It is mind blowing that I have not yet reviewed one of my favorite breakfast spots in Reno! Our most recent visit reminded me how much I love Squeeze In and all the people here. First off - the food is just downright freaking delicious. Some of my favorites - The Racy Tracy Omelette (mushrooms + bacon + avocado = the PERFECT breakfast combo!), Eric's Breakfast Burrito, the Banana Walnut Pancakes (new fave - buttery and banana-y and just so cravable), and of course the benedicts. Everything is so fresh and the portions are HUGE. The prices are so fair because you're either gonna leave completely stuffed or overloaded with to-go boxes. The other thing I really love is that they do pitchers of mimosas here! And you can do a pitcher of any one of their specialty mimosas, like blueberry lemonade or sea breeze. The flavors are all unique and very delicious. One pitcher is definitely plenty for two people and I think you end up getting a free mimosa that way too. So it's a great deal! My daughter loves the hot chocolate here - they load it up with whipped cream and sprinkles, a proper cuppa hot cocoa. This place gets so busy on the weekends, but you can hop on the waitlist through the Yelp app to save yourself a little time. The staff is always hustling but always SO kind and warm. The service is reason alone to visit! Love all the cool memorabilia and signatures on the walls too, it gives you plenty to look at and discover. Squeeze In is a Northern Nevada staple. We arrived a little after 8am on a Tuesday, Cody greeted and seated us immediately upon walking in. He took our drink order and brought them promptly. Same with the food, it came out very quickly. I Ordered the Burrito which was a little pricey ($17). But it was enough food for 2 people. The mimosa menu was creative and cute. The sunrise was the one I ordered it was great. ($10) My husband is a biscuit connoisseur and says they could have been thicker/fluffier and less dry. But overall it was a great experience! The music was good too. read more

The service is ok, might have to ask twice but in general good. OJ is not fresh squeezed. The main reason for 5 stars is the Jack Johnson Banana Walnut Pancakes... The best, just get some! The pancakes have finely chopped walnuts. The sliced banana are cooked just enough to be soft on the outside but still solid. The banana sauce is really good, plenty for the 2 pancakes. I also tried the Huevos Montana Aka Huevos Rancheros (4 Stars). I add ground chorizo, they slipped it in with the black beans, then layer the eggs and rest. Stopped in for saturday brunch at squeeze in. We put our name on the yelp waitlist and was about a 30 min wait for 4. The sunrise mimosa was really refreshing. Our table ordered the chipotle benny, biscuits and gravy meal, racy tracy, and the chicken fried steak. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I walk in for a mobile order and while I'm waiting for a host to come greet me ; a worker approaches a gentleman sitting at the table next to the hostess desk. She says " Next time I need you to sit outside instead of taking up one of our tables." and then storms off immediately. The restaurant had only about 3-4 tables being used with nobody waiting to be seated. The gentleman and I looked at each other with a confused look on our face. She walks back with a bag of food for to go orders and sets it on the table by the front door. She asks the man " You said you've been waiting for 20 minutes. Do you need some coffee?" The man says "No I'm good. " She looks at me and then proceeds to the back of the restaurant. A lot of attitude to the man who was just waiting for his food. I didn't get a Hi, Hello,or have you been helped yet? I love this restaurant and the food is delicious. That was a tough watch though. The service was extremely slow. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet. When I later reviewed my bill I discovered that they charged me extra for ham and extra for cheese. REALLY? Shouldn't ham and cheese be included in a ham & cheese omelet? At least they didn't charge me extra for the eggs. And, the omelet was cold by the time I got it. Our bill, for four people, was $94.60. We all ordered simple breakfasts. There are a whole bunch of doodles on the wall which I find very unique. (I inquired if I could write on the wall as well and they had a pleather of markers for me to choose from. SO COOL!!) My family and I visited this spot while staying in the area to visit our grandparents. It appeared to be a local favorite, and had a cute homey interior, so we had high hopes for this spot. While we were seated quickly, only about half of us enjoyed our meals - my mother found the pancakes stale-tasting, and my loaded (not so) avocado toast was severely lacking avocado, and flavor. Additionally my mother's food took much longer than the rest of ours' did, and without the selected sides (sausage not bacon). I'd have given them a 3-star rating, but they did try to make up for the mistake by offering the side of bacon at no cost, and discounting her meal. The drinks were good, but not delivered with the flair advertised on the drink menu. It was a so-so experience. I think I would give them another opportunity because they tried to make up for where they missed the mark, and there is so much potential with the space, but I think they'd benefit from cutting back and specializing on a few menu options instead of missing the mark on a bunch of options. read more

Driving from Utah to California, we decided to do a brunch stop at Reno. This Squeeze In was close to 80 West, had plenty of parking, with Waitlist less than 10 mins on a Sun morning. They also have comfortably spaced outdoor seating. The wait staff were friendly, offered suggestions, were happy to take in food substitutions, and were kind to our dog. 5 star service in this place. We ordered a veggie & a vegan burrito, along with some pancakes. Food arrived fast. They happily served us a generous portion of steamed chicken for our dog & didn't overcharge us for it. As soon as you walk in the look and feel is vibe soooo many things to look at from writings on the wall to bikes hanging from the ceiling. The food was amazing fyi any omelette on the menu can be made into a burrito or a scramble. I ordered the hangover helper as a scramble with potatoes I had to send the potatoes back and get the hashbrowns because I didn't like the potatoes too burnt and my bf got the late night taco as a scramble with potatoes.
