My group meets once a month on the first Saturday, and this time I picked Squeeze In (South Reno) for their great food, fun funky vibe, and plenty of space. We had a group of 10, so I called ahead and used the Yelp waitlist about 30 minutes before arrival. When everyone arrived, the team was ready and seated us without any issues -- and they even handled a larger group of 12 nearby with the same ease. Very impressive for a busy weekend morning. I ordered the Bring Home the Bacon Eggs Benedict with avocado, and it was excellent. My husband had the Jack Johnson Banana Walnut Pancakes, which were fluffy, warm, and delicious. Our server Nat was amazing -- friendly, attentive, and totally on top of everything. She made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We'll definitely be keeping Squeeze In in our rotation. Luke, the manager always provides the best service and I can tell he LOVES what he does ! I gave a 4 today because his waitress never acknowledged me, never saw her smile once, and was basically unfriendly overall. If Luke hadn't been here today, I would have left. I waited for 5 minutes after I walked in, the waitress walked past me 6 times and did not acknowledge me one time! Luke walks up with a great smile and recognizes me immediately, welcomed me in and seated me as soon as he could. Everything was hot and delightfully delicious! If it wasn't for the food and management, I wouldn't come back here, especially if the waitress today was supposed to take care of me. 9/4 This was actually my first time trying this place and its right down the street from my hs. We were a party of 6 greeted immediately and sat down . Dillion was our server and was excellent. We ordered a pitcher of mimosa and our food . Everyone enjoyed their food. I got the Violet's French toast plate. 2 eggs sunny side up bacon was nice and crispy and French toast was nice and fluffy. I love squeeze in!! All the food here is amazing and the servers are awesome! Shout out to Luke and Mallory! They are always so nice and helpful. This has been the go to spot for family brunch and my son is always asking to go. He loves getting the pancake breakfast with sprinkles in the pancake. I have tried that pancake and can verify that is a pro move to get that one. I have never had a bad meal here and the experience has always been great. read more

We came here on a Thursday afternoon with a party of 6. This was a last minute join in for lunch and I am so happy that I said yes. Although if you know me, you know 90% of the time I say yes! I love the inside of this restaurant. There is so much interesting decorations to look at that there is no way possible that you could get bored. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming, full of enthusiasm. We were immediately seated which is always a plus in my books. The waiter was named Dillion who did a good job at taking our orders and remembering who's was who's. The food was amazing along with our mimosa pitcher. We found this incredibly cute place for breakfast called Squeeze It. They had a Bloody Mary called the Hail Mary which was amazing. Go long with this full liter of their signature Bloody Mary mix and a quadruple shot of vodka served with three crispy strips of premium bacon, a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich on thick garlic cheese toast with melted cheddar, three pepperoncinis, a stuffed olive, lemon wedge, and celery stick. The drink was larger than my head and it was delicious. We decided to split a breakfast burrito which was delicious and the country potatoes were extra crispy, just the way that I prefer them. Grabbed some breakfast at Squeeze In and had a nice experience. It was a quiet morning and I was seated right away. I ordered the Manly Morris Meal which comes with eggs, potatoes, toast, biscuits and gravy, and your choice of protein, I chose sausage. The potatoes were probably the best, they were nicely seasoned and crispy. The eggs, toast, and biscuits were about your average diner quality and good. The sausage was lacking a little as it felt like they were warmed on the griddle but not really cooked through. Overall the meal came in at about $20 which is decent value these days given how much food you get. I have to say, this place hit the lottery with its staff though, the service is outstanding and beyond friendly and almost makes you want to come back for that alone. read more

I'm torn here. The wait staff and ambience was very bustling and inviting. The food is really great. The portions are ridiculously large though and what's worse is the cost! There is no reason to serve that much food on a plate or to charge that much for very basic ingredients. Definitely not a daily or weekly spot but once in a blue moon definitely. read more

I met a friend for breakfast this morning and had the best experience. We sat at the patio, which was lovely. It's a bit noisy from the traffic on Virginia, but honestly I didn't even notice it after a while. Tacos are not on the menu, but I asked if I could have the Burrito as Tacos (if that makes any sense) and our Server had no problem accomodating my request. The serving is 3 Tacos, with scrambled eggs, Avocado and a Protein of your choice (although I asked for Black Beans instead). It also came with a side of Sour Cream, Pico and Green or Red Salsa, as well as Spudz, which are their signature Breakfast Potatos. They come out so crunchy, YUM!!! I'm pretty bummed. We were looking for a new breakfast place in south Reno. We ordered pickup here and I got to my car and noticed there was no sour cream in the bag. They charge over a dollar for that so I went back in and got it. Then we drove home and I started to eat my breakfast and realized there was no egg. The breakfast I ordered came with egg so I had to cook one myself. For around $18 a meal, these are things that should be noticed by the staff. Went to this location because Sparks was INCREDIBLY a long wait. When I arrived the app said that the host would notify me when my table was ready. I noticed they skipped our party and started going to parties after us. It wasn't until we confirmed that we had to check-in with the host/hostess. (yelp doesn't have that on the wait list area) Anyway, we were seated right away and were helped almost instantly by Luke. I thought I had seen a ghost when he came around the corner. Lol. He used to work the Sparks location many times. It was nice to get to talk to him a little more. He is such a great server.... Always checking in and making sure we have everything without feeling rushed. We look forward to see him again, someday. The food was AH-MAY-ZING as usual with many options to choose from. This time around I ordered the loaded avocado toast, and I paid the little bit extra to have the eggs added on top. It was SO GOOD! The cucumbers and feta cheese made the toast super refreshing, it was my favorite part! They did not skimp on any toppings. Super delicious. My fiancé had the Epic Breakfast burrito, which is another favorite, at least one of us gets it every time. This time, the burrito was a bit smaller than usual, but he said it was still good. This is also the first time I had the Screwdriver and Bloody Mary. They were both delicious. The Bloody Mary was especially savory and flavorful. You can tell it was homemade.
