I actually had a better impression of Stacks before this last visit. I haven't been there for quite a long time. So maybe I just mistakenly remember it being better than it was. Or maybe there's just better competition now. We decided to go due to a Groupon. We were 2 adults and 2 kids. The kids wanted to order from the kids menu naturally but unfortunately the server said the Groupon only applies if we get 4 entrees and it couldn't be from the kids menu. Kinda a let down tbh. One of my kids wanted strawberries on his pancakes. The only way to do that was to get the "white chocolate and strawberries pancakes" and leave out the white chocolate. I don't know, but $14 for two pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream sounds pretty steep to me. The pancakes tasted good. $14 good? Nah. For myself I got the veggie crepe. It was ok. It was pretty bland. The avocados were pretty brown. The rest was fine. The cup of fruit was pretty laughable. It came in a container you would use for a side of sauce. It was literally 2 grapes, half a strawberry, 4 bites of melon and 1 bite of pineapple. Maybe if the environment and service was outstanding like Sweet Maple or GIWA I could understand the price. But it was overall a let down.

Holy... these portions were absolutely massive. We ended up having to take most of it to-go because there was just no way we could finish everything at the table. If you come hungry, this is definitely the place for you. Stacks has become one of my go-to spots, especially before heading over to the farmer's market and it's kind of part of the routine at this point. They offer all the classic breakfast staples you'd expect, from fluffy pancakes to hearty egg plates, and everything feels comforting and satisfying. It's the kind of place where you know you'll leave full for DAYYS. maybe even with leftovers, and already thinking about what you want to try next time.

Friday walked in around 1:30pm, got seated right away. And inside decorations follow the traditional American breakfast setup, it looks a little worn but still acceptable clean . It also offers outside seating where you can enjoy the downtown street people watching or bring your pet to enjoy the time with you. For this trip, I really enjoyed my order -- breakfast burritos, generous cheese and fresh vegetables, the only thing can be improved is the potato, needs some taste bud wake-up elements. Other than that, my kids really enjoyed the mini mouse pancake, the strawberry was fresh and pancake with appropriately buttered. And my 10 years old finished two orders of it . Nice location for weekend brunch .

My, my, my, what a great breakfast spot! Reservation for (6) with (3) dogs, outside table, perfect weather and impeccable service. I got the chicken fried steak and mixed berry waffle, delicious! Others ordered Mexican omelet, eggs and bacon, eggs Benedict, pancakes with side of potatoes, lots of food, everyone was very happy. They were very attentive with refills and made sure we were happy.

This was my first time coming to Stacks. The server was really nice and another employee who I believe was the manager on duty was also friendly and checked in to see if everything was good. I ordered something on the lunch menu. It was okay however I do plan to return and try their breakfast menu sometime since this place for sure if popular for breakfast. I do recommend this place.

Came here for breakfast with two others on a rainy Sunday morning and we didn't have to wait long before being seated. We got there around 9 AM and I prefer savory food over sweet so I opened for the South of the Border House Special because I thought it was scrambled eggs that I would be able to fold into my own tortilla, but sadly that was not the case. The plate arrived with the tortillas already wrapped with sour cream, guac, and the red sauce on it which made it impossible to pick up so I had to eat a burrito with a knife and fork. The way the potatoes were cut on the plate was also very interesting where it was a bit too big because the potatoes weren't crispy. ~~Parking: There's street parking available, but it's also right across the street from a parking structure. ~~Service: Okay. Seemed like they were pushing people to get the $4 coffee that we didn't want. ~~Return: Prossibly, for something sweet.

The food is amazing and super filling. It looks and tastes delicious. Classic, reliable American breakfast. The coffee does only come hot and there are no non-dairy options on the menu. It isn't too busy, even on a weekend morning and there is indoor and outdoor seating. The waiters are friendly and attentive, our food came out pretty fast. The diner is adorable, the indoor ambience is cute and clean.

This place was disappointing. The breakfast offerings were basic and even then didn't meet expectations. I had the corned beef hash with sourdough insted of a bagel. The toast was dry, the "butter" was ... I actually don't know what it was, and the eggs were actually the best part over easy. We also had chicken and waffles which should have been labeled "Theme Partk chicken strips and waffle" (as that's exactly what it resembles. It was 100% out of a premade bag and deep fried. Overall, super disappointing at about $20 a plate. Do yourself a favor and walk down to Papa's place down the road for breakfast. read more

Being in lock down during covid is hard for a lot of people so of course it's extremely lovely to have a genuinely good human interaction. Met a friends here for brunch and Bryant was an AH-MAZING server! We came for the food and most defiantly stayed for the customer service! The chicken and waffles is yummy and the mimosas are not on the menu but also super bomb! Try it with pomegranate juice! read more

I cannot believe that I have not written a review of this restaurant. We have been eating at this restaurant for years and have had, maybe, two meals that were less than very good. My favorite is Lumberjack Pancakes. I order only one or a short stack because they are large and filling. The pancakes are so good that you can almost eat them dry; however, they are served with what I think is a blueberry compote that I like to spread on the pancakes. I also like their Breakfast Sandwich, Corned Beef Hash, and South Of The Border menu items. My wife's favorites are Bacon Waffle and Mexican Frittata. The serving sizes are on the larger size which means that I get to help my wife with her meals. We will remain regulars at Stacks in Campbell CA as long as we can. read more

