Angel chicken wings are my favorite Thai appetizer but they're also quite hard to find. I was this excited to see that Sriracha Thai Restaurant in Carson had this an offering. They have 2 pieces for $11.99. I placed an order via phone and my order was ready within 20 minutes. This place even sent me two text messages to remind me when my order was ready. The Angel wings was stuffed with ground chicken, onions, glass noodles, mushrooms and onions and was accompanied with a sweet and sour sauce. I loved the overall look of the Angel Wings when I opened my to go container. They looked perfectly crisp and golden brown. However taste wise it was a bit more hard than I liked and not as crisp. It seemed liked they may have over fried it a bit and the chicken wing itself was a tad dry. As mentioned; Angel wings are a bit hard to find on Thai menus nowadays. I am sure stuffing a wing; takes a lot of prep and though I liked the ingredients in they put in this chicken; I thought overall the Angel Wing was just ok. SPICY. Not that that's a bad thing but even our yellow combo curry that doesn't list a choice for level of heat was spicy. You would assume it's a mild dish. I was okay with it but it was a bit much for my wife which was a bummer because today was Mother's Day. My kids ordered 2 different Pad Thai dishes and they also found level 1 to be a bit too hot. The taste was excellent but maybe turn down the heat on level 1. One total disappointment was the Green Pepper Beef. Overcooked and chewy like jerky. EPIC FAIL. Rangoons were okay but a bit limp. Maybe that's Door Dash's fault. I did like the chicken egg rolls. If you just want just a touch of heat, you may want to mention that to them or do what I do and order Thai Iced Tea to cool it down some. Or drink milk...BORING. read more

I order take out for the family and Sriracha Thai did not disappoint! I was picking up my food around 12pm on a Monday and the restaurant was packed! The Drunken Noodles and Prik King were outstanding; I will definitely be returning just to order those two dishes again. The green curry was also very good but I like my curry sauce I bit thicker. read more

Their lunch times ends at 2:45pm then closes until 3:30pm. If you want to try some of their dishes, come at 11-2:45p. The highest review/rating was Pad Thai, so I order w/ crispy pork for $16 ($15.42 w/ tax). Unlike other Thai restaurants, it was covered/soak with sauce that I barely saw the rice noodles. After awhile, the fish sauce in the sauce became overwhelming. The crispy pork had VERY little meat (non-existent) and pieces found were VERY thin (1/16 in) and overcooked chewy skin than meat. I should have returned it for another type of meat. I've had better pad Thai in Vegas and Redondo Beach. Including eating in various levels of restaurants and street vendors in Thailand to enjoy & know good flavoring on any dish. Another customer ordered shrimp pad Thai (had to request more green onions), but didn't finish 1/3 nor take it home. During my visit, most of the customers order to go and were mainly non-Asians (African American, Hispanic) except Filipino. Like most Thai restaurants, various type of Chili sauces were available to increase spice levels. Considering business response, my hesitation for a remake was warranted. "Authentic" Pad Thai should show "bean sprouts/meat" and egg without guessing. Comparing the $10 pho photo (from Saigon Dish), it's clear there is more bean sprouts and meat given to their dish. read more

Note: this a review on their chicken Pad Thai and Thai tea, given to me as part of my company's monthly lunch. I had told my boss to let them know about my shellfish allergy. I am aware that almost the majority of Thai food comes with shellfish or is made with a type of fish, so I really wouldn't blame them if i had issues eating the food (cross contamination). I still wanted to try it. I haven't had real authentic Pad Thai since i discovered my shellfish allergy in 2019. I took a bite of the Pad Thai and discovered not only was it safe to eat, oh my god it was amazing. I kind of wish it had more peanuts but other than that, the egg, the chicken were cooked perfectly. The chicken was marinated really well, it wasn't spicy. It was perfect and I almost cried because I never thought I'd eat real pad thai again. The Thai tea was perfect. One of the BEST hole in the wall Thai food around socal in my opinion! This place is my go to Thai food. The inside is very small so I normally order take out. But I have dined in before and staff is very friendly and wait time for food is very short! I ordered To go yesterday for dinner, and food was warm and hot and they give descent portion size for each meal. Food was very delicious and you can just taste the authenticity of the dishes! My favorite go to is their pad see ew, green curry and the cream cheese wontons. Sriracha Thai is probably my new favorite place. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and crab and shrimp fried rice (due to other reviews) with a Thai tea. The service is extremely friendly and fast! My food came out shortly after my tea, even though there were several phone orders coming in. You can tell how fresh everything is. The pad Thai was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The crab and shrimp fried rice was amazing with real crab cooked with the egg and placed over top the rice. I will definitely come back to try other dishes as the food other patrons were being served looked just as good as my order. read more

We were in the Carson area and ready for some lunch a few weekends back and decided on ordering from this establishment. All I wanted was Pad Thai and they had it! So that's what I got! With beef! Eggs, bean sprouts and peanuts adorned my dish and I got the level 1 (mild) spiciness. Online it said it would take an hour but I got a text not even 15 mins later saying our food was ready. Right now they have a table set up outside where someone will help you with your order, you can pay for your food, and where you pick your food up. I really liked the idea of not having to go inside the place. There's a small parking lot in front of the restaurant, but there's also street parking if you need it. We went to a park nearby where we had a small picnic. The food was piping hot! But the savory flavor was what I wanted - along with a nice kick of spice (even though its mild!). My husband got the Level 2 medium spiciness and said next time he'd get mild - It was pretty spicy. If we're ever in the area again around mealtime, I'd get this again. read more

I ordered on line. If you order for pick up during your lunch break, order at least 30 minutes before pick up. They are a small restaurant. As in only 3 tables or so in the restaurant. Which most likely means they don't have a lot of workers in the back. I got the Tom Kha soup and thai tea. The Tom Kha soup was ok. I like the chicken they used. It's sliced thinly, just the way I like it. However it was a little too sweet for my liking. The Thai tea was also incredibly sweet and a lot more of the cream than the tea in ratio. Had pad se ew with crispy pork belly for the first time today Wwow so good. I have never like much of vegetable but lately try to stay healthy so their stir fried mix vegetable chop and chinessse broccoli with crispy pork belly are so good. I think i can eat thai chicken wing every day. Squid salad and lobster fried rice level 2 are so good too. Tried level 4 before but can't handle it. When i were there, they have a game that if press bottom like a time stopper and get number stop at 5 seconds get free drink. Omg, my first time trying this spot and let me tell you this; not my last. Super affordable and good to my surprise! I regret not trying this place earlier. Here's the shocker!!! Good service! Most foodies know that Asian establishments aren't known for good service, and I can say that because I am Asian. I had the duck fried rice with a salad, eggroll, and Thai tea. A duck entree for $12!!!!???? That is insane! Cute and cozy small restaurant. Seats only about 8 people here. Portions are big, prices are so affordable, tastes good, and good service. This place is now my go to for chicken wing their wings have real garlic, real Thai chili, and sweet sauce a PERFECT combination of sweet and spicy. You can control your spice level until your heart desires. There wings have a distinctive taste which you'll enjoy. I still have to explore their menu because haven't tried their other menu yet just their wings even the place is small it's still ALWAYS busy and also the phone kept on ringing for phone orders.
