First time eating here we came here for brunch as my nephew just turned 21 We had the pumpkin pancakes which were amazing because they were not overly sweet. In fact, they have incredibly fluffy pancakes. Not only did we have a server all the other servers check in on your table, which is a rarity and a treat because it means nobody really waits for anything. I had the southwestern salad with extra chicken. The chicken is bomb. They put a generous amount of avocado on it as well. the ranch was delicious. The burger was excellent and if you like garlic, this is the place for you because the garlic fries were as good as Gordon Biersch back in the day All the omelettes were also well done and not brown or over cooked. I would give this place five stars but unfortunately the champagne was room temperature in the mimosas but the bloody Mary's are not really excellent but well appointed. This was my first visit to this location. We love the NW Reno Squeeze In, and since we found ourselves in south Reno this morning we went to this location. They have a really pretty patio and I love the shopping center it's located in. I had the Hail Mary and Dillon made it perfectly. It had just the right level of spice. The grilled cheese that accompanies it was also delicious. The biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were a little hard and crumbly-not sure what the nw location does differently but they are softer and better. The gravy was really good. I ordered the pancake combo so I could share with my 1 year. We got the chocolate chip pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. The pancakes were light and fluffy and weren't too sweet even with the chocolate chips which was great! The eggs and bacon were also cooked very well and we both really enjoyed the plate. It's a huge portion so we had extras to rake home. My husband got the Spanish Flay omelette which was full of chorizo, peppers, onions and other deliciousness and he loved his as well. His came with a side of potatoes and cheese sauce as well as bottomless toast! We were all very satisfied with our meals just as we always are. This review is not about food, but for the service. We were greeted and seated right away, but that was it. No one came by to greet us at our table, take a drink order, nothing. We waited about 15min, then walked out with again no acknowledgment. The ambience was quiet, not a full restaurant, but with staff standing around. Egg yolk runny, hollandaise sauce not too thick not too gooey but a good consistency and the half avocado on top made my day. And the sweet potatoes on the side were delicious and crispy! My significant other said his hash browns were perfection, perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside and yet still a little soft on the inside. If there was anything I didn't really like it was the kitschy decor which made squeeze in look like the type of place that serves $7 omelettes not $15 ones! But the food I can't fault it's filling and well executed! My favorite locations are on Foothill Rd and Las Brisas Blvd, but the Sparks and Truckee locations are also nice! They have a very wide array of menu options (you can't go wrong with any of the omelettes, seriously, I've had them all..). Plenty of breakfast & lunch choices, and AMAZING cocktails. They pour strong so be careful, but the taste is great! The service at each Squeeze In is always very friendly, fast, and consistent. For whatever reason, the food was perfect...I had Erik's Breakfast Burrito with potatoes and cheese...it was devoured. I had to eat at this location 2x. I was a regular at the sparks location. I was really disappointed in the taste of the mushroom sauce and the potatoes had a weird taste and were greasy. I was sad that my breakfast place was no longer my favorite. I had to meet a friend at the sparks location. I was hesitant but wanted to see if it was my taste buds or if there was a difference between locations. OMG sparks proved it wasn't my taste it had to be the location that made the difference. The food at sparks was as good as I thought. I think the owners need to figure out the issue. I have eaten at the truckee location and mccarren locations and was pleased with the taste of the food. I wont be going back to south meadows location again. I now have a new favorite waitress Allie. My regular servers have moved on. Went this (Saturday) morning to eat with my family. It was very busy but we were still seated promptly. No wait time. Felt very cozy with all the staff wearing pajamas pants. It was nice to be able to sit down and eat like it was Christmas morning at home in our pjs. The food came out quick. Piping hot and delicious. We went there on a Monday (holiday) afternoon but joined the Yelp waitlist (which underestimated the wait time but we were running late so worked out). Pretty packed but food didn't take too long at all! Drinks were good and fairly priced. Food was amazing- it was a party of 4 plus a baby and we all loved our food. First time visiting this location but I was pleased to find the same great menu and food. I have to say the service was lacking a little bit, we only saw our waitress when she took the order and when we got the check. I ran out of coffee very shortly after it was first brought out and not once I had the chance to ask for some but until she brought us the check and then we had to wait for a fresh pot but only found that out after asking for coffee again after she came back to retrieve the check with payment. I wanted to ask for some additional sauce half way through the meal but that didn't happen either. No biggie on the service, may have been a day short staffed or overly busy. It happens. I had the Spanish flay with home potatoes and toast and some coffee. Food was delicious and will definitely return to with this or one of the other locations. My wife had the twice baked scramble and said it was really good. All breakfast comes with either home potatoes or hash browns, go home potatoes all the way!! They are lightly crispy /cooked to perfection, i think probably oven roasted...... every bite of my breakfast had me oohing and ahhhing so you know it was really good!