Wow what an amazing spot! Trying to find places that offer gluten-free options that aren't bird food is really hard. Stacks hits the nail on the head when it comes to gluten-free options (especially for kids) and providing lots of other options for others who aren't gluten sensitive. Our family stopped in on a Friday morning expecting a wait but thankfully we didn't have to wait and our server greeted us with seconds of being sat. Awesome service, awesome staff and awesome food. Huge shout out to our server Miriam who went over and beyond taking care of us. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and if she didn't know the answer she found an answer instead of BSing. Highly HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

Unfortunately the Morgan Hill restaurant is not available on yelp yet, this is directed towards them! Our server Jeremy was amazing he made our 3 year old granddaughter feel very special and his attentiveness was awesome. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Very cool how they have pictures all around of Morgan Hill all around. We are very excited about going back and enjoying another great meal! read more

Honestly this place... I've had bad experience in the past, but constantly seeing people lining up at Stacks made me give them another shot, and oh baby what a waste of a perfect morning. The service is so incredibly slow, took them 20 min to take our order, drinks arrived in 15, and the food showed up in a total of 40 min. The fun part was only my partner's food arrived, so I had to watch him eat while my stomach was growling. With all that wait, food came lukewarm (the traditional breakfast sandwich) and cold (the blueberry pancakes). The eggs in the sandwich tasted rubbery and we were not once asked if everything was ok or if we need anything else. Waited another 20 for the bill. Aint coming here ever again. read more

I should have ordered the breakfast items. Blackened Chicken Sandwich was okay, soggy fries were gross. Side salads, geeze what the heck did I pay for?? I have heard good things about this place but based off my food I'm not impressed. I don't think they don't check there food before sending it out. Hopefully this was just a one time thing. The owner should check the food that goes out before it's sent out.. just saying read more

Extensive menu, good service, bustling environment. I liked that each table ordering coffee gets their own carafe to keep their mugs topped up. The breakfast dish I ordered-scrambled egg & veggie tacos with hash browns-was a let down. Undercooked hash browns (no color on the potatoes at all) and bland tacos on packaged, unheated corn tortillas. That said, there were so many good looking options on the menu that I would come back and try something else. read more

Weekend morning breakfast with good friends on the sidewalk cafe. Outstanding service, amazing menu, many options for even the pickiest palate. Highly recommended. The corned beef hash is some of the best I have ever eaten, not to mention the heavenly blueberry pancake shared by the group. (Pancakes are large and delicious!) Sure to return. read more

Nice brunch place near downtown Campbell. We ordered the freshy squeezed orange, strawberry Nutella banana toast and California spicey veggie omlette. The portions were huge and they all tasted good. There was no jam or spread present on the tables in patio where we sat. And we couldn't get hold of a waiter to ask one, even though there weren't many customers when we were present. Service can be made better. Overall, I wouldn't mind going back here for brunch when I am in the area. read more

4.5 STARS. We were hesitant to go based on past experience with wait times. Despite it being 930am on a Saturday morning and 95% of the tables sat, we got a table immediately. We were sat in a semi isolated two seater in the middle of the kitchen window. Some might be disturbed by this location, but it was like being sat in a Carthy Circle VIP section. Every moment we were wow'ed by all the different colorful and hearty portioned sized dishes. The other impressive aspect was how busy they were but the service and kitchen seamed super streamlined and on top of it all. I have history in restaurants and I know things can go awry. Not here. The server was very pleasant and recommended some amazing items. I am all about pancakes and butter pecan syrup. The waffle is never an ideal choice. Let me tell you, the banana pecan waffle was ridic. It didn't need syrup but even the basic non butter pecan syrup was solid and gave this a great kick in flavor. Despite my protest of growing up in San Jose and always thinking places like this were just hyped up and just a part of "the scene", this place is legit. I just would prefer the waffle a little toasty/crispy which would have made this 5 stars+. read more

I tried the Niman Ranch Burger and all meat omelette . The Niman burger came with fruit, salad, and shoe string fries. The burger could use some kind of special sauce. It was pretty basic and the bun was greasy and not toasted. The fruit and salad was not fresh and came with an odd flavored dressing. The omelette was better, but nothing memorable. The omelet portion was gigantic! The prices seemed higher than other similar establishments. The restaurant was packed on a Friday afternoon. I waited about 45 minutes to be seated. There is an announcement system they use to notify people when they have seats. They have a coloring page and crayons for the little one. Service was friendly, quick,and prompt. read more

This restaurant is located in downtown Campbell. There's a parking garage close to the restaurant and some parking on the street. We arrived around 9:30 on a Sunday morning so there was a short wait. There is a lot of seating outside and some indoors. Our drinks came quickly and the server came to take our order soon afterwards. The menu is very extensive and lunch items can be served for breakfast. I ordered the crab crepe with potatoes and an English muffin. The potatoes had a good flavor and complimented the crepe. The crepe had a nice amount of crab and the sauce was flavorful. read more

