True disappointment. Called to put my name in and was directed to the wrong app to hold my place in line. Got there and there was only a 5 min. wait but the host said oh ya.. it's the wrong app oh well.. "were learning together." Then we sat and it took 10 min to get acknowledged for a drink order and another 8 to get a waiter to take our order with no acknowledgement to the long wait or lack of service. Gave few low carb options for the sides which the meal didn't actually come with at all.. omelet was not at all what it was described to be and very dry. Waiter took another 15ish min to come by with drink refills and finally I had to go up to him 10 min after taking our plates for the bill. He told me he was just "so focused on another table." Pretty good place it has a great selection of breakfast also has great drinks options we were right away greeted by the host when walking in she informed us about the wait time which was shorter then estimated our waitress was very friendly and attentive we ordered a mimosa pitcher that came fast and was pretty good, a chicken fried steak that was DELICIOUS and cooked to perfection and here's the whammy we ordered a mushroom and bacon omelet it was pretty tasty until I bit into a hard piece of cardboard honest mistake no worries our server was quick to get us a new plate and comp it off new plate was delicious and cardboard free over all we enjoyed the meal and atmosphere will definitely be back when we visit Nevada again in September:) read more

How has no one mentioned how filthy this place is ?! The flatware had to be exchanged twice. The counters, cabinets , tables, bathroom all need to be wiped down! Everything is grimy and sticky. The stack of high chairs in the hallway near the bathroom are horrible even considering their typical use. This place is just grungy and not clean. The seats of chairs are in desperate need of replacement. Our stack of Jack Johnson pancakes was good . But the food is underwhelming; hash browns were burnt on the outside and completely dry inside. Maybe not enough oil or the pan was too hot. Their "spuds" were super hard and crunchy. Pretty hard to mess up breakfast potatoes but they did on two counts. My over medium eggs were over easy. When we visit family in Reno this place is one of three places that we like to frequent for brunch. Every visit we add another sign to their wall to basically show that we've been there. They have a rewards program and consistently send you coupons for $ off and complimentary champagne for your special events like anniversary and birthdays. The menu is just like many of the other brunch places with benedicts, omelets, and things a like. The food is great! The portions are huge! I came in to eat a breakfast here, in a dark mood (my kitty just passed the night before and I hadn't really eaten in two days because of the depression). I was trying to force myself to eat a substantial meal - nutshell, I didn't want to like the place and was ready to find fault. Not only did this Squeeze location not have any major faults that stuck out like a sore thumb, my breakfast was truly delicious and filling! The décor of the restaurant is arty and hipster, it reminded me of small hipster restaurants in Portland. It had arty décor tucked away in every corner of the small restaurant and even had bikes and Knick-knacks hanging from the ceiling and walls. It gave off a fun, cheerful, and colorful vibe. I also appreciated the fact that there menu clearly marks vegetarian dishes. The hostess and my waitress where very polite and efficient. The service was prompt and my food came out quickly. I ordered the Huevos Montana, it was a hardy breakfast that came with a Huevos Ranchero, roasted potatoes and avocado slice, and a tortilla of my choice. Everything was made with very high quality ingredients and was cooked perfectly. Their potatoes are to die for! Not too salty, cube fried tasty morsels of goodness! The salsa wasn't too spicy, but had a rich flavor profile. I would definitely order this dish again! Lastly, I had a cup of orange juice, their portion size was generous and the juice tasted freshly squeezed. My only complaint is that it is sort of pricey, but considering the high quality of the ingredients and the fact that this was a breakfast place I really enjoyed, I didn't feel like it was overly pricey. ...and I wish that they had creamer on the table (I dislike having to ask for necessities). Since they have the creamer fresh in the re frig I understand having creamer out for every table might not be feasible and would be wasteful, so maybe when someone orders coffee they should ask if we want creamer (so we don't have to)? This is one of my favorite go to breakfast places! They get pretty busy on the weekends, but you can get coffee, mimosas, and the best bloody Mary's while you wait. This makes the wait bearable in my opinion! I love their scrambles and the stuffed French toast with strawberries! Prob not the healthiest but it sure is amazing. The scrambles are a healthier option for sure. I knocked them down one star because they lacked pancakes and waffles which are my favorite. I absolutely love eating at this Squeeze In, but I don't get a chance very often. It's a bit pricey, but SO worth if from time to time. I started my day out this morning with a stop here and thoroughly enjoyed The Biggest Little Omelet for the first time. This is now my favorite. The omelet includes a lot of nice-sized shrimp sauteed in butter as well as zucchini, mushrooms, avocado, and plenty of gooey Monterrey cheese. This is served with spuds (I think you can choose something else, but why? These are really tasty) and toast (or 2 corn tortillas if you want or need this to be a gluten free breakfast), and your choice of sauce (2 of the 3 sauces are gluten free: Tomato Basil or cheese sauce. I like them both, but the Tomato Basil is AMAZING and I highly recommend that one). Colleen did a wonderful job serving me today and I love the atmosphere there in the morning. Squeeze has been one of our favorite breakfast spots for years. Today, when we arrive we learned they changed their menu last week. It seemed like they cut at least half of the items off their menu, including all our favorites. Not to mention they raided their prices. Our bill for two of us for breakfast (after tip) was $47 and I only had water and my husband had coffee. The service was still great and very attentive. I'm giving them only one star solely based on the drastic menu option reductions and now the new prices. We probably won't be visiting again. So sad. read more

