a full pan pizza with prosciutto, soppressata and fresh mozzarella. We weren't expecting it to be quite so large...I think there were 12 slices and it was more filling than traditional pizza. The dough is excellent, more bready than traditional circle pizza but not dense like Sicilian. Definitely not thin crust. We will order from them again. We also ordered the caprese which came with a nice balsamic dressing on the side. The portion was a little on the small side, but then we couldn't finish it because the pizza was so filling. It made a nice salad the next day

SO happy to find such a delicious GF pizza minutes from me! Nice thin crust, not so thin the toppings fall through (other pizza shops could take some notes!!) but just crispy enough. AND it's even good cold, a true mark of delicious in my opinion!

Wow, I called up from my hands free phone to place an order while I was driving and woman on other end who did sound very nice she said "I would have to do that online for a delivery, but if I picked up I can order over phone". Ok so I called back and ordered for pick up , she said it would be ready in 25 minutes , I said can you make it 45 minutes she said no problem. I get pizza home and dough is RAW. I called back and woman said "oh, we can make you another one if you would like" I was like are you for real. she then offered me a refund. No apologies or anything. I will never ever go back here .

I ordered this for my clients for lunch today. I ordered several random things for them. For myself I ordered the veggiewich pizza sandwich minus the cheese. I asked the restaurant to separate my food and they did just that. The food arrived on time and my clients enjoyed it. It came to a little over $100 with delivery fee and tip. When I got the chance to dig in it was good. I never had a sandwich like this before and even without cheese it was still tasty. All in all I had a good experience.

Never in my life have a dealt with such atrocious customer service. I've order a GF white pie, mozzarella & ricotta with an added topper of prosciutto. When my items arrived they instead gave me a pie with arugula, cheese, prosciutto with balsamic on top. When I called to inquire about the pie and mix up order the "manager" Ben told me that's what I've ordered. When I told him what my order said he then told me that if I put I want prosciutto on a white pie this is what will pop up- regardless if that's not what you've ordered. So then he proceeded to tell me that I can replace the order again (w/delivery fee) or pick it up in person. I expressed that the reason I order online is because the line of work I'm in restricts me from leaving. He proceeded to get nasty stating he doesn't know what to tell me since he doesn't have drivers (a refund was not offered at this time). So I re-expressed the position that I was in and how I wanted to be met in the middle (especially considering it was them who decided what type of pizza I wanted) and he continued to be nasty with me. So I asked how will I know he will process the refund since it was done online and he just goes you'll see your refund hunny and disconnected the call. I called back because I still wanted to ensure it was gluten free as it was clearly not something I ordered and he condescendingly said, how long have you been gluten free? Do you even know what gluten free looks like? Ben behavior was egregious to say it kindly. The fact that they were in the wrong and decided to take the route of being rude and defensive when I just wanted what I ordered is preposterous. NEVER WILL THIS PLACE RECEIVE MY BUSINESS

This is not your usual pizzeria. It is definitely worth you trying. It is interesting that all the pizza slices are cut into rectangles, we thought squares from its name SQ Pizza. We have ordered from here a few times, and a couple of times I ordered through the DoorDash app. The platform was easy to use to place your order. It arrived quickly in a timely manner. The pizza arrived warm-hot and tasted perfect when delivered. The only confusion I have is the number of slices of rectangular pizza in a full pan. We always order the Margherita. The tiramisu was so-so. Tasted too creamy and dry. I'd recommend trying this new pizzeria in town. read more

I only had a an arugula salad when I visited, only disappointment is that they offer no protein to put on it. The salad was super fresh and the tomatoes popped with flavor; next time I'll try the pizza. read more

Went in with high expectations based on friends' suggestions- others like this place. I ordered the pepperoni and the margarita square pies. Both were 6/10. Not enough flavor. The texture of the crust is nice and it's impressive that they use wood fired ovens. But the sauce is just not there and the cheese seems flat in both texture and flavor. read more

We just moved to Mahwah and we have been enjoying this pizza every week. The Popeye is my favorite, the margherita, zucchini, mushroom.. Yum!! The crust is delectable. Really satisfying bite. Fresh ingredients. Service is awesome. Super nice people and helpful. Definitely recommend. read more

We get pizza from here all the time and it is absolutely one of the best places in the area. It's a little more expensive than some others but well worth it. Personally, for me, they took the crown from la gondola. I suggest you give them a shot if you haven't! read more

We saw the article in the local paper & decided to give a new business a try. Well done! All 6 of us throughly enjoyed both styles of pizza. We tried Marquerita 1/2 square & regular round w/onions... both excellent.. not salty or oily.. crust done well! The only reason not a 5 th star.. the whole square pie would be alittle too pricey & delivery only through delivery app services. Worth a try , will be back. read more

I haven't even finished eating my pizza, which was delivered only 10 minutes ago, and I had to rush here to let you all know that if you're not ordering this pan pizza by the end of today, you're making the worst decision of your life. The dough, the sauce, everything, it's amazing. I work in the city, lived in Hoboken for many many years, this is where it's at. I'm coming back! read more

Ok this pepperoni pizza is right on par with Prince Street Pizza in the village in New York City!!! Amazing square pie and we eat it multiple times a week! Go and get the pepperoni pie with the little pepperoni's! You will not regret it! I think this is the best pizza this side of the Hudson and I have eaten alot of pizza! read more

SQ makes the best gluten-free pizza! My family loves the square pizza. The caprese salad is delicious and reasonably priced and the carmelized wings are great! They also provide an estimated time when your order will be ready. read more

I've frequented SQ several times and have been more than pleased each time! The pizza is delicious with a light, airy crust. The sauce is very tasty as well, which always helps. The sandwiches are also delicious as they are served on bread that is nearly identical to the pizza crust. The staff is quite friendly and the service is quick! I find myself craving pizza from here at least once a week! Love it ! read more

Staff was very friendly and easy to order via website or phone. Got the half pan of the Americana. Was very doughy and needed more sauce and cheese. Definitely enough for two people to share. Alittle pricey since it was only about 6 slices or so. Worth a try since they have a lot of flavors and sandwiches as well. read more

Ok for Jersey Pizza this is real good. Growing up in NYC, Manhattan and Queens you become a pizza snob. We have not found anything close. We ordered A Meat Lovers SQ, and a Margarita Rd they were very tasty made with double zero flour fresh dough. I will be back. read more

First time, last time. Ordered pizza online @ 5:13 PM, pickup time 5:48 PM- arrived at 5:50 PM and there was no pizza, supposedly the printer was broken. So for some reason we decided to wait for them to make it. Big mistake. Only one person behind the counter waiting on customers and she kept saying "They were slammed". Hmmm a pizza place on a Friday night slammed, and only one person behind the counter because the other counter person was delivering. Paid $35 for a 12 piece mushroom pie...yes, my fault...got the pizza @ 6:25 PM. Home @ 6:30 PM. Pizza was undercooked, or I hope it was undercooked and not the normal consistency. The crust was like rubber and after finishing cooking it in my oven, it was no better. Lesson learned, expensive lesson. read more

I understand everyone has an off day but almost half our orders were wrong. If they had run out of focaccia for example, I wish they would just have called us so we could have adjusted our order. Not even sure if that's the case or if they were just rushing in the kitchen and just threw everything on ciabatta but either way today was not a good day for Morano's.