Stacks is a well known place for many of their great breakfast and lunch! We visited here and the wait wasnt so bad considering it is a busy place during Octoberfest. It is best to hang out near during your wait time, otherwise your name might be missed after the hostesses calls. We got seated on time. We already know what we wanted to order so orders was placed with our server who didnt really seemed so energetic to be there. The food here is great especially the omelettes and sandwiches. I ordered the Crab Melt but ended up getting the Tuna Melt which was my second choice. It comes with two sides which we substituted fries instead of salad. The reason for my 3 stars is because we found a hair in our sandwich. Did not complain because we felt like it was a waste of time considering how much out server came to check up on us(Only once). We also ordered the Nutella Latte and Tropical Smoothie but no water or straws were given. Not sure if you need to request but all other tables had glasses of water. Lastly, I ordered a fanta soda and the check. Our server decided to bring the check first and charge the soda on that notifying us afterwards that the syrup for the soda needed to be replaced. Sad to say this was a disappointment yet I still tipped her 15%. Food here is good n nice to come during brunch but would I come back again? Probably not. read more

Traditional brunch spot right in Downtown Campbell! We got there around 9:30 AM and were sat immediately. They were offering both outside and inside dining, but we were more comfortable with outside and wanted to enjoy the nice weather. Tables were distanced well! The server greeted us immediately and offered mimosas which we were happy to take her up on! The menu was huge and I'm sure has something for everyone! Lots of traditional, diner type food, as well as benedicts and other new brunch favorites. We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, Blueberry Pancakes and side of Biscuits and Gravy. All the food was hot a delicious! Breading could've been a little better on the Chicken Fried Steak, seems like it may have come from frozen. But it all still had that good, comfort food feel! Prices were reasonable for the portion size! As it got busier, service was harder to track down, but all in all, it was a great breakfast! read more

Visited Stacks for Sunday brunch on a nice Sunday, had a pleasant experience. The place is open for outdoor dine-in and they are taking all measure to make sure it is clean and staff wearing mask. We had nice experience trying few dishes. Being vegetarian we had limited choices and we ended up trying berry pan cakes which accompanied with maple syrup, hash browns and vegetarian burrito which had some hash brown and small fruit bowl on the side. Cappuccino was also good. All in all a good experience and it's right in Campbell downtown conveniently located and ample of parking. read more

Ok, I have to admit. After coming from Hawaii, I was looking for macadamia pancakes. I love breakfast pancakes BUT this is not what I expected. It was my birthday that day and had to give this place a try. This is an ok breakfast joint. They have all the expected omelette, waffles, pancakes and Benedict's. They also serve lunch and dinner plates. Their dining room is pretty big but not for large groups. Service was very good though and very attentive. I got their seafood Benedict which was ok but needed salt. They did have cheese but not enough flavor to the crab and Baby shrimps in it. Also, it was definitely not fresh but from a can. Hash browns were ok. It would have been better with potatoes wedges or something. My husband got their Skillet with hash brown and onions and side of bagel. It was pretty small portion for him but it was ok and he didn't particularly like the hash browns. Even the bagel was kinda hard. He didn't even eat it. I did like the hazelnut latte and coffee. The disappointment was in the banana macadamia nut pancakes! It was pretty expensive for three large pancakes that was kinda dry and looked burnt. It had enough macadamia nuts and bananas but not enough flavor. I had to put a lot of maple sauce to drench it. This upsets me. The pancakes have to taste good without the syrup for me to know it's really good! It was just missing something or sauce over it?! Everything was ok but I would only rate this place as 2.5 stars. I've never been a huge fan of Stacks, food is good but not anything special, very average. I recently got the triple berry belgian waffle here for the first time and it was the best thing I have gotten here so far! It is very traditional breakfast food, good portions. It is fairly pricey for the quality of the food, I would rather spend that much and get something a little more unique. My mom loves the pancakes here so I do come every once in a while, but would not pick this as a top choice to get breakfast. Staff is always nice and service is quick. There's usually a long wait on weekends (before covid) so get here early. read more

So much food , tasty breakfast. I'm giving it 4 stars because the host is not all that friendly when entering the establishment. It's so rush rush, not an authentic greeting. The 2 orders of classic American food were dropped by as ordered. That's great because they gave us condiments and plastic cutlery sets for each meal, yeah! Side salad fruits and sweet fries also. I had the triple berry waffle; for me was pretty big, came with sweet whipped cream and lots of fruits to top. Syrup was standard but very maple-y. So good. The waffles were a little soggy, so that's I dock off 1 star form that. They were very golden and a bit doughy and bread- so good with a balance of whipped cream and maple sugar syrup and sweet tart berry-ness! Alright! As for the honey dijon chicken sandwich that order was for someone else, didn't get any feedback on that but I imagine that dish was very tasty too! Come early because seating is limited. But it's worth the wait. Very attractive and delicious food. My friends and I visited there last week and one of us never heard of Stacks. I could tell she was impressed with her order because her eyes popped when they brought out that three berry waffle! I ordered one too and was happy and satisfied all day. Our other friend wished she had ordered one herself. Too bad, maybe next time buddy because we will definitely return! read more

I've been a Stacks customer for almost the whole 33 years I've lived in Campbell and west San Jose. I used to frequent the one in Menlo Park for lunch. My favorite entree is the short stack of the Lumberjack Pancakes. My daughters and I enjoyed eating at one of the outdoor tables. I suggest that teenage girls and women share a breakfast entree, as most are too large for a single human female. read more