This place has a cult following and I'm worried about my safety not giving 5 stars, but for me it's just meh. I love that it's localish, has a hippy vibe, and unique style. Lunch today was a bit slow considering how empty the place was. Our group opted for a salad for one, and 2 others split the omelette special which was a take on pizza. The omelette was really tasty after wondering how exactly pepperoni and eggs would work together. For the record, it does. Omelette was cooked well with generous filling. The home fries were kinda meh. A bit greasy and nothing to write home about, but also a generous portion though neither of us cared to finish them. Cesar salad was very large, well dressed, and filling. It was the last to arrive which was strange since it didn't have any protein added. We started on the omelette while he waited for his to arrive. Service was friendly and the waitress was definitely warm. Interestingly enough they serve a side of cheddar sauce for I'm assuming the potatoes. Kinda bland, but who can say no to cheese?! The Squeeze Inn is a local go to breakfast and lunch spot here in the reno and sparks area. They have now branched out and are now in Las Vegas and the bay area. We went on a Sunday, always a line, but it moves fast. I ordered the junior hic. All I wanted was a poached egg, toast, two pieces of bacon and potatoes. This breakfast was so filling, the staff was constantly filling my water and coffee cup. When you enter the Squeeze Inn, you are greeted like family. The servers always are so friendly and have smiles on there faces. They genuinely look like they are having fun. The food here is really good. You might see things on the menu you have heard off, but that is the fun of trying new things. Like a old friend of mine said, To boldly go and taste everything on the planet. I am picky about my pancakes. I know a good pancake when I first cut into it. A good pancake doesn't crumble. A good pancake has a bit of a chew to it, kinda like a nice slice of bread. It takes a little extra work when you make a pancake properly. The Squeeze Inn makes the best pancakes that I have had since the last 45 years that I have lived in Reno. My bacon was crisp, my over easy eggs were perfect. I wish that I could have them make me breakfast every day. read more

I am beyond disgusted regarding how our situation and other situations were handled by the manager or head waiter, no idea what his role is at this establishment. First off, I don't find it difficult to understand how bigger parties take the bigger tables. For instance, a party of 6 or 8 takes the largest table, the party of 4 takes the table where 4 chairs are attached and a party of 2 takes the table with 2 chairs. Not rocket science but apparently it is. We were waiting for over 30 minutes and a party of 4 went to the largest table pushing our party of 6 back another possible 20 minutes when a table for 4 was readily available. When I approached this male, he was condescending and passive aggressive stating "you will be seated when you will be seated". Make it make sense. Not only are you making the restaurant lose money, you are punishing the waiters who rely on tips that they won't get from our large party. But wait, there's more...while we were waiting, they called out for 2 different parties that were not inside and instead of walking outside where people were waiting, he deleted the 2 parties off their waitlist only for them to return and share their frustration and discontentment that they have been waiting for an hour and now lost there spot because they couldn't walk 5 feet outside. That is completely unacceptable. If you don't want to focus on customer service and make appropriate choices for this local business, then don't work there. We will no longer be supporting you and neither will the other 2 parties who also left. read more