Service is solid, the folks are friendly and they want your business. The Ambiance is average, typical layout. The Food is not good, and comes in one of two conditions: Too expensive for the portion size or Adequately portioned with poor quality. This is supposed to be a pancake house, and the pancakes are sub-bisquick. They give you four table spoons of hashed browns. You leave feeling hungry and disappointed in the foods taste. read more

Came here with a group of gals to make bridal shower plans over breakfast and was put on the waitlist on the particularly busy morning, waited about 20-30 minutes before being seated in a booth. Ordered a short stack of pancakes and figured portion sizes would be large as with most breakfast/brunch spots and we would share amongst ourselves if we ordered different things. The pancakes were large for a short stack, but nothing particularly special about them. They weren't fluffy and tasted typical. Tried a bit of country fried steak, sausage and other items the other girls ordered and it was okay. Service is really slow here and we had to flag down the waiters to see when our food would come, or to bring us straws, it was about another 15-20 min for food to come out and not all of the food came out together. Definitely not a place if you're looking for quick brunch with no plans later in the day. Overpriced for what it is, slow service with just okay breakfast food. It can be difficult to find parking, since there's only street parking available and the line for breakfast/brunch goes out the door. read more

On Monday morning 4/22/24 I visited Stacks and ordered the chicken fried steak with over easy eggs and sourdough toast. However, to my disappointment, the supposed sourdough tasted more like plain white bread. Additionally, the eggs were overcooked and the chicken fried steak was incredibly tough, resembling shoe leather. When I brought this up to our waiter, an East Indian gentleman, he dismissively replied with "too bad." I paid my bill and left, vowing to never return to this disgusting place with even worse service. read more

At first glance, stacks is a very cozy American styled diner. I came with my friends for a brunch gathering, and the wait was around 20 minutes for a Sunday morning. Overall, the service was very nice, and the waitress kept checking up on us, but the food took a while to serve (another 20 minute wait). We ordered the Nutella French Toast, Huevos Rancheros, and the Apple Sausage Omellete along with a couple of blueberry wheat pancakes. I highly recommend all of these items, especially their blueberry wheat pancakes. The Nutella toast was very fluffy, and the wheat germ pancakes had a layer of crusting on top (which was different from other pancake spots). Overall, we ended up spending ~$25 per person. Our server was friendly and that's the only good part of our visit today. We really wanted to give this place a try but overall had a subpar experience and actually got home with stomach aches. I will say people seem to like this place so maybe there are popular items on the menu that they're known for? -- -- -- The strawberry Nutella crepe tasted like old strawberries that had been sitting out and the crepe itself tasted like the type you buy pre made from the grocery store. Not one warm bite at all. Two fist-sized mounds of whipped cream, far too much for my preference. 1/10 The carnitas skillet was dry and tasted like microwaved leftovers from the night before. BF got the ribeye with morels, which was perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. I had the burger, which was more exciting than it sounds, dressed with a wild combo of veggies, cheese and bacon while still managing to be harmonious and fresh tasting. Side of fries were crisp and tasty, though not as perfectly hot as I would ideally wish. Because the burger was late coming out, or server (Bernardo I think?) comped us an amazing little dish of vanilla soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, along with the butterscotch pudding that we ordered. The pudding didn't have the strong butterscotch flavor that I hoped for, but the vanilla ice cream stole the dessert show. OCK isn't a place I can afford often, but I still really like it. I appreciate the creativity of the dishes, the quality ingredients, and the bar. And the old-school shopping center vibe of the Pruneyard is low key festive and garden-like. The interior of the restaurant is kind of standard-industrial modern, but nicely so. Oh, and their glassware is super nice.

Our server Katherine N was outright hostile and messed up our order on top of having a really rude and unprofessional attitude. Bummer. This used to be the best dining in Pruneyard but its sister restaurant Be.steak.a, as well as Luna and Marafuku Ramen make OCK's bib gourmand look more than undeserved. The rest of the wait staff is lovely, and we look forward to some improvements in the menu intentionality and execution as well as said outlier staff member, as this restaurant has been a favorite in our family for over five years.

I read great reviews about this place, specifically the steak, so took the gamble and booked reservations. It is a Michelin recognized restaurant so had high expectations and wow were they exceeded ! We were running late and so gave a call to see if we can still be accommodated which was no issue at all or rush. Upon arrival we were greeted with a happy birthday and welcomed with a delicious, homey, & warm chicken broth to start our visit. Hostess then guided us to our table and on the walk you see the candy table and the beautiful open kitchen. Ambience is fine dining meets modern day with beautiful shades of blue with just enough dim lighting to make it intimate for your table. Volume decent enough to have conversation. When we sat there was already a birthday card and my bf was very happy and excited. It included a bday card with staff signatures and a $2 bill - it was so cute! Our server was Aaron who was outstanding. He had great suggestions without being pushy and was very honest on recommendations. He listened to our requests and guided us with a delicious meal based on our preferences. We also were not rushed during the whole dining experience - the timing between getting orders and checking in was perfect. We had enough time to finish each meal without scarfing ourselves or crowding our table with other food. & there was never a wait for service. This we really appreciated and found unique to our dining experience. Staff also were quick to provide refills. To the food ! We were given complimentary vegetable crudite - seasonal fresh cooled veggies and a flavor bomb of a dip ! Cream cheese, white miso, garlic, & other stuff. Who would've thought simple veggies can be yummy. Next our drinks came in and we had time to sip and look at the menu. Delicious schramsberg wine which is now my fave and apparently can get bottomless during their brunch buffett ! We ordered the trio of bread, all of which were delicious, but wow the rolls ! Soft, warm & fluffy. Then got the ravioli verde, ribeye, & pork fried rice. Originally wasn't going to get the fried rice but Aaron recommended it and I am so glad he did. I could've just ate that for my meal and been satisfied. It was savory, crispy & very flavorful. Italian American meets Asian flavors without being overwhelming. The ribeye medium rare cooked to perfection and perfectly paired with the "funky onions" & demi. We had everything on the side. Steak was a good quality and tasty steak, but with the onions and demi that's where it shined and separated itself from other high quality steaks. It was delicious with the rice. Ravioli was tasty as a pre-meal and glad I swapped to it bc we did order pretty heavy. Prob one of the best steaks we had. And we are steak eaters ! My bf tied it with his #1 steakhouse. Overall all the food was more than enough for the two of us to share. Then ofc ended our night with the table flambé sticky toffee pudding which was immaculate! I will say the caramel was either over cooked or too much alcohol bc there was a bitter taste towards the end. But the dulce de leche ice cream helped balance the bitterness. We also got a complimentary s'mores ice cream cake for the bday ! It was yummy, but too sweet with the marshmallow but again the chocolate and cherries created balance. 5/5 star review I am so looking forward to dining again. I definitely believe that they deserve a Michelin star if that's what they are aiming for. We do plan to try out their brunch buffet one day. We started out with complimentary glasses of Prosecco and sparkling cider while we waited to be seated. There was a little delay in getting our table, but it wasn't really a problem because we were chatting and enjoying the drinks. Before we entered, they had a floral photo wall where we took a photo together to memorialize the experience. And when we sat at the table, they had placed a lovely Mother's Day card on the table signed by the staff. The decor at Be.Steak.A is modern and feels very upscale. I think the bathrooms say a lot about a restaurant's attention to detail, and the bathrooms at Be.Steak.A were elevated - essential oil infused salt scrub to wash your hands, bidets, etc. The brunch buffet is just as described - hot items and pastries in the kitchen (so cool), a caviar bar outside, a separate station for cold seafood, another station for fruit and charcuterie, and then assorted desserts on the bar. The food was excellent. We started with the caviar -- the options and accouterments were plentiful and delicious. The caviar bar was so fun and felt luxurious. This was one of the highlights of the whole experience for me. For the other seafood, we enjoyed oysters, shrimp, crab legs, and other little seafood dishes, which unfortunately weren't labeled, so we didn't always know what we were eating. My friend had some dietary restrictions she was concerned about, so that was a little frustrating for her. But my favorite bite of the entire day was one of those unmarked seafood dishes- I wish I could tell you what it was -I think it was possibly squid. But it was so fresh and flavorful. Yum! The hot food in the kitchen was a neat experience. They had skewers and prime rib and many other dishes to choose from. I kept coming back to the seafood skewers. We were a little bummed that the beef Wellington was just gone when we entered the kitchen. There was still about another hour and a half of brunch service left so that was a disappointment for us. They also had numerous pasties and this amazing bread pudding that I drizzled a Nutella sauce over and added some strawberries to. This was probably my third favorite bite of the day (after the little seafood dish and the caviar experience). I'd be remiss if I didn't give the truffled deviled eggs from the charcuterie area a shout out. These were so good we kept going back for more. The desserts were good but a number of them were a little dry, I have to say. Surprisingly, my favorite was a little passionfruit tart that had just the right amount of sweetness. I'm usually a chocolate kinda gal but there weren't that many chocolate options, I have to say. A few other things- our server was lovely and gave us a lay of the land to start. She made sure we had any drinks we wanted and plenty of extra silverware. While there just aren't as many touch points with a server at a buffet, the interactions we did have were very positive. And even though I was disappointed that they ran out of the Beef Wellington, I was so impressed with how they kept replenishing and refilling the other dishes right up to the end of the buffet. This was an incredible dining experience. I'd highly recommend this brunch buffet experience for special occasions. I'm looking forward to dining here for dinner in the not so distant future!

No, the restaurant itself ( in a casual, rustic sort of way ) is very cozy and warm. inviting in a semi-formal way where you can relax to enjoy a fine meal and that is exactly what my family had. Our waiter was an affable fellow named Armando who is one of those servers that, as any good waiter does, is truly attentive to your whims and instinctively anticipates what you may want and he was perfect at his job. He served us water and a very food delicious basket of freshly baked bread ( which inadvertently set the tone for the meal to come because it was beyond excellent ) and named off the house specials, which were all mouth-watering at hearing them but it was the rib eye steak that caught my attention and that is what I ordered and also a ginger beer as well ( Fever Tree no doubt about it ). My family also ordered their food and then we waited for what what it seemed was an eternity for our meal to come. After about 40 minutes our meals came and they did not disappoint, from presentation to the flavor, taste and consistency of it all. I honestly don't remember eating my meal because it was done in 5 minutes... yes. it was that good and beyond delicious! I remember the steak was tender, juicy, grilled perfectly, the gravy was hearty and robust. the vegetables were cooked right ( fresh and tangy ) and the mashed potatoes were oh so fluffy and creamy. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal to the fullest and I left no food on my plate. This was a meal that was pretty epic for what it was and I was throughly satisfied. I ordered a tiramisu for dessert to take home and I'm sure it will be as good as the meal I had at the restaurant. Trattoria 360 is a fine establishment that has earned its flowers and you should give them a try if you're looking for delicious Italian food that is a cut above!

The staff was very attentive in checking in on us and they made sure to refill our waters. Overall service was excellent. Since this was a Tuesday afternoon there weren't that many people, but the ambiance of the restaurant overall was pretty nice. We ordered our food in two sets. First we ordered the pork XLB, the beef pot stickers, Dan Dan noodles and the ja jiang mian. Then we ordered the Q-bao and banana crepe. The first round of food came out quickly and we noticed that the banana crepe was sold out. 1. XLB - there was nothing really special about the XLB at Dough Zone. The wrapper was a bit thicker than I personally like and the filling was just ok. Not the worst XLB I've had, but there are definitely better out there. We were offered ginger for these and the ginger was given to us grated instead of julienne. 3/5 2. Beef pot stickers - these were surprisingly good with the crispy underside and a juicy filling. Would definitely order these again. 4/5 3. Dan Dan noodles - these noodles are made with ma la (麻辣) sauce which translates to numbing spice popular in sichuan cuisine. The flavor of the noodles was a little under whelming, relying entirely on the numbing spice, and honestly these were not spicy enough. I also did not enjoy the texture of these noodles as they were cooked al dente, but that did not go well with these types of noodles in my opinion. 2/5 4. Ja Jiang mian - these noodles were cooked to the same texture as the Dan Dan noodles and I didn't enjoy the texture. The flavor was a little too sweet and the texture of the sauce was a little grainy. 3/5 After finishing these 4 dishes we were still a little hungry so we ordered the Q-bao. We also noticed the banana crepe was no longer sold out, so we ordered that too. When the waiter came out with the order ticket she apologized and told us there would be a little bit of a wait for both of these as they were fried. The total wait time was 20 minutes after ordering. The restaurant was not busy, so wait times might be longer if they are busy. 5. Q-bao - these were the best thing we ordered. The bun was warm and fluffy and the filling went well with them. The inside was moist and juicy and the sear on the bottom was perfect. 5/5 6. Banana crepe w/ whipped cream - the batter used for the crepe was the same texture as what you would expect the green onion pancake to have. It was chewy and flaky, but a little off putting as I was almost expecting a savory flavor from my dessert. It went well with the banana and whipped cream. 4/5 Of the 6 items I ordered I would rank them as the following: Q-bao, beef pot stickers, banana crepe, ja Jiang mian, XLB, Dan Dan noodles.

I've had others such as the Butter Corn, Yuzu, Cheesey, but the cream vegan wins my heart and taste buds. I've also gone to other establishments and my go to's are closed indefinitely or the flavors are a miss. The ambiance and food service is amazing as well. All the workers are friendly, and very approachable. I've never had a bad experience whether it is during the day time or night and late late night. I also really appreciate the hours of operation. It's hard to find places open at late nights especially when I work late hours.

My absolute favorite dish is the grilled shrimp and BBQ pork with rice sheet wraps, it's outstanding. Their appetizers are good, and the egg rolls are especially delicious. The beef soup is also solid and comforting. You can tell this place has a loyal following many of the customers seem to be regulars, which really adds to the cozy, family style atmosphere. Fresh rolls and spring rolls were both amazing (2 for $7.25/ 4 for $11.25/ 8 for $19.25) Fresh rolls came with peanut and fish dipping sauce. A little sad that a lot of the fresh roll was bean sprouts and not noodles. Feels a little cheap. Spring rolls containing veggies inside was fantastic. Piping hot right out of the fryer. I could not get enough of it. Definitely worth the try for first-time visitors. I tried the ginger aromatic chicken this time $16.75, which came with rice and a very very small bowl of veggies that I think lack sauce. The Chicken on the other side was very flavorful, slightly dry. Lastly, the dessert was a surprisingly good finish to the meal. Always great to dine here.

I've been coming here for years, this is my first return visit since yelping, so here goes... Stacks has consistently good-to-great food, and I especially love their breakfasts. Today I had the farmers breakfast- 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, home fries. Yum. The bacon was thick sliced and cooked well, eggs over were just right, the sausages aren't the usual pork but they are so much better I don't miss the old standard. The coffee is served in a thermos on table, which is convenient and certainly saves the servers time, but the coffee is watered down and weak flavor... I find no excuse these days for a restaurant to serve poor coffee when there is so much good coffee available... And especially for MORE than the cost that would get a large coffee at a premium coffee shop down the corner. And that ties in with the main thing I don't like about Stacks- the prices! They are nearly double what they should be, and although the food is good, I had to pay over $ 13 for a breakfast that should be a lot less. Having said that, they after obviously in the right part of town, since it was busy when we arrived even though we were seated right away, and by the time we left, the waiting area was full, and people were lined up outside. So, my opinion regarding the price is obviously not shared by their patrons, judging by the lines. Regardless, I give them 4.5 stars for the food and overall experience, but 2 stars for the value. I went to stacks a long time ago as a kid and don't really remember my exp, but I'm always hearing so much about it. So last week when I was at the Downtown Campbell farmers market, my friend and I decided to have breakfast ther. Well I'm not big on pancakes in the first place and it was getting close to 1, so i ordered lunch. I ordered a philliy chesesesteak (chicken though) sandwich, It was ok, the meat was kinda dry and there wasn't enough cheese... but you know what i'm not basing this review on my sandwich because they say you should review a place on their best, what they are known for... well I guess I have to go back and have the pancakes and update this review... As far as service goes, I give them 5 stars. they told us the wait was going to be about 30-40 mins so we left and continued at the farmers market, we came back 30 mins later and got sat immediatly. The wiatress was very nice, she made sure our drinks never ran out, I always had my creamer and sugar, fresh water, and anytime I asked for something she promply brought it out. She was very friedly and alwasy smiling, she seemed to be very busy as well so I was impressed with her customer service skills, cuz I know I wouldn't have the patience to work in such a busy restaurant. Next time I go back I will most likely order the pancakes which I'm sure are good, the smell of them in the restaurant is just so good. read more

This place is a great breakfast place to go to. It's busy so you have to wait a bit, but definitely worth the wait! The waiters there are very nice and they're very smart to leave a pitcher of water there for you. They're very good with refilling your coffee too and asking how the food is and if there's anything else you need. My suggestions: Lumberjack pancackes - these are the blueberry pancakes and they're super moist and perfectly fluff. You don't really need butter, but syrup is a must (of course!) Garden Crepe and Veggie Scramble - if you're a veggie-only eater, these are great dishes to have. Hot links, mushroom, onion Skillet - it's a perfect combo with the potatoes. Also, a perfect amout for me when I'm really hungry. Mexican and Italian Frittata - I LOVE fritattas because it's kind of like an omelet, but everything's cooked altogether in a huge wok. I love making it and I love eating. I especially like these two because the mexican fritatta has avocado and the italian one has the spicy italian sausage..yummmmm Haven't been here for lunch, but I may have to try it out since their breakfast food is so delicious. Couple things regarding this place really rubs me the wrong way, for one If you call Stacks they quote you a waiting time of 15 min, HOWEVER when you arrive 5 min later its always a HOUR WAIT!! HELLO!! Why would you not tell me that on the phone!?!? I would of gone elsewhere!!! In addition, Service is always slow...no wonder the waits always soooooo long the servers are SLOW!! And lastly, on my last visit I came with a few friends wanting to treat them to breakfast... when I came to pay, THE RECEPT was in my hand including my credit card, my friend tried to pull a fast and had her cash out AND THEY TOOK IT! I demanded they give her money back and take my card BUT they refused!!! Then I had to raise my voice and say "If you don't take my card I will never return and make sure my family and friends never come here again!!!" the girl looked at the owner, he nodded and she took my card. This place is no better than a truck stop diner. But at least a truck stop diner understands its place; Stacks pretends to be better Just because it's in Campbell. Firstly, I was taken to the table without a menu, had to get up and get one myself. Second, I asked the server to sub the bagel with wheat bread, he acknowledged it. My meal was delivered with the bagel. I immediately noted that I asked for wheat, she said okay and grabbed the bagel off my plate, with her hands, and said she'd be back. She came back with wheat toast in her hand, and placed it on my plate! Effing astonishing! Third, the potatoes were cold. Fourth, I ordered an omelette, what was presented was more like an egg burrito! Thin sheet of egg rolled around the ingredients! These cooks need to learn what an omelette is; the server and hostess need to be better trained. What kind of person would bring the toast and place it on my plate with her hands. Granted she had gloves, but she was also handling money. Just shocking. And this place is busy? People don't know any better I guess! read more

Decided to give Stacks four stars for the delicious food and great location. I came here on Saturday to grab some breakfast with an old friend of mine, and it was a great experience. I ordered the egg scramble with a sausage and some orange juice, a perfect breakfast combination to start the day. It was all really delicious for the most part, although I wish it had been served a little bit hotter than it was. My friend ordered the blueberry pancakes which of course I had to try and they were really good as well, not dry at all and not ridiculously sweet. The staff was polite and attentive to our needs, but the service was pretty slow overall. We waited a good twenty minutes just to grab our seats and another twenty minutes for someone to take our order. It also gets crowded here quite regularly, so it's best if you plan ahead before coming here or at least call in and ask how long the wait times are. Great breakfast place to try out if you can handle the wait, you won't be disappointed! read more

What is all the hoopla with this place? I just don't get it. After a year in dt Campbell and everyone and their mama talking about Stacks and how wonderful their food was, I finally decided to try it out. I met a girlfriend around 11am on a Tuesday and was ready to grub. My first impression of Stacks was that the place looked nice, but then I went inside and it was just plain....just plain. Next, my friend and I were getting the creepy stare-down from all of the empIoyees...strike number two. I ordered something simple- strawberry crepes and my friend ordered eggs, bacon, and toast. Hey, we're easy, that's what the boys say! The food took forever to come out, but at least the waitress did apologize. The food just wasn't very tasty. What a let-down. FYI- I would have given Stacks 2 stars based on their food and service, but they are not a current member of the Downtown Campbell Business Association are not at all involved in community events and that's just a bummer :(" read more

Consistently amazed with this breakfast joint. Service is always good and the owner/host moves people in n out quickly. Once I went in with a group of seven, they only take reservations for 7 or more I think, and somehow we weren't on the reservation list. I dont think it was their fault but who knows. Well the owner/host told us it would be a few minutes and he would get us a table, the avg wait time for a couple at that moment was about 20 minutes. He sat us quickly and we had a great breakfast. The service is awesome and the best thing to get are the waffles or pancakes, well actually all of their food is good. I like how they leave a pitcher of water ont he table so you can refill you own drinks, and if you order coffee they leave a thermos on the table also. great place for breakfast. read more

My friends and I headed to Downtown Campbell this weekend to do some eating and shopping. Stacks had been talked about a lot, so we checked it out. Despite the long wait, I think it was worth it!! I had a garden omelet (veggie omelet? I can't remember the real name lol), and it was goooood. The veggies were fresh, the portions were good, and I really liked that it came with a bagel instead of toast. My friend got pancakes, and she gave them a thumbs up! The prices are a little bit on the high side, but it won't break the bank. Service was a little slow, but they were busy, which I guess is a good sign. But that was my main complaint. I don't know if they were short staffed that day or what. But the food was good, and we had a good time. read more

Visited Stacks with my gf after the Farmers market for breakfast. What a mistake! I order the corn hash with extra side bacon and my gf ordered the Blueberry pancakes. My hash was a left over either from a can or a day before, so was the side of bacon, which was cold and greasy and tasted like pure salt for $5.50!!! The pancake was also lousy and salty without proper texture and taste of real blueberry. What a mess. we dropped close to $55 for this lousy breakfast. Good we have more choices now with Coop and Mo's both serving far better breakfast than this place. Stacks used to a fine place to have breakfast and lunch, but the quality and management has regressed substantially in the past couple of years. read more

I hate eating out when it comes to american breakfast due to the simple fact that I don't believe in paying 8 bucks for someone to fry up some eggs and bacon for you. But Stack's on the other hand?? Worth every penny. *Pros* - Unlike other places that gives you a wimpy amount of food for 10 bucks, this place PILES up your plate. - Great food. From fajitas to omlettes, everything on the menu are a masterpiece here. Nothing you can make at home. Their signature recipe is how you get your money's worth. - You will get attentive friendly service no matter how busy this place gets. *Cons* - There are always people lining up out past the doors. cant figure out what the big deal is about this place, the service is slow and sometimes really sucks, the wait is horrible and over in the back it always smells like bleach or some other strong cleaner, now who wants to eat in that? skip this place and either go to the hickory pit or lori's diner at valley fair, both serve a pretty good breakfast, with little to no wait. oh and it is not that good for large groups, as some say it is, unless you want to wait 3 hours and all the crabby old bags that eat here stare at kids when ever they make noise or whatnot, just a headup on crabby old people. read more

The first time I went to Stacks it was a Sunday morning. It was a jungle itself to get in to sign up. I was hungry like now now so a 50 minute wait was a no go. Take two: The second time I went to Stacks it was a Thursday morning. There was still about a 15 minute wait but I'm glad I stuck around. To someone who isn't a breakfast person, stacks just may seem like normal breakfast but IT'S NOT! I was kinda of lost in the menu, what to get what to get. The pancakes here are friggen great. Over priced breakfast food seems to be the norm in Campbell. Stacks is a staple in the neighborhood and if you ask around everyone seems to love it. I think the atmosphere helps mask the taste of the food which is normal breakfast diner food at best. It does not seem like they have a signature dish or any specialties, the "hash browns" are undercooked for my liking, even after asking for them to be "crispy", they also have a plastic like after taste. I have given Stacks multiple chances and I don't think I will be going back, which is a shame because of how close I live. read more

Stacks has a great gluten-free menu. This is the great spot for brunch on the weekends. One time my girlfriend and I decided to order take-out since the wait is too long. Ordering online was great, the food was ready once we got there. Regarding the food, I would say the food is a bit above average, but nothing too fancy. I had the steak and eggs. Steak was okay, not bad for a brunch spot. I tried the chicken sausage and eggs, which wasn't bad. I am currently training for a fight and I am so glad they are able to accommodate a gluten-free and diary-free request. read more

This place has a great staff, besides the cranky manager. We have never eaten inside becuase its always so gorgeous in Campbell. Outside seating is wonderful and sunny and the staff are always humourous and effervescent. The food is awe-inspiring. It must be from another dimension where food tastes like jesus. Hasbrowns are never crispy enough to my liking but American Breakfast should be judged by the standard Stacks sets. They also won't sit you unless your whole party is there, so lie if they haven't all shown up and add them as they come. Act surprised. : ) read more

This place is the best. It fills my empty belly with warm delicious pancakes on a regular basis - the banana mac pancakes the definition of the word BOMB. Also the Feta Omelet hits the spot time and time again. The staff is super friendly - especially Shel and Irene who got to know my name and order down by my 3rd visit. They have a busy working man like myself in/out quickly which is a priceless attribute to a sit down restaurant. The bill runs up quickly but its worth it to have great food/service read more

Over the past couple of weeks, I have eaten here 4 times. Each time, I have tried something different (chicken friend steak, various omelets and scrambles) and enjoyed everything I've had to date. I'll need to move on to try some of their sweet offerings the next time I go. The coffee is above average for a breakfast diner, but the Bloody Mary's are truly outstanding. When they ask you "Do you want it a little spicy?", be prepared if you are heat averse. read more
